Since it's a coffee shop, I'm mainly rating it for the coffee. The breakfast sandwich and açaí bowl were excellent, fresh, and delicious. That is the reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1. I'm a pretty big coffee snob, and so when I walked in and saw a nice La Marzocco machine I was hopeful. But when I saw a bunch of Monin pre-made syrups I started to have doubts. The coffee tasted very watery and burnt, almost like some free coffee they give you at a cheap hotel that you added in 5 creams to make palpable. I don't know if it was the coffee beans themselves or poor puck preparation but this was truly terrible coffee. I had a warm vanilla latte, and it was just warm which I appreciate that they didn't scold the milk but it also wasn't hot enough. There was a lot of foam, and it was not incorporated into the milk which meant the steaming wasn't done properly and so the foam sat on the top instead of being incorporated into the drink. This is probably why it tasted so thin and watery. The Monin vanilla is not a good syrup to begin with, so that further ruined the coffee. The prices are on par with any other coffee shop, but other coffee shops use home made syrups and recipes in order to create unique coffees that taste different than a few Monin pumps I could do at home. I didn't have the heart to tell them in person, but the coffee is just super bad, I threw it away. Sorry to be so harsh, but hopefully this feedback helps them identify what's going on and helps them improve. If all you want is a snack though, the açaí bowl and the breakfast sandwich are awesome! read more

I hate giving this place two stars but I think people need to know what's up when they come here. The place is adorable. Super cute on the inside and out. The reason why I'm giving two stars are for a few reasons: None of the employees are wearing masks. I've only been visiting Destin for 5 days, but everywhere I've gone all employees wear masks. The product. Yikes. Coffee is super dark. So roasty it's really hard to consume. Maybe this is what they're going for? If you're looking for specialty coffee this isn't it. Cappuccino? They don't know what that is. And that's ok! Was not the reason for two stars, but if you have it on your menu your employees should know how to make one. Açaí bowl. Tasted freezer burned and peanut butter basted like Jiff. Everything was super sweet, not the healthy bowl I was expecting to get. The dudes in the kitchen need to come out and teach the girls how to pull an espresso shot. For latte and coffee gurus, east pass is a must on a trip to destin/fort Walton area. After trying several coffee shops in the Destin/FW area, their coffee is definitely the best. The barista recommended the seasonal Salted Honey Latte and it had great flavor! This coffee spot is a hidden gem. It was recommended by someone that I work out with. I had no idea of the location because it's hidden behind the Red Onion restaurant. I ordered the jetty bowl and a dirty chai tea latte. Both were good! Hands down they have the best açaí bowls in the area. And they also roast their own coffee beans. Can't beat that! Let me just take a moment to thank the all women staff of this establishment. Not only were they so sweet, but they were all dressed so cute just to add the extra pizzazz. East Pass has the cutest, "hole in the wall"/modern holistic aesthetic. I so appreciate the milk options, being a moderately dairy-free person. I tried their caramel macchiato with almond milk (2 espresso shots). I'm a frequent Starbucks person back home so I had high expectations. My expectations were exceeded. The drink was strong, but fresh and tasty. It was strong enough to get me through a 7 hour beach day, just to put things in perspective.
