We ended ordering dinner in the restaurant since it's connected to the store. First experience was good and the other times we went to eat. But we took a couple months of just to save money. But craving came and we chose to go to EastWest Junction again. But let me say it was all changed to new cook and waiter. I saw someone eating a burger from here so I decided to give it a shot due to the size of the burger...boy did I make a mistake. The burger bun was stale, the meat was dry and over spiced! It costed me $20 for two burgers and two potato wedges and wow I don't mind overpaying but the food should be good. After looking over their menu, I ordered the #1, to-go which included Chicken Kabob with basmati rice, salad, naan and channa! I was surprised all this food was only 8.99. The rice was fragrant and buttery good. The spicy lamb curry was delicious, it have heat and very flavorful. The lamb was soft and spices wasn't to strong but just perfect on point. The naan was also very delicious. It was fresh soft in the inside and crispy on the outside. We had so much rice didn't know where the extra bowl of rice came from lol. Un-freaking-believably GOOD!!!!!!!!! The moment you step into the restaurant, the intoxicating scent of grilled marinated meats hits you, and BAM, you know you're in the right place! There was a good selection of set meals that include rice, naan and daal to go with your choice of meat (kebobs, curry, tandoori, etc) or vegetarian curry. I ordered the tandoori chicken and it was nicely marinated but the best part of the meal was the RICE!!! It's incredibly different from the typical basmati rice you get in other Indian restaurants, they add other herbs and spices in it too so there's this beautiful flavor to it. My friend ordered goat curry (yes they have goat meat!) and she really enjoyed it too. We shared the samosas. It's filled with sweet potato and it was SO good!!! I didn't think I would like it as much as the regular samosas but I loved it! There's an adjoining grocery store and they sell all kinds of Middle Eastern groceries but it closed before we finished our dinner (it closes at 7 on Friday nights).
