And I cannot leave out Joy, Brian, and Joe from leasing office too--they make living here so fun with all the events and care they put into the community!! Neighbors are friendly too, we actually hang around the pool in the summertime & do house parties every now & then. Love that they also have lockers for packages because I've had packages stolen before other places I've lived & now I don't have to worry about that. I also feel super safe with all the security patrolling the property. The only downside to this property is it's noisy if you live on the DART + dog park side. My neighbors across the hall told me their side is quiet & fortunately, transfers are easy so I'm moving to that side before my lease is even up - love how flexible the leasing agents are! :) This is THE best place to live in Dallas & I'm so glad I chose Lofts at Mockingbird Station for my home. I literally NEVER want to live anywhere else; moved in in 2018, already renewed through 2021! :)

I have lived here for over four years, since 2021. And let me tell you: it's been downhill for the…read morepast year or two in a shocking way. The experience at this property has deteriorated so dramatically, It's a wonder I haven't brought legal action against them, and I reserve the option to do so. Here's a partial list: 1. The fire alarms went off constantly - often in the middle of the night for a while - I'm talking well over six months in a row. No solution whatsoever. The fire alarms are less frequent now, but they absolutely happen and it's an ear-splitting experience. Good luck working from home. 2. An outside contractor used their master key fob to enter my apartment and go through my stuff. I was working from home and heard them, and when I came out he ran away leaving a mess behind. I spoke to the manager about this and she admitted that yes, a contractor used the key to get in, but it isn't their fault. "We apologize for the incovenience." I came very close to suing them and filing a police report, but got busy with other things. I still have everything documented, however. 3. The elevator has been broken for over half of the current lease term (for the past year). I personally use the stairs despite living on the 6th floor, and don't like elevators... but to those who do use the elevator, 10+ minute waits with crowds waiting to use the elevator are the norm during peak hours. Just to get in or leave one's home. 4. The trash pickup is unreliable. On many weeks, the trash pickup skips a day, and that means neighbors' trash is left out, creating an epic stink in the corridors. I simply take my trash to the trash chute and don't use the trash service. But others do, and that means trash left out overnight in the heat. And the manager's response is to scold the residents + threaten fines rather than fix the problem. Really? 5. I rarely ever request maintenance. Once can check my maintenance log to see for themselves. However, when the Air Conditioner stopped working in 104 degree weather, it took four days to get a fix. Four days. In the meantime, a technician dropped off a portable air conditioner that broke almost immediately and filled the room with hot air. Really!?!? 6. My packages routinely disappear. And if I take more than 2 or 3 days to pick them up, they get sent back... except Amazon or the shipper never receives the returned package. I wonder where it actually ended up? 7. Need to call the management? Enjoy the menus. I haven't gotten through to anyone in weeks - just menus and off-site call centers. 8. When they sent the recent lease renewal letter, they quoted a price that was WAY above the market rent. I said "no thanks" and then saw my apartment listed on their website for around 20% less than what they quoted an existing long-time resident. Way to treat your customers. When I move out, I'll be keeping an eye on any exploitative behavior. Because I have been here for 4 - 5 years, the carpet and many other components fall under 100% wear & tear (according to standards and the lease itself). If I see any attempt to charge for any of it when I move out (it will be documented with timestamped and location-stamped video), I will nail them with a lawsuit for 3x damages and legal fees. I can't wait. Because based on what I've heard from neighbors, there seems to be a pattern of charging outrageous fees to those who move out based on make-believe damage, when the wear & tear standards are clear, especially when one has lived there for 4 or 5 years. I should have bought legal action against them long ago, but I have given them the benefit of the doubt. Now I know better. The list above isn't even a full list, so you can imagine.

