Palmetto Superfoods is a great spot for refreshing drinks and healthy bowls. Their açai bowls have always been pretty solid, but lately I've been especially impressed by their drinks, which in my opinion, could rival some of the drinks you'd find at Erewhon without the hefty price. This Mountain View location was quick and efficient, with one kiosk for ordering. There's limited indoor seating, but on a nice day, sitting outside to enjoy your drink or bowl is ideal. A great option when you're looking for something tasty that still feels on the healthier side.
I stopped by on a weekend evening for a quick bow. Bay blend and Warrior blend were my bowls both were really delicious. There were a lot of healthy things in the bowl including spirulina and gogi berry. They made delicious bowls with just healthy ingredients. Cant ask for more.

Efficient service. You order from the kiosk and your name is called a few minutes later. This is the 3rd Palmetto Superfoods I've been to. Gotta say, so far all the stores have been consistent as far as how they make your bowl, slice your fruit, drizzle your toppings, and sprinkle your ingredients. Same great taste! This branch was located in a neighborhood apartment off a nice quiet street where you can sit outside or in your car. Inside has a couple of seats. Clean.
We mobile-ordered for pickup after a tennis class nearby on a Sat afternoon. This entire plaza is really new and super convenient, with food, movies, TJs, Target, and BodyRok all in one! Limited street parking, but a few parking garages in the same plaza. A lot of people were sitting outside eating pizza from the store next door, really good sunny afternoon vibes. Our drinks were already ready when we got there, and I liked how the staff put the ready-made drinks in a fridge so they wouldn't melt on the hot day. Drinks themselves were delicious, palmetto always hits the spot, especially after a good workout. Would definitely come back if I'm in the area!
I came for my second time on a Sunday at 8:15, I ordered on the app. Such a vibe walking in with Cuban music playing , the doors open, just very welcoming & islandy. The staff member was super efficient and friendly, knew it was me who ordered, confirmed my name and let me know she was working on my order. I got the blue bondives smoothie which has actual granola in it and has a more of a banana taste. So far between that one and let me love you smoothie, I like the let me love you smoothie better since it has more of a coconut taste if I remember correctly. But still phenomenal. I want to try all the smoothies! I got the bay blend bowl again since it's just so good, I love everything about it from the bases to the toppings. I could eat a bucket full but limit myself at a small and it gets the job done. Can't wait for my next trip!

The Palm Blend Bowl - can definitely taste all the flavors except the matcha, definitely natural and real tasting, scoop of peanut butter is not mixed. . I could honestly rave about Palmettos Superfoods all day. It's one of my favorite places to get an açaí bowl or smoothie, and I truly feel like nothing else really compares. The flavor of their bases tastes so natural and the texture is thick and smooth. At a lot of other places the base can taste artificial or melts way too quickly, but Palmettos always gets the consistency just right. Their toppings are also really unique, and I'm especially obsessed with their house made almond butter. I also love how they're always coming out with new flavors. Don't sleep on the blueberry ube. It's so good!! This location is right down the street from where I work, so it's super convenient to stop by during lunch. It's located in the San Antonio Village Plaza and there's a little waterfront right in front of the shop, which makes it really nice to sit outside, enjoy your bowl, and listen to the water. I recently tried their açaí cold brew smoothie and was honestly surprised by how much I liked it. The coffee flavor is subtle but blends really well with the açaí. Next time I might ask them to add a little more cold brew just to bring out more of that coffee flavor. Overall, I love this location and Palmettos in general. The quality and consistency across their locations are always great, and it's exciting to see them continuing to expand!
Had an appointment in MV, and realized there's a Palmetto nearby! Was having a sweet tooth, but didn't want to feel guilty eating something sweet that early in the morning so I just knew the healthy and better choice was this! Got the yummy Bay Area themed options the golden state and warrior blend for my heart and soul! Fresh and delicious ingredients! I really tasted the ginger in them too! I got 2 items: avocado matcha love smoothie & a diy açaí bowl. The smoothie comes with avocado, matcha, banana and coconut milk. - I personally am not a fan of banana and so I asked without it. The smoothie is thick and I think I may have got the wrong size draw to drink it. Otherwise, flavor itself is very good and wasn't to sweet. The açaí bowl I got these as the base açaí, pitaya dragonfruit, ube blackberry, passion fruit orange guava. & then I got peanut butter, honey almond granola, roasted coffee & oats granola, strawberries, blueberry, mango, kiwi, pineapple, cacao nibs, shredded coconut, pumpkin seed, cashew, and raw honey. - This hit the spot after a meal! Was craving dessert and this was perfect. Healthy little bowl of fruits ~~ I highly recommend doing the DIY one that way you can choose exactly what you like!
I love Palmetto Superfoods! The flavors are delicious and unique - they totally satisfy that dessert craving while still feeling fresh and healthy. My favorite flavors are Coconut Beach (which doesn't have too strong of a coconut taste) and the chia pudding, though honestly all the flavors are delicious. You can fully customize your bowl and add toppings like wildflower honey and granola. The smoothies are also worth trying - the Turmeric Golden Warrior is a favorite. Overall, a great experience. One heads-up: ordering ahead is a good idea if you want to avoid a wait. The Mountain View location doesn't have a ton of indoor seating, but I went about an hour before closing and had no problem finding a spot. There are also tables and chairs outside, which are perfect for sitting in the sun and enjoying your bowl or smoothie. read more
Cute place with good decor and at least several tables inside/outside. Self kiosk for orders. The large size for ~$17-18 was perfect to share for two people. The mango base reminded me of Italian ice and acai is the usual sweetness you can get anywhere. I wished our bowl had more peanut butter and almond butter but we did order a lot of fruit and toppings so 5/5 for presentation because everything fit under the lid. We also added the blue chia pudding but small size so there was a thin layer. This was really good with the acai. I liked the mulberry topping and the granola is perfect with the acai. If you're in the area, it's a solid choice that also served smoothies. read more
I'm a frequent Town and Country Palmetto Superfoods go-er, and was excited to try this location after doing a morning hike at the Stanford Dish! Ample parking and seating outdoors. Because Palmetto allows for custom orders, I think it would benefit them to have multiple kiosks for ordering, not just one. Or even having more printed menus by the door instead of only at the counter. It takes a while for the line to move because people take a while deciding what they want. I got the pitaya as per usual this morning, but it was so freezer burnt that I couldn't taste anything close to pitaya, and the texture was off. I went back in and explained the situation, and the worker gladly changed out the base for me even though I would have been happy with just dumping out my contents into a separate bowl without the pitaya. read more

