This is a real who dune it: the mystery of the soggy bottom. Soggy bottoms are never good. You hold your friends baby and you notice a soggy bottom... just pass it along to mommy or daddy fast like a hot potato. Your in your car... notice a soggy bottom - turn up the A/C and the ventilated seats... Here I walk in and am genuinely pleased with the interior appearance of the restaurant. Its in the Alameda Marketplace so I expect the same industrial feel as next door - but it looks nothing like the unfinished warehouse just on the other side of the one wall. Not that the industrial feel is bad - this just gives off the upscale vibe and my expectations soar. Even the heavy duty paper napkin below my knife and fork the most elegant I've ever seen - as far as paper napkins go. Beautifully aged hardwood floors, a tile entry. Dark table tops. Comfortable booth seats across a wall or two. Looked like one super long community table anchoring the center of the restaurant. Artfully designed reclaimed wood look behind the bar with a mirror in dead center as a focal point. Huge pizza oven and even bigger vent hood. I appreciate the big vent hood as it helps with interior comfort - air quality is top notch. A bartender juggles with the mixing of some drink just as they do in Vegas at Carnival Court... A nice touch. As I enter this beautiful restaurant all I really want to do is settle in with a beer or two or three. I was super hungry as I entered but a lot of that went away as I saw the bar. A dark beer would have been filling enough - too bad I have to hit the road. I order a drink a Mormon would probably approve of and a "Blackjack Solo Salami" that is apparently on their lower price lunch menu till 5pm. I enjoy my drink and the view of McGees across the street - A beautiful Vicotorian that has a bar on the bottom floor. Between looking at McGees bar across and the bartender tossing the drink in the air Im at the peak of wanting a beer. There is no way a certified alcoholic could leave here sober. I'm no expert on pizza ovens but I think this is a really high end one based primarily on how quickly my pizza was gotten to me. I know the best pizza ovens are super hot and cook in a few minutes. I ordered my pizza at a few minutes before 5pm and got it maybe 10 minutes later which was appreciated. I'm always in a hurry. One of my favorite places is Greens and Grains next door primarily because I can eat fast and run. My first slice was awesome. Really great - the salami was curled up on the edges and I noticed a few big bubbles in the super thin crust - the bubbly crust look I am a sucker for... My second slice seemed overly salty - must have come from a generous helping of olives?? With every slice my satisfaction plummeting quickly. My third slice was soggy...??? This was the mystery. Where did this soggy bottom come from? The crime had been committed all that was left to do was find the smoking gun, point fingers and assign blame. Was it me drooling all over?? Nope, I only do that at Tony's Pizza in the city... Maybe at Mozzeria in the mission too... Was it the steam coming from the pizza dough??? Was it the abundance of olives that oozed water from when they were cooked??? I'm not sure its a mystery. I do think this pizza would have been drastically better in a to go cardboard box. Cardboard would absorb the moisture like a good diaper. Last time I went to Chuck E Cheese I noticed an innovative serving platter that served the purpose of a cooling rack like in a bakery. The serving pan must have been different than the pan it got baked in but the purpose of it was to minimize contact with dough to pan to prevent a soggy bottom. Mayfield Bakery and Cafe in Palo Alto has a plastic insert too - see my photo I am spoiled I have to admit. At this point I've had all the best pizzas in The City. I even prefer Firetrail Pizza in the city at the food park and that is just a food truck. I think most people who have not had Tony's would rate this as a 5 star and I suppose I could say this is the best pizza for sure in the neighborhood and a super value. I think if I were you I would order a plain cheese pizza. The way the chef chooses to pair toppings is not like at Mozzeria or Tony's just judging from my one pizza trail. At those places you can order anything and it will be well balanced. I would pair your plain cheese pizza with some beer or any other drink recommended by the bartenders. Furthermore, I would say half of one "solo" size is plenty for any one person. I ate 80% of it on my own and it sat heavy for hours after. Have half a plain pizza and a salad and some alcohol and this would be a great 5 star outing without a doubt. Additional takeaway: I am more impressed with the blueberry burger down the road at Scolaries and the almond croissant at the bakery next door, Crispian. Also, don't get too drunk here... The winning dish and what brought me here was the vermicelli. The bf and I decided to go with a half order ($12) since there were other items on the menu he wanted to try. The half order was perfect as an appetizer. The vermicelli was delicious and addictive. The vermicelli was creamy, placed on top of diced pieces of bacon, and topped with an egg yolk. Delicious! We decided to go with a classic margherita pizza ($15) and add spicy Italian sausage. The crust was thin and had a nice crunch to it. The classic margherita comes topped with tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, and basil. The pizza was good but I do with the tomato sauce was a bit tangier. Note: you're only allowed to add up to three toppings, no more than two of them can be meat. Though I'm not a big raw oyster fan, we did order a few oysters. For $2.50 per oyster, they were a bit on the small side but they tasted very fresh and served with a migonette sauce. As for service, our waiter was friendly but during our meal he didn't check up on us. We had to flag whoever walked by down whenever we needed something. Also, note that upon walking in, the host stand is to your left. When we walked in there were people standing around so we didn't see it. I walked in and informed a waitress standing on the right that I had a reservation. She replied that I had to check in at the host booth and pointed. We walked over and I informed the hostess that we had a reservation. She replied "yeah". I told us our name and the reply was "yeah". She was cold and not friendly. With an attitude like that, she shouldn't be the person to greet customers. WHAT TO KNOW: *Call to make a reservation. We called for same day reservations and wasn't able to get a reservation until 8pm. East End is my favourite pizza spot in Alameda. It's thin crust and you're likely to find more interesting toppings than many other pizza places. They change their specialty pizzas seasonally and the options are always delicious. I've never sat down in the restaurant, relying mainly on delivery, but even delivered it's high quality food. The garlic knots are to die for and the salads are also really good. Do believe them when they say their style of pizza isn't treated well by pizza boxes etc. If you have the option to reheat at home they allow you to ask for the pie un-sliced, which makes the reheating and serving process a lot easier. read more

