Walked here from our rental while on vacation. It's an interesting location with both the juice cafe and a frozen yogurt shop in the same building. The juice cafe is right by the front door and has a lot of great options. I got the gulf açaí bowl which had a lot of delicious fresh fruit on top. The goji berries were unique and while I don't personally love them it was cool to try something new! My mom got the alive juice and it was really bright and fresh. We got quick service and the worker answered our questions. I'm assuming the owner was there and he also popped in to ask us how our juices were. Are you looking for a smoothie or acai bowl for breakfast? Check out Kwench Cafe. It opens at 8 AM on the weekdays and 9 AM on the weekends. There was a group of us vacationing in Florida looking for a healthy breakfast. We found Kwench on Google. With it being only a 10 minute drive from our condo, we decided to try it out. It was a little difficult to find at first. Just FYI, it is in the back area of a strip mall, not right off the street, and there is plenty of parking. What I noticed first was how clean and fresh it felt when I walked in the door. Very colorful and welcoming. I chose the Berry Blast Smoothie that has banana, blackberry, strawberry, blueberry, raspberry, and coconut water. It was really good and perfect for a quick meal before we played disc golf. I was really glad they used fresh fruit instead of frozen. It really makes a difference in the flavor. read more

Not what I expected. I ordered a smoothie, and it ended up being more of a juice with some fiber. It wasn't cold enough. I also ordered and paid for a large size and got a small. I told the employee and he juiced/blended more to make it a large. The service was OK. Ambiance was actually pretty nice, clean, and spacious. Lastly, it was pretty expensive. Everything was delicious and extremely fresh. There was only one lady working in the shop, but she took care of all of us and made our orders quickly and efficiently. This is place is good, don't get me wrong. The açaí is premade, scooped out of a bucket. The amount of açaí in the bowl was probably 1/4 cup, barely any compared to the fruit and granola. We had the Destin, gulf & tropical açaí bowls. read more

Giving this place 3 stars because of the service. The items here are really good, it's just unfortunate that the service is sub par. The girl with dark hair just stared at me with out saying hello or acknowledging. The guy was a little nicer. I could make many assumptions but I will not maybe she was having a bad day. If you want literally any support you need to fix your prices. Progressively over the years the açai bowls have gone from about $10 to now over $14!! You have betters bowls that your competitors. No doubt. But I can not keep paying $3+ more for your acai bowls than East Pass. I don't want to see this business go away. It's great. But the prices are going to push people away. read more

Smoothies are great but customer service can you a lot of work. A juice was prepared not making the modifications requested and the manager refused to remake it at or comp the price. Acai bowls are good but I'd rather go to Smoothie King. Will not do business here anymore. read more

Poor, poor customer service. The girl took our order, didn't tell us the total and just stood there waiting for payment. Ok, no big deal. No multi tasking here as we got to watch her stare at the coffee brewing for several minutes instead of working on any of the other orders. Oh well, I guess. After the long wait and crummy attitude, we just wanted out of there. Instead she still managed to get our order wrong. Eventually, with drinks finally in hand, we left, only to realize on the way home our smoothies were made with warm fruit and ZERO ice. What a joke. All things considered, I would avoid this place completely based on our experience. read more

One of the BEST açaí bowls I've ever had! Stopped in here a few times on a work trip to Destin, FL and I'm so glad that I did! The ingredients are fresh and the shop does not rely on powdered additives like some other smoothie places. On my first time in, I ordered the "Destin Bowl" which included granola, banana, coconut, and strawberries atop an açaí blend with a warm peanut butter drizzle. I was skeptical at first, due to the "açaí sorbet blend" description under the bowl, but the "açaí sorbet blend" is just a pure açaí blend. It stayed frozen for the entire time that it took me to eat it, which is a rarity. Most bowls melt into a soup before you reach the halfway mark. Additionally, the warm peanut butter drizzle was life-changing! I've been to several smoothie bowl places and have never had a warmed nut butter drizzle before! I wish I had pictures to post, but I devoured the bowl before taking any. I also ordered the "Berry Blast" smoothie with coconut water, strawberries, banana, blueberry, blackberries, and raspberries on another visit the same week. The smoothie was so refreshing and hydrating - my only regret was not ordering a larger size! Because I visited during the off-season (late fall), there was only one person working at the store each time. Since everything is made to order, and the servers take care in giving each customer the best possible product, there can be a little bit of a wait if the line is more than two groups deep. Keep in mind if you're in a rush, though I'm sure it is different during the summer! read more

My friend and I were staying in Destin, and we were looking for a smoothie place after sitting out on the beach. We saw this place and it seemed to have good reviews, so we gave it a try. Firstly, the service was certainly slow. The girl working made only one product at a time. When we finally ordered ~20 later, we received our smoothies and they were watery and warm. We gave them a try, and they were unbelievably distasteful. They were so bad. Awful. I have never written a review before on Yelp, but I feel I need to share this experience to guide others looking for a smoothie in Destin. We couldn't hardly drink two sips, we immediately threw them away, wasting nearly $10 each. In fact, we had to go through McDonalds drive-thru to get another drink in order to get the foul smoothie taste out of our mouths. They were bitter, sour almost, warm, and had this weird undesirable taste of orange rind. Both of our smoothies had oranges as an ingredient, and we believe she juiced the entire orange, rind and seeds and all, into our smoothies. It was inedible. No hate to this cafe, we did not try their açaí bowls or any other products. However, as far as smoothies and quick service goes, this is not your place. read more
