This is an important step necessary to be done correctly from the very beginning if not you will have to start over. Madison will tell you how they want the documents notarized before they pass it along to the other countries consulate for their certification. This is particularly important because of identity fraud and security. We worked with both of the notaries and they were both patient with doing the paperwork accurately each time. We're very lucky to have this service available. This location is disable accessible with a ramp available on the eastern side of the building. The door on the right is bit heavy but if you're in need there are many people around to help you get in. 28/2025 Service 5 Ambiance 5 Location 5 easy 2 hour parking around the building. Notary Public Concerns/Issues…read more Peyton Freng; Notary Public needs more Training! Period! She purposely makes mistakes on important documents, so that the recipient calls UPS to fact check the validity of the Notary, which then provides proof of where the document went and essentially what the document was for! On Multiple Occasions, I've gone here to get documents Notarized for Business Reasons and Execution of Signature to ensure documents are witnessed properly. Each time the Notary makes a mistake on the document such as, 1)Writing the incorrect date, 2) Refusing to place Notary Stamp in a directed location by purchaser, or even 3)Writing/striking a line through the date; is a bait tactic. This bait tactic warns the recipient/viewer of signatures to "Fact Check," where the purchaser got the Notary from. In part, the Notary Public has concerns about what they are signing and want to verify where the document was going (i.e.) Reasons, just in case they were ever subpoenaed to come into court, they would know what they are attached to. In many cases, it is rare for a Notary Public to be pulled into ANY situation related to what a purchaser is having their signature witnessed on! I have had really important documents questioned by the recipient, because they had several markings on them! Wisconsin, is the ONLY state I've ever been to, where "Training is obtained, forgotten and not enforced, but the Credential Holder, remains licensed; under DSPS." However, the purchaser is held accountable for the mistake of the licensed individual!!! How does this even make sense? Going forward, I'll be using the sister organization I work with to get document signatures notorized/witnessed! If you are busy and down to the last hour, go here only if its urgent! Better to bring multiple copies of the same document just in case someone makes a mistake!

Yes. I am writing a review about a storage facility. I would never even have known as much as I…read moreunfortunately know about them had I not moved about 5 times in the past 3 years. So, here it goes. I guess for the most part, the best things about this particular storage facility are: #1. The service and the people who work there. #2. Location, location, location! #3. Safety. #4. First month is free if you mention the special. Unlike other storage facilities that I've used (Public Storage and Uhaul), this is probably the best one. At least for me. The other places have their own pro's which I'll get to but also have some major cons. The people who work at East Bank Storage are friendly and knowledgeable. This is pretty much the ONLY storage facility close to a good neighborhood and not in some remote place in the middle of some remote ghetto. You'll see the least amount of sketchy people at this facility. The employees don't seem like crack heads nor do the people who put their entrusted belongings there. In fact, I think the employees listen to Christian rock music. The cons of East Bank; Unlike Public Storage or Uhaul where you can access your belongings 24/7, you can only access your belongings at this place monday through friday, during work hours. So, they close at 5p. And on saturday they close at 3p. And they are not open on sunday. The other major setback is that this facility is designed like a building and the units are on different floors, so there is a huge lift. The other places have drive up garages and individual units at ground level. But also exposed to the outdoors and the elements. So anyway, once-and-a-while, you get there and someone else is using the lift and you just have to wait. Luckily I've never waited that long but it could be a major clusterfuck during peak moving times. The nice thing though is that because of these hours, the facility is always being monitored. And when it closes, the whole place is on lock down. I have a friend who even rents a wine storage cellar there. So, it's basically more upscale with a few drawbacks. If you have nice or expensive shit, take it here instead of a mainstream facility. Otherwise, the others are a-ok, I guess.