Ok been coming here for a year or so, about once month give or take, and after reading some these fore lock pulling, round table loving, prehistoric cocktail patrons, I felt it was time for me to put .02 cents in. First off we road trip up here from Castro Valley & its worth every bit of carbon based fuel, consumed to get my Diablita with pepperoni & a ice cold IPA from one of our local brewery's. The aroma is enough make you want more & more, but don't worry your palate will be satisfied beyond your exceptions, well only if you enjoy complex flavors & wonderful textures. The space is awesome, inviting, good for groups or just the 2 of us, music is awesome, right in my wheell house. Service I will be honest, early on it was hit or miss, but I am happy to report those issues seem long in the past. We are at the point, when our server see's us, he just confirms our order that he knows by heart, this is the kinda service that earns a 25% tip. We came on a double date here last night and were seriously impressed. I called 45 minutes in advance and was able to get a table for four. Parking was easy - there was a lot right next-door and we were lucky enough to score a spot. It was free. When we got there, our table was immediately ready. I totally loved the vintage decor and lots of natural light. We started with the fries and romaine salad. I absolutely loved the romaine salad. It was about 6 pieces of large romaine with fried capers and really tiny herb croutons which were so freaking delicious. We had it with the champagne Dijon vinaigrette since I'm vegetarian but you can also get it with an anchovy dressing. We also had the supreme pizza. All of their pizzas are thin crust and super crispy which I really like. I liked that the supreme pizza was a veggie pizza but instead of normal red or white onions, they used spring green onions. They added a unique touch to a traditional vegetarian pie. Oh and I can't forget - I had the lavender lemonade (non alcoholic) which was so refreshing. OMG! It was so freaking good. I asked how they made it and they said that they infused simple syrup with lavender and then added lemon and water. OMG. Simply divine. Upon arrival, we were given the choice of bar seating or table, and we opted for the bar for fast service since we are trying to catch our movie in a bit. We ordered a dozen oysters, the impossible burger and two drinks. I think this place makes THE BEST version of the impossible burger. (I had a couple from different places.) Oyster were good, but not great. Service was fast and friendly. This is a 3.5 star review rounded up to a 4 star. There's really no reason for it not to be a solid 4 stars, other than the fact that I didn't really love it enough to consider myself a "fan." That being said, there was nothing wrong with my dining experience- I just was slightly underwhelmed. This is a cute restaurant, low lighting, casual, yet not too casual. Our service was pleasant and friendly. They've got an extensive list of craft cocktails with very effusive descriptions. My husband and I frequent the Alameda Marketplace "food court" for fried chicken sandwiches at Culina, sashimi at Sushi King, and macarons at Feel Good Bakery. So when we noticed that East End Pizza was coming soon, we were very much looking forward to trying it. Finally got around to getting a couple slices this afternoon and I must say, they've definitely lived up to expectations. My husband and I both tried a slice of the Diablita...pepperoni, goat cheese, chiles, and garlic. Who could resist? Plus, the name alone sounded pretty cool. :) My first bite was an experience. Hot, melty, spicy, crispy, and creamy. The delicate, thin crust had a light crunch to the bite and all the fresh, flavorful ingredients blended perfectly to form a sublime taste. A world of a difference from the greasy, doughy pizza I'm accustomed to eating every so often. Is it possible that pizza can be elegant and sophisticated? Wow, talk about stumbling upon a gem in Alameda of all places! After checking out Alameda Island Brewing right across the end, the food and interior caught the eye of me and my family. Focusing on wood-fired pizzas, the menu otherwise entailed a well-sorted selection of cheese, charcuterie, small plates, pasta and proteins. We picked up the Smokestack with bacon and it was absolutely delicious - straight out of the oven and loaded with earthy, savory goodness atop a paper-thin crust that I imagine would prompt a nod even from NYC and Brooklyn natives. For accompaniments, we also enjoyed the chili glazed chicken wings (full wings, plenty spicy) and al dente ribbon pasta that while tasty, could have afforded to be a bit larger in portion. Moving to libations, I was impressed right away by the creativity in the signature concoctions. The Porch Swing was complex yet very approachable in its earl grey tea notes that balanced out the base bourbon. I loved my Rusty Jade as well, a most welcome twist on the classic Gimlet that provided more depth from the oak barrel aged gin along with subtle hints of jasmine. A barrel-aging program was present in the form of a Boulevardier and Vieux Carre using 1776 rye, both excellent classics and worth trying on a return visit to explore the effects of the aging process. To round out the food & drink, our server was on point and did a wonderful job of accommodating us throughout our meal. And as I alluded to earlier, the atmosphere is dark, comfortable and cozy...perfect for an outing with friends or a date. read more