Hands down the best Acai bowl store that I've been to. The different choices for base and unlimited toppings makes the choices endless and delicious! I wish I lived closer so I could have these more often, but when I'm traveling for work, these are such a treat! I wish they provided nutritional facts though so I could understand how much added sugar is included, but beyond that, this place is perfect and well worth a visit! read more

Located at the Village Plaza in Mountain View, Palmetto Superfoods, is a great place to stop to get a refreshing açai bowl. The store has lots of bowls and smoothies to choose from and three different sizes and the portions are quite generous. The staff is super friendly and willing to make recommendations as you walk in. Our party went on a Monday afternoon and both parking and the restaurant had little to no wait. The Village ambience really puts this place over the top, would definitely come again. read more
Hands down my favorite açaí place I've been to. There are more unique toppings and bases (I love the ube blackberry and coconut beach) and it's really customizable with tons of options. The fruit is always fresh and sweet, and I really like the coconut condensed milk sweetener. It's my go to healthy dessert option. New Palmetto in Mountain View!! I'm happy to see more Palmetto's popping up in the area lol. Their acai bowls and smoothies are the best! I really liked this location because it felt spacious and it's located in a pretty nice area, lots of outdoor seating and things to do in general. Ordering is done at the kiosk like other Palmettos. I ordered the Let Me Love You smoothie and my order came out SUPER quickly which I was grateful for. 5 stars for the bowl, 1 stars for the service. I think I had acai bowl once in my life. I went today because my friend like açaí and the store in Mtn view, where she usually went was closed for good. After ordering on the ordering pad, we waited outside. Per the order pad I would get notified if my order was ready, thus their asking me for phone number. After 1/2 he I decided that it took too long for an açaí bowl to be prepared, especially the fact that the store was not busy and all ingredients were ready to be scooped. It turned out my order was already placed in their fridge. My phone didn't ding and my name was never called. My order came up correctly, but the bowl for my friend was frozen solid, from the açaí to the banana and strawberry. Unless they put it in liquid nitrogen, it's strange that açaí bowl turned frozen in half hour and mine wasn't. I had to bring it up to the server, she simply took it back and rummaged in the fridge and voila! She found the exact same one in normal açaí temp. My friend didn't say anything but she thought the bowl she got was not what she ordered, after eating two scoops, another server asked if we got the right order. My friend went back and said no. She rummaged in the fridge and produced the right bowl for her (she ordered just açaí with toppings of her choice). The server told her she could just keep what she had eaten but withheld what my friend really ordered. Hmm.. my friend she really wanted what she ordered instead of what was given to her by mistake. Reluctantly the server gave her the "just açaí" I was taken aback with the fact that instead of apologizing to the customer the server proceeded to withhold the right order and let the customer had the wrong bowl. At the end the server did give her the correct order and since she couldn't take back what has been partially eaten, my friend got two bowls. The server didn't apologize. I think they need better training. If she was the owner she needs to evaluate her service. I am not coming back here. read more

