I have been coming here for a year now since I moved to California from Nebraska. The dentist and her assistant and all top professionals in my opinion. I have had multiple visits, each with no pain or complications. The appointment reminders are early and consistent, they schedule a return visit after each appointment. I had a cavity removed once and I didn't feel anything, just a quick pinch and they got to work fixing my teeth. I have nothing but high praises for the office and the entire team that works here. My previous dentist recently retired, so it was time to find a new one. First and foremost, I was impressed by the staff & dental hygienists at the Foothill Dental Group. Everyone who I met was so warm & welcoming. This really set the tone for my visit(s). Dr. Zhu is absolutely AMAZING. I had a few procedures that required multiple visits. She demonstrated the perfect mixture of empathy, care, and knowledge that put me at ease. My first experience here wasn't that great. I had a chipped filling and my other dentist didn't have availability in the same month so I came here out of desperation. Dr. Sohail came in after they took my xrays (they didnt want the xrays from my previous dentist). He first introduced himself and boasted about his accolades and experiences and then explained what he's going to do with my tooth filling. He then disappeared and another lady dentist came in. I was confused and asked the assistant who will be doing the filling today. She confirmed the lady will. Not an issue if I was told beforehand. I've only been to a handful of dentists here in the bay area and it's always the main dentist who takes care of my teeth problems (other than cleaning) or I was always informed beforehand that someone else will be doing it. Ok so as we were about to start the procedure, there was a period of me waiting for the admin to print out the papers for me to sign. But it took too long so the lady was going to start injecting the anasthesia. The tool was already in my mouth and I dont know how many inches away that needle was from my gum was when admin came in with the papers for me to sign. It made me so flustered! Then during the procedure, the 2 doors of the room weren't closed so people were coming and going, asking the doctor/assistant for things which is very distracting to me. 2nd experience was I called to see if my husband can do his 2nd part of his 2-part cleaning at this place (he did the first part somewhere else). They said yes so I made the appt. When we came to the appt, the admin processed his insurance and said unfortunately they can't take him. This could all have been avoided if they ask for his insurance over the phone and checked right then and there. What a waste of time. The procedure went well and my filling has stayed put ever since. So maybe I'll give this place another shot if I have another emergency. Pros: Parking lot. Open on weekends. Cons: front desk/admin can use more help. read more

The office manager gave me a call right away and was very kind and professional. My root canal was one of the best I've had w Dr Sohai and Patty! The color, cement, the experience, they were efficient and the numbing process was so gentle that I didn't cry which I usually do. Omg!!! Life saver!! I want to cry I'm soooooo thankful!!! This was an emergency dental appointment!! I called Friday night crying; my best friend had Recommended to call him (it was after hours) he told me he could get me in the next day! I went on a Saturday after hours and he did my root canal after three other dentist had said the root canal was extremely difficult to do and I should've extracted the tooth. I came in for cleaning yesterday, but was sad that Jocelyn, the hygienist that took care of me in Dec is no longer working @ this facility. I was met by Susie, the new hygienist. I am nervous going to a dentist office so it helps when the person ( hygienist) shows concern on the 1st time. Susie is the opposite of how I was treated. She never asked during the process if I was Ok. I would raise my hand for her to stop so I can breathe, gargle but she continues to jab inside my mouth. This woman is cold hearted that I didn't see any connection to her patient. I am so discouraged and while cleaning my teeth, I'd ask for H20 rinse, and she will make me wait and use Air instead. This has got to be the worst experience I've had. I called to schedule an appointment a few weeks ago and I did let them know that I needed to get my wisdom teeth removed. The lady over the phone told me that she would make sure there would be an oral surgeon there to work on me the same day. When I arrive and the dentist was evaluating my teeth he told me that he wasn't an oral surgeon and they don't have one there to be able to work on my teeth. I told him that the reason why I called to make an appointment with them was simply because I needed my wisdom teeth removed. It was such an inconvenience. I went for an emergency dental appointment, but was looking for a regular dentist to complete a fair amount of work as well. My experience from the phone, to arriving at the office, interacting with the staff, and the dentist directly was extremely positive. I started calling places at 4am, left voice mails and sent emails in regards to needing an urgent new patient appointment the next day. The office opened at 9am and I received a call around 915am welcoming me to come, in a couple of hours. I was very excited as others didn't call me back until much later in the day. Upon arrival, everything was clean, and COVID protocols were fully exercised. I especially liked that other patients seemed happy during their time, as I was being brought back. Which I need to add, the wait time, after initial paperwork was minimal and prompt. The staff really takes the time to explain everything. Not only was the cause of my emergency identified quickly, a full examination was completed, and a full treatment plan presented. My procedure was quick and I was back to work the same day. It gave me piece of mind to also receive a call from the dentist directly checking on my progress the next morning!!! Taking those extra steps, really matter most. I appreciate the human and kind approach from everyone that could be encountered. It was an excellent first experience, and I will be back for additional work. I would highly recommend this place to anyone for emergent and non emergent dental work. You can't beat quality! read more

Want to start off by saying Rebeca is wonderful on the phone and in person when I called to make appointment and explained my situation. She made me feel better on the extent of the work I would need to get ,which I knew already it was a lot , and my husband as well. We have been already twice had our first appointment was X-rays and cleaning and dentist who examined us &!going over what they could do. We felt very comfortable and confident in what were being told Dentist who did the exam Second appointment was consultation with Dr.Sohaill he was great both my husband and myself were very pleased with how he handled the appointment from beginning to end. Dr. Sohail M. Ebrahimi was awesome. My father had a chronic abscess in one of his tooth that already had a bridge. Dr. Ebrahimi sectioned the bridge so that only the affected tooth could be pulled and other teeth had its crown intact.