Picked up pizzas to go while visiting some friends in the area. Had we been able to sit down at the restaurant and enjoy them while they were fresh out of the oven, I would definitely have enjoyed the pizza more. As it was, the pizzas are very thin crust, they offer unique toppings, and their specialty pizzas are worthy of a trip back. We ordered the Magic Carpet (bechamel sauce, cave aged gruyere, seasonal mushrooms, roasted garlic, fresh herbs, $19, large) and our friends ordered the Bianca (olive oil, fresh mozz, garlic confit, fresh herbs, $15, large). Their bar is fully stocked and visually stunning. Looks like GIN is IN in Alameda. I'd love to have a Hendrick's and cucumber, or a dirty martini next time we go back. Kids are not allowed to sit at the bar, even if you're ordering food. Weird. And kinda lame. Service was flighty. There was no one there. We called ahead and had to call 3 times before someone actually answered the phone. I had this imagine in my head of this place being busybusybusy. Finally got through, ordered the pizzas, and we arrived sooner than we expected. Husband was told his pizza would be out in a second. When she handed it to him, he asked, "Where's the other one?" Been here a couple of times, food is just decent. The pizza is edible but incredibly greasy and the crust can't support all the moisture. Last time it was undercooked. Impossible burger crumbled and fell apart-I've had it at a few other restaurants and it's been great so must be the preparation. The fries and "lemon anchovy" salad are probably the best things on the menu. The service is hipster-y and pretentious but not awful. Overall I don't think it's worth going back; for the prices they charge ($70+ for 2 people) and the arrogance of the service staff you would think they'd put more effort into making the food more than just ok. Though I heard good things about East End's pizza, I never had the opportunity to check them out when they were inside the Marketplace. Then the news was that they were going to take over the former corner Ching Hua spot at the Marketplace. So recently we went with some friends to check out East End and their pizzas. Arriving around 6:30, there was a wait for a table. So we opted for seating at the bar. The restaurant has a nice airy, open interior. After ordering our drinks, we place our pizza order: My w and I had the pizza special of the day, which had prosciutto and kale. The pizza had nice quality ingredients but was disappointed in the crust. Felt that it was little bit too limp. I really want to like this place. The pics and review looked great. However, I'm a bit disappointed. Personally, I LOVE when people incorporate eggs in dishes. So I naturally gravitated to the carbonara, which many have documented. It looked amazing when it arrived. However, I will say it def looked better than it tasted. 1. I like vermicelli in general, but not in this dish. It's over cooked and hence has a lot of water in it that really dumb down the flavor. 2. The bacon or pancetta was tiny and underwhelming in proportion to the amount of pasta. 3. Again, it might be the watery feel to it instead of this thick yolky goodness, it tasted like this mixture of water down salty dish that left me unsatisfied. I will say that I'm passing through so it's a small sample of their food. So it's possible they have other dishes I might like. On a positive note, the bartender made a very good dry Dickle rye Manhattan up. Normally a dry Manhattan is with a twist, but I didn't mind the cherry with this rye. My family are avid pizza lovers. We have a couple of places we love in Alameda for different reasons. The wood fired pizzas at East End are really delicious and special. Really love the vegetarian "impossible" sausage topping! Every time I come here to pick up the staff and service is great. My three year old son loves to come with me to pick up because the man at the front always talks to him and this time even gave him a treat for after dinner. We will be back at least once a month! Our favorite pizzas so far have been the Diablo with impossible sausage and the Walking Spanish. YUMMMMMM!! My husband is obsessed with the lemon anchovy dressing that comes with the Romain salad. We've eaten here on the advice of our friend and loved the "Magic Carpet" pizza. As their pizzas are seasonal, we knew we weren't going to be able to have it this time, but were excited to try something new and also check out their new dining area in the Alameda marketplace. We had only seen the old location, but currently it's a nice setup, definitely like a restaurant now instead of their booth/stall inside the marketplace. This time we ordered the "Farmer's Daughter" with Italian Sausage and a side of cauliflower. The pizza was pretty good, although I might have been expecting it to have a little more flavor. It was definitely different to have the squash on my pizza, but it was a good one and we love the dough they use here, how it's thin, yet soft and chewy without being too crispy. The cauliflower was good as well, two different types with a nice garlic flavor. East End can be a little pricey compared to your other pizza places, but it's definitely quality. We'll be excited when the Magic Carpet comes back on the menu, but we'd love to try some of their other pies as well! read more

