So much flavor and perfectly balanced. The staff were friendly, helpful, and polite. It's a no-frills spot, but that's part of the charm. You can get the dogs boiled or grilled. Definitely go with boiled. A GREAT meal, zero fuss. I'll absolutely be back.

I got my food within 2-3 min of walking in but sat while 3 other customers in the same check in spot as me were served. I think it's because i'm black and the name on the order clearly belongs to an african american, 3 customers some i even arrived before were served and my food was sat out & ready when i went in. On a recent Sunday afternoon we were passing through Indianapolis looking for a place to have lunch…read morethat we don't have at home (Louisville) and I said to the wife, I said "Hey, can you see if there's a Jack in the Box we can have lunch at in Indi"?, to which she replied "That sounds good, let me check!". She found one right off if I-70, so I told my car to navigate me there (My car can do that) and in 10 minutes arrived at the Post Rd location. This location is right off of the expressway and it's very easy to find. It was about 1:30pm, so we fortunately missed the lunch rush. Before we even walked in I knew what I wanted, and that was those outstanding Jack in the Box tacos. We were second in line behind a small family, so that gave us enough time to look at the menu (although I didn't need to because: TACOS). As we stood there waiting to place our order with the cashier (notice that I said with a cashier and not on an impersonal freakin' kiosk like a boatload of other fast food eateries any more?) I saw a sign touting the Monster Taco, only available for a limited time? What's better than a Jack in the Box Taco? A Jack in the box MONSTER Taco! Yes, please, I'll take two! (for $3, by the way). Wifey had a burger or something...I was too busy being excited about getting Dem Tacos! The restaurant was clean and well-stocked when we arrived, aside from the drink station with, let's face it, is trashed in just about any fast food restaurant. The floors were clean, trash wasn't overflowing, and all the tables were clean. My wife's whatever-it-was burger was good (by her account). The Monster Tacos were very much worth taking a short detour off of I-65. I had the Angry Monster and the Regular Monster. The Angry Monster had a red taco shell and a spicier sauce..and I Liked It! The staff we encountered (cashier, primarily) was very nice and helpful. For the most part the staff was busy taking care of things, but during the 45 or so minutes of our stay, no one came out to take care of the dining room. Now that we know there's a Jack in the Box easily accessible during our trips to Ft Wayne and back...TACOS!

One time I waited as long as 10 only to find out that those inside were just simply not doing their job. No rush inside either. No apology and despite being one of two customers I still waited yet another ten minutes to make my order. And they had like four people rushing about and no one else in the drive-through. To add injury to insult it was only 6, maybe 7 in the evening. So its not like it was 3 Am with the skeleton crew. Avoid this one if you can. I just wish there was a better McD's near my house for when I get those occasional cravings.