This place was 100% the perfect choice for me. The location of the complex is perfection. We are inside of the Dallas Farmer's Market (not beside it, not near it, in it) which affords us the privilege of having fresh fruits, vegetables, flowers, home cooked foods from our local vendors, restaurants, live music and shopping all within literal steps of our home. Many of these vendors even give us a little discount for patronizing. This area is also very near Downtown, Deep Ellum, Uptown, Oak Lawn, The Arts, etc. The apartments themselves are beautifully appointed. Classic minimalist white with modern finishings in the kitchen, including stainless appliances, and water/ice in the door fridge. Dark brown wood grain cabinets in the bathroom again with modern brushed nickel finishings. The ample storage space in the closet, bathroom and especially kitchen is beyond anything you will find in the area. I moved from a 3/2 home, 1600+ sq ft, with a garage and backyard and there are some cabinets that I do not even use right now. It's shocking how well thought out storage was in the design. Each apartment has at least one entire wall of windows with differing views available. I've never once heard talking, yelling, music or noise of any kind coming from other apartments. My apartment came with a brand new stackable washer/dryer at no additional expense. This complex features a 2-story, state of the art, gym with all the machines, plus free weighs and an appropriate amount of space to work out in. The pool is beautiful with many areas that are designed for laying out in the water or sitting. Also, this complex has very few children, it's more of an adult area and doesn't have a lot of the child friendly amenities. We have a lovely dog park instead!! There are lots of young professionals and opportunities to pet the doggies as we all move throughout our days. The thing that really sold me on this place was the staff! They are all beautiful souls, so considerate and truly caring. In the "big city" it's easy for people to feel disconnected or feel lost among the hustle, but not here. All of the staff know your name, they know when they haven't seen you and will sometimes check in on you. If you're new to the area they make themselves available to point you in the right direction of groceries or anything else that you may need. They are always glad to see EVERYONE, the service definitely doesn't stop after the sell! The residents are also friendly but without being in your business. Right now most residents seem to be keeping to their little pods for safety reasons but again, no resident has ever not had time to answer a question or to say hello. Everyone tends to take your lead and they always let you pet their dogs!! Hopefully my new neighbor is reading this! Don't be shy when you move in, I can tell you all the great places near us!

It was a mess and definitely needed attention. Cesar came in and did an **awesome job** cleaning the hallway. The MARKET: this is definitely the place to be at if you're someone who likes to be able to step outside your building and go check out the different vendors at the market every weekend. There's always something happening at the market, they host all sorts of events and it's always a cool friendly atmosphere! Aside from that, they have permanent restaurants inside and a bunch of little shops! Parking does get a little crazy sometimes. The LOFTS: When it comes to the actual "lofts" they have really good spacious floor plans, and the units are lovely and modern. They have a Nest and a Ring Doorbell in every unit! Their balcony has a pretty good view of downtown Dallas and it faces the townhomes across the street, so it's a very homey feeling. Their gym is two levels and faces the pool, it's very well equipped and it's located at Harvest Lofts. I feel like I was lucky, I didn't experience any loud noises or anything like that, my neighbors were all very friendly and polite. Honestly we only moved because we bought a house, if not we would still be there. Management is responsive, friendly and polite. Sam Is my favorite leasing agent ever!!! He honestly became our friend! He was always happy to help us with everything and made our moving process so smooth! If you're planning on leasing here, go see him!

It was moldy, loud, dirty, had horrible management, and yet was still relatively expensive. A sleeping bag on the side of the road would have been a better sleeping arrangement. I'm only a month in but I can see that this place meets everything that you'd want in an apartment. It's clean, smells good, has quiet neighbors, and everyone is super friendly. Gym is clean and pretty decent for an apartment gym. Jackie is a super hard worker at the front desk and updates the residents constantly with helpful information. To top it off, I think the price is pretty good for the quality your getting. We toured some pretty pretentious places around Knox street that were unnecessarily overpriced; The pompous residents reflected the price. The culture at Uptown at Cole Park is young, well mannered, working class individuals. Overall, I recommend this apartment.

Next day we went to the leasing office and Deanne was super friendly and provided us with refreshments... we gave her an idea on what type of apartment we were interested in, she had a couple apartments for us to view. She was able to help us find the best apartment based on our criteria... the application process went smooth, we didn't have to jump through Hula hoops.... We we wanted to start the lease about a month and a 1/2 from our application and was able to do so... We signed the lease for MAY 9 2020 when me and my Husband arrived back in Dallas from San Diego Deanne and Shelley made the transition so smooth from the time we applied in March all the way to move in date... everything in the apartment was spotless and working properly... Updated cabinets and granite counter-tops, crown molding, wooden shutters, ceiling fans, etc. There is even a "virtual concierge" now so you can pick up your packages even when the office is closed. Love that is VERY dog friendly - and have met some really nice new friends via walking our dogs. The property is very well maintained, and any maintenance request I turn in is acknowledge within 24 hours, and then we set up a time that works for both of us. The maintenance crew is excellent. The ladies in the leasing office have been wonderful to work with. I just renewed for another 13 months!