Wow, pretty good place! It's small, so my group of 6 people had to wait awhile for a table to open up, but once we were seated, everything flowed very nicely. They offer roughly 10 types of pizzas (plus create your own), however, they only offer one size--14 inches. For the six of us, we got three pizzas, and only had one slice left over. We got the magic carpet with bacon, the meateor, and the diablita. The diablita was our table's favorite. The leftover slice was from the magic carpet. They also have a pretty good extensive drink menu, from which I ordered the queen bee. Kind of like a lemon drop but a little more rustic. I liked it. And it was strong! Very nice dinner. read more

Dropped by East End recently for date night after walking by multiple times, curious of what it was and just loving the look of the interior we, my partner and I got a chance to check it out. We originally made reservations for 7pm but, decided to cancel that and just show up when they opened. We were seated after a couple minutes of arriving by the hostess who gave us an option of where to sit (we sat near near the window for some nice lighting). Our server showed up a bit awkwardly but, that's okay. She took our order and delivered our meal promptly. The food: We ordered the Broccolini, Brisaola/Bresaola, small plate Vermicelli, and Mussel. I also ordered two cocktails; Sazerac and Milk Punch. The Broccolini was made deliciously. The frizzled cippolini onions gave a welcoming depth of taste to the broccolini that we never had and the sherry vinaigrette added a nice overall flavor to take the dish to the top. The Brisaola was just amazing. Granted, we had to ask what it was but, reading the description we kind of figured it was like a carpaccio dish (we've never had nor heard of Brisaola before). A delicious aged, air-dried, salted beef topped with arugula, olive oil, and topped off with grated parm cheese. It's just a must to order with all type of "mmm..." and "yum". It's time for our entree, My small plate Vermicelli came in and i immediately realized i should have got the full plate because this portion was too small for me and my hungry appetite, my bad stomach, my fault. The dish is very photogenic mainly because of the egg yolk (gotta do it for the 'gram). The flavors aren't in your face wow but, subtle, kind of delicate taste that i really enjoy after these dynamite of flavors from the appetizers. You can taste the richness from the egg yolk, sharpness from the cheese all blended together gently with the chewiness of the vermicelli and olive oil. It'll definitely leave you wanting more. The mussels were a bit of a disappointment. Not quality-wise because the mussels were plump and meaty. The sauce however, i feel the chef's need to re-look at the ingredients of this dish. The smell was not appetizing nor flavor for the sauce these delicious meaty mussels were in. We questioned ourselves a couple of times wondering if the mussels were bad but, they weren't it was just the sauce that these mussels were bathing in. The cocktails; The Milk punch sounded super deadly with all the ingredients that were listed on the menu but, it's not. it's very light and tasted like a Yakult drink. The sazerac was also well done but came after i've finished my meal (took a while to make but, i dont rush good cocktails). End food review. The food for the most part were delicious and the cocktails are unique and equally as good. The service we got was a tad slow compared to other servers that were working that night. I'd come back to try the pizza and the happy hour dollar oysters. I'd give this place more of a 3.5-3.75 star rating than a 3 read more