Tried Palmetto for the very first time and I was hooked after one bite! The fact that you can customize your bowl is something you can't find at other acai places. A small for less than $10 with all that you could possibly add is an absolute steal. Fruit is also really fresh and this location is super convenient with a parking lot in the back. There's some limited outdoor seating but there's more open seating along the street too. read more
Stumbled upon this Palmetto Superfoods while going for a walk and was very pleasantly surprised about the space. Parking is easy - tons of street parking and near by garage parking too. Aesthetically pleasing, clean, and the employees were very kind. Wait times for food isn't that long. Food here is great, fresh and tasty. Portions sizes are consistent across the board from all locations I've been to. You can choose from their menu or build your own. Both options are great and you really can't go wrong. read more

I got The Palm Blend Açaí Bowl and the Let Me Love You Smoothie and they were both delicious!! The Palm Blend Açaí Bowl was loaded with various yummy toppings such as pineapple, mango, coconut, etc. for the açaí itself, I really enjoyed the dragonfruit and matcha, I especially love how it has a strong matcha taste. The Let Me Love You Smoothie was very refreshing and delicious as well, I could tell they use fresh, high-quality fruits. I've been to their location in Palo Alto multiple times, so was excited to see another one open in Mountain View! Came here on a Saturday around lunch time and there was 1 kiosk taking orders. I think given that many customers tend to order their açai bowls with customizations, ordering can take long so I hope that they add more ordering kiosks in the future! ~the acai bowl ($8.95 for small)~ I got a small sized bowl with their açai, coconut, and chia pudding base + a whole assortment of fruits and nuts for toppings! I love that you can put unlimited amount of toppings per bowl! Fruits were very fresh, love the huge variety of both bases and toppings! ~overall~ The store didn't seem too busy (I think there was maybe 1-2 customers waiting for their food) but we still waited quite a bit for our bowls, but it could also just be because they recently just opened! Would be nice if they installed at least another kiosk to make the ordering process a bit faster! ~pricing~ Same pricing as the other locations; I think it's worth the price considering the huge variety of bases/toppings! Stopped by for something quick and ended up really liking this place. I built my own açaí bowl with mango, strawberries, almonds, and granola -- everything tasted fresh and the texture was smooth, not icy. Service was also great! Also got the chocolate açaí smoothie, which was surprisingly good. It's chocolatey but not too heavy or overly sweet. Simple, clean, and a solid option if you're in the mood for something refreshing. Unlimited toppings! No kidding! don't go too crazy and just stick to a few toppings so you can really enjoy. But you can do anything of course since you can customize your açaí bowl however you like! There's one self service kiosk where you pick what toppings to order or you can order ahead online. If you want something easy then go with a set combination because I tried the CARNAVAL (pittaya and matcha) and BAY BLEND (their most popular item) and both were yummy. I love Palmetto and have been waiting for this location to open for MONTHS since it would've been the closest location to me. I came during their soft opening. It was quite empty when I came so I just ordered on the self-serve kiosk. I noticed they now charge extra for certain toppings (might not be exclusive to this location - haven't been to Palmetto in general for a while) when these used to be free. My favorite thing about Palmetto is that you have so many great options to choose for everything ranging from bases to toppings to sweeteners. My go-to base is usually acai and the blue chia seed pudding, which was what I got this time. Unfortunately, I felt like they didn't really put that much blue chia seed pudding (you can barely even see the layer in my photo!). Usually, when I order, they really pack the acai bowl, so I always ask for a dome lid. However, this time, they didn't really add as many toppings and didn't give me a dome lid either (I saw the acai bowl before the lid was put on so it's not because the lid flattened and condensed the contents of the bowl). Fortunately, the bowl itself was delicious still. It was packed with different flavors and textures. The acai base is not overwhelmingly sweet and had a good consistency. I'll still be back to this location since they're the best acai bowl place in South Bay but I do hope that they can prep their bowls to similar quality as the other locations. read more

What a great addition to the plaza and right at the start of summer! There's a ton of fitness studios around so I think this is great for the population. They do take a while to make the order but they're just starting out. I didn't mind cos there's plenty to do in this plaza - grocery shopping, bank, go touch grass. I recommend submitting your order through the app if you want a head start. Use the app in general if you want to learn what's going in your order because the menu is tiny. My only complaint is that I think the small is quite expensive for that size, but it was delicious. A tad bit too sweet but not sure if they can do anything about that. This location is tons better than the one in Palo alto. The one in Palo alto tasted like freezer burn and the toppings were stale. read more