Aside from the jankiest freight elevator around and the super limited hours to get your items out…read moreof storage, they charge you the first of the month and if you get your stuff out after the 5th of month, they still charge you for the whole month after assuring you when you sign up that you get prorated for the time you use in the month. I guess they have to make their money somehow and don't seem to think that following through with their statements when signing up is important. Find a nicer unit that you can access more freely (after 5pm or weekends) that actually has a more function way of moving your stuff up the floors. Never again.

I had some old toner cartridges and asked Google where I could recycle them, and Google AI said…read morethat The Postal Shoppe on N Alpine Rd has recycling for toner cartridges. I then verified the information on the website for The Postal Shoppe, and it said, "The friendly team at The Postal Shoppe are big fans of the environment and always try to do our part to "keep it green" by recycling whenever and whatever we can." Along with "We encourage the residents and business owners of Rockford, IL to also do their part by using The Postal Shoppe as their recycling center.", along with a listing if items they recycle to include toner cartridges. However, when I arrived at The Postal Shoppe, I found the team anything but friendly. At first, I was told no, they do not do any recycling. When I asked about the website, the staff told me it was "not our problem", and "we don't care", and "we are not responsible for the website". When I pressed them on the information posted on the website, they said it was probably the old owners. So, I asked when the owners changed. They said it was 5 years ago, but again they didn't care and are not responsible. This review is for the attitude of employees at The Postal Shoppe. Instead of "I'm sorry we no longer offer that service. I'll let the owner know to update the website"; it was "not our problem", and "we don't care". To the owners of The Postal Shoppe, if you no longer offer a service that listed on your website, then you should update it. Apparently, it's been at least 5 years since this service was offered. Just pick them up during business hours if they don't fit in your box. - Sell a bunch of c**p on fleabay? Just drop it off and they will take care of all the shipping for you. Just settle up later. Bruce who runs the place is one of the nicest guys you'll meet and will recognize you the second time you come in! This place is well run, very convenient and extremely reasonable. If you live or work in Vernon Hills, go in and they'll help you avoid a ton of hassles from the incompetent USPS and the inconvenient UPS!

I have been to this location multiple times, only checked in once. There only seems to be one worker here at a time. They are always friendly and eager to help. At the end of the year the rate increased to $62/mo but because I had realized I didn't need a large unit I downsized. I was initially planning to rent a a 5x5 unit but Steve(?) let me know that they had 5x7 units that would be cheaper. I am now paying only $14/mo. They have changed their policy so I was only able to pay for 6 mo in advance. It was also explained to me that the pricing depends on demand. Since the facility is down the block from Marquette there are predictable surges at the start and end of the school year.

The account was passed down to me with the death certificate and I paid the late fee amount. I requested a better rate and she said that it was approved for me. Payments started coming out my account for my deceased brother's rate for over 7 months and all correspondence was being mailed to his old address and not myself. Then the rate that was discussed finally was being directly being taken out for payment. In January of this year rate was going up too $289 for my camper spot! I called Fran and her excuse was it took system a while to switch the account directly to you and I told her that I will be moving it out by the 7th of March my due date for payment. I go to move it and the camper was hit by the other camper on the other side of me knocked it off the braces/bracket and left a large dent in the corner which will cost me more money to get it fixed on top of the money I had too pay to have it towed to another location. There was 4 campers that left because or the high rates. The day I was moving it they tried to bill me again but I locked my Credit Card. Fran would not pay the over charges but a $25 coupon to be used on my next month when I told her that I was moving it. I told her that I wanted to speak to corporate but she said that she was corporate and I can only deal with her. She would not give me her managers phone number and when I called any phone number it wend directly to her and she would leave me on hold and never pick up. Badly enough I loss my brother and I still grieving but the stress and money loss to this company and that employee said one thing and did nothing after what was agreed upon. A year later the switch the account to me and she said the system was slow but the mean time your taking my money and an address from deceased person. I am still trying to speak to someone from corporate and I will be contacting the local news station to not letting this happen to anyone else! Do not rent from this place! Their rates are high and can change without notice but take the monies out your account at anytime. The company doesn't care!