What can I say? I don't like pizza so I'm not here to comment on that. Plus there's already a gazillion photos and reviews of it here on yelp. I'm here to talk about their fabulous ribeye. Wow. That's steak done right. Very juicy and cooked to medium rare the way I asked it. Even the veggies with it are delectable and goes very well with the steak. To top it off, our bartender was knowledgeable, attentive, and friendly. My favorite cocktail: "When I was a robber...". Yes, that's the name of it. It consists of American Michter's Rye, noccino, cardamaro, orgeat, and it is one hell of a combo. It's sweet and smooth with a soft whiskey jab. Went here last weekend thinking it was a new place, but when I arrived, I realized I had been there before. Wood Fire Pizza is what we had last time and it was great. This time we had a white bean soup that was DELISH... we also had a risotto that was also great (Huge hunk of blue cheese that I didn't enjoy... but hubby did) and it was a nice big portion as well. Food was the only saving grace for this restaurant, but I feel I experienced microagression from both the hostess and the server. We entered the restaurant at 9:10 with multiple available tables. We were greeted (that is putting it wayyyyyyyy too nicely) by their hostess. She made me and my party feel as if we were not fully welcomed. From where I was standing those with less melanin were tended to more consistently in a kinder manner... The server took our order and never came back to check on us. I received the pate plate after hot appetizers. Man, I kind of more pissed that I can't talk about the food. Pate, figs, and unevenly sliced baguette crostini, meatballs, and tater tots. They were good. Their ragu was good too. The food was the only reason why I didn't give 1 Star. It's sad that shitty service overshadows the food. read more

It really is a 4.5 in my book but I am stingy with my 5 stars and my money. Pros: Fresh high quality ingredients, crisp light crust, flavors melted together perfectly, friendly owners, unique combinations. Triggered my "mmmm" reflex. Cons: Limited seating in the walking traffic of the Marketplace. Our 14" pizza was $18, which feeds two average eaters perfectly but since it's so yummy, if you go with a big eater, you'll need two pizzas. They only sell pizza by the slice at lunch. East End Pizza is a must eat if you live in or visit Alameda. Hands down best pizza in Alameda. read more

We had a group at six and enjoy the happy hour on Tuesdays for the $1 oysters. Get there early so you can get some...we had a 6:30pm reservation and we were able to order 3 dozen. Enjoyed the tasty Kennebec fries with our beers and ciders. Had the Farmers Market, Margarita and Meatlovers pizzas to round out our dinner. Loved the Farmers Market but slightly too salty. Wish the pizza crusts were thicker to hold up the pizza toppings. Just hate it when the pizza sags. The meat lover was what the men in our group enjoyed. Desserts were satisfactory. read more

