But if you actually follow the BBB link on their own site, you'll find that they're not accredited and have an "F" rating with multiple unresolved complaints. That should have been my first red flag. The initial crew they sent out was friendly and seemed competent. They got the trenchless line replacement done, and the work passed inspection. But once Cesar, the owner, received his final payment -- before the job was fully completed -- he disappeared. Completely stopped answering calls, only occasionally responded to texts after I threatened escalation, and even then just sent vague promises like, "We'll come tomorrow." I got that same excuse five times over nearly three weeks. Each time, nobody ever showed up. Now I'm left with multiple open trenches in my yard, exposed pipe, and an increasingly frustrated right-of-way inspector who could hold me liable for the unfinished state of the project. The pictures attached show how they left my front yard (even their cones are still here). Cesar might underbid competitors to win your business, but this company is a total gamble. If you do take the risk, I strongly advise you never pay in full until every part of the work is completed and confirmed in writing. They dug up our grass to lay a drainage line and our friends that live across the street remarked what a nice job they did in replacing the grass. There was an issue of a damaged internet line but they worked closely with the ISP firm to insure the line was replaced the very same day by waiting on Ziply and helping them install the new line. Two months later they came back and changed out 3 grated clean out covers with ones that have filtering screening on them to address insects hatching out of the clean outs. Communication was excellent and they addressed all issues with promptness.

Next, I bought a 1931 home that was a rental. It had deferred maintenance. And the inspection report told me I would need to make some plumbing fixes. I had them replace all the tub/shower faucets and valves. I also got a new tub drain (there was evidence that at some point there had been a leak). I got a new water shut off. A new copper water line for the fridge. A new basement utility sink. New water connection to the washer. A new p-trap to the bathroom sink. I learned that the best faucets are Moen. Garrett and Abe are a great team. I do feel like Jafco is more expensive than if you hire a local one-person plumber. That might be to cover their marketing and scheduling. But Jafco can fit your in pretty quickly. So that is a nice trade-off for when your plumbing job is time sensitive.