East End - Pizza Near Me - Alameda, California

I've been to East End 4 times. Most times, it's been totally fine. I think it's because the other 3 times I was there, it was just me and a friend. Getting a seat at the bar or getting a table when it's just two people makes things a lot easier, of course. Sadly, I have to write about our horrible experience there over the weekend. I know the owners will read this and remember us (unless they really are that unaware of what's happening in their restaurant, which I hope not). We had a reservation for party of 6 on a Saturday night. We were told it would be about 20 minutes as there was a family still finishing up their meal at the table they intended to seat us at. In the meantime, we ordered 3 cocktails from the bar. The general consensus from all was that the drinks were just terrible. My dirty vodka martini on the rocks was, "...the worst cocktail I've ever had." My wife questioned whether there was actually any alcohol in her cocktail. Anyway, we eventually got seated 50 minutes after our reservation time. I'm probably more surprised that we waited that long, especially with 3 kids with us. We get to the table, sit and then we wait. We wait for 10 minutes and we still don't have menus. I stop the bearded server and ask if he knows who our server is supposed to be while also complaining that we haven't been given menus or water or anything. In his best Steven Wright, monotone voice, he says, "Sorry about the wait." We eventually got a server and our food and our wine/beer (never getting cocktails from this place again). The service eventually began to ramp up and meet expectations and I'm really sorry that I had to give such a horrible tip but it was based on the experience in totality. For the length of time that we waited to sit, the horrible drinks, the lack of attention once we sat (I had to get up to ask the hostess for menus after having been sitting there for 10 minutes), I really did expect some sort of, "We're sorry we f*çked up" kind of gesture. (The 'free' fries didn't cut it. We never asked for them. I would prefer a 'free' something for something we actually wanted.) I've really liked all my other experiences there in the past. But, sadly, based on this experience over the weekend, I know we won't ever come back (so I'm sure the owners could care less about my review or my patronage.) read more

Had a terrible experience here with the waitstaff not the food. Their thin crust pizza is delicious, I will not lie. However, on a recent Sunday our experience was annoying to say the least with our server, Beth. It was like dealing with my college RA not someone who was trying to offer good service. When I first entered the establishment Beth said they didn't allow strollers because they present a fire hazard. Fair enough, she whisked the stroller away to the back of the house. Oh btw, it was 3:45PM and the place was totally empty. There was literally just another two top across from us. After ordering three pizzas and two rounds of drinks Beth said, "do you have more people coming?" We we're sitting at an 8 top and I assured her my friends and their kiddos were on the way. Lastly, as we were drinking and waiting on our third pizza our friend entered with food from a to go spot down the road (Monkey king). Ok, I know bringing food from another place is forbidden. But, we are now 8 deep and this lady does not have the plasticity to negotiate the job as server. If she was kind and not so curt about every demand the experience would have gone a lot smoother. Of course she bee lined from across the room and told my friend to put his food away. Sadly, she just wasn't the cool type of laid back courteous person that would thrive in such a roll. So when the third strike hit and she seemed exasperated we booked it for the brewery down the road. When I said I'd take all the pizzas and the one on the way to go she seemed relieved. On a foodie day with friends Miharu O. and Sydney S., we decided to hang out at the Marketplace for a bit and upon seeing the following, wanted to have a slice or two at East End Pizza. The sign read: Today's feature: red sauce, crimini mushroom, baby spinach, fresh mozzarella, ad spicy Calabrian sausage. Interested, we split 2 slices among 3 ppl just to try (the pizza guy behind the counter mentioned he could cut a slice in thirds b/c he has skillz haha). And it left us hungry for more not because of the amount, but because of the combination of fresh ingredients on this pizza. Overall definitely a lighter pizza than I'm used to - thin crust with not too much sauce, but it was something about the mozzarella and mushroom along with the slightly scorched crust that put it way above any of the usual pizza places I go to. I'd recommend whatever the special feature is or go for one of their unique combinations rather than having the usual cheese, pepperoni, or sausage ;) read more

Came here with a company of 5 and we ordered 3 pizzas -- the cheese, farmer's daugher, and the caruso. Of those 3, my favorite was the cheese pizza. Not many places do it as well as this place does. The sauce and cheese were blended in perfect proportions. The farmer's daugher and the caruso lacked the tomato sauce that I loved on the cheese pizza, but they were very good in their own ways, particularly the roasted leek on the caruso pizza. One thing that was common across all 3 pizzas was the incredible thin crust, and the fact that nothing was too oily. Places like Cheeseboard, a solid pizzeria in Berkeley, delivers good pizza, but many times they try too hard and drench their pizza with an olive oil shower which leaves the crust soggy over a short period of time. One of my new favorite pizza places. Highly recommended. read more

I should have done this sooner. East End is a consistent creative go to. I come here often and it's always so good. It is where I suggest newcomers to alameda to come for a great meal. The service is so nice- everyone feels like a local. I just tried the Brussels sprouts- so glad I didn't have to share them since I was waiting for my to go order:) The Diablita pizza better not leave the menu! read more
