I moved here about a few months ago from New York City because I wanted to experience Dallas and I have made the best decision living here at Harvest Lofts. It is an absolute dream since I've moved in. The management team is so helpful. They keep this place running so smoothly and I appreciate all their efforts. Maintenance has always been awful for me in the past but it is SO EASY and QUICK here at Harvest. I appreciate that so much. I feel cared for and acknowledged as a resident and that's exactly what I was looking for. Harvest is located in such a beautiful area (literally right next to Farmer's Market and the Food Hall) so when you want to bring friends around, there is always a fun place to hang on the weekends. The neighbors here are quiet but sweet and they all have such cute dogs!!! In terms of parking, the garage is so convenient for me and for any guests who come over. The apartment space is beautiful. I got a one-bedroom and I can truly say I have been the happiest in my life here in Dallas! I love it so much, I'm staying here another year before I head back to NYC! I lived at this apartment complex for 1.5 years and absolutely loved the amenities, high ceilings and finishes of the apartments and also proximity of Farmers Market. Unfortunately due to Covid situation I had to move out. I cant say enough great things about Sam the leasing manager He was absolutely a highlight of my experience during my tenancy at Harvest lofts. First of all, The staff was amazing here. So helpful and so accommodating. I loved them. The apartment itself was so badly constructed that I needed to break my lease and leave after only 5 months. The floor had huge divots in it, that cause me to injure my back with the unexpected elevation changes. The AC and heating were so badly broken that it would run non stop, jacking up my electric bills, it took over 7 repair visits to get it into roughly working order. It leaked and they stuffed my bath towels into the HVAC closet to keep the water to a minimum. They replaced the thermostat over 5 times. When the HVAC unit was working properly, it rattled the door so loudly that I needed to stuff a brochure into the door to keep it from rattling. This was ignored every time they went to fix the unit. The doors are so thin and cheap that they might as well not be there as far as sound dampening goes. There are parts missing from the refrigerator. I honestly could not keep up with the amount of repairs that were needed to keep the place in basic order. For over $3000 a month in rent, this is completely unacceptable. They charged me the $2000 fee for breaking the lease, even though I tried to come to a good faith accommodation on this. Its really unfortunate, because I like the area and the people, as mentioned. But for the rent, the apartment is unlivable. read more

I cannot say enough good things about my new home! In my search I viewed over ten complexes within the Farmer's Market, Downtown, The Arts and Ross Ave areas. This place was 100% the perfect choice for me. The location of the complex is perfection. We are inside of the Dallas Farmer's Market (not beside it, not near it, in it) which affords us the privilege of having fresh fruits, vegetables, flowers, home cooked foods from our local vendors, restaurants, live music and shopping all within literal steps of our home. Many of these vendors even give us a little discount for patronizing. This area is also very near Downtown, Deep Ellum, Uptown, Oak Lawn, The Arts, etc. The apartments themselves are beautifully appointed. Classic minimalist white with modern finishings in the kitchen, including stainless appliances, and water/ice in the door fridge. Dark brown wood grain cabinets in the bathroom again with modern brushed nickel finishings. The ample storage space in the closet, bathroom and especially kitchen is beyond anything you will find in the area. I moved from a 3/2 home, 1600+ sq ft, with a garage and backyard and there are some cabinets that I do not even use right now. It's shocking how well thought out storage was in the design. Each apartment has at least one entire wall of windows with differing views available. I've never once heard talking, yelling, music or noise of any kind coming from other apartments. My apartment came with a brand new stackable washer/dryer at no additional expense. This complex features a 2-story, state of the art, gym with all the machines, plus free weighs and an appropriate amount of space to work out in. The pool is beautiful with many areas that are designed for laying out in the water or sitting. Also, this complex has very few children, it's more of an adult area and doesn't have a lot of the child friendly amenities. We have a lovely dog park instead!! There are lots of young professionals and opportunities to pet the doggies as we all move throughout our days. The thing that really sold me on this place was the staff! They are all beautiful souls, so considerate and truly caring. In the "big city" it's easy for people to feel disconnected or feel lost among the hustle, but not here. All of the staff know your name, they know when they haven't seen you and will sometimes check in on you. If you're new to the area they make themselves available to point you in the right direction of groceries or anything else that you may need. They are always glad to see EVERYONE, the service definitely doesn't stop after the sell! The residents are also friendly but without being in your business. Right now most residents seem to be keeping to their little pods for safety reasons but again, no resident has ever not had time to answer a question or to say hello. Everyone tends to take your lead and they always let you pet their dogs!! Hopefully my new neighbor is reading this! Do not live here. If you are moving to Dallas, please know there are many areas (and apartment complexes) where you can live, but this should not be one. Save yourself the irritation of having to deal with condescending, unresponsive, and unprofessional people by finding a place that doesn't take advantage of you. As a Harvest Loft resident for over 2.5 years, I had little to no complaints about this complex until I sent the required move-out notice. From that moment, I have dealt with nothing but rude and unaccommodating staff, miscellaneous move-out roadblocks and uncommunicated fees. Below are just a few of the hardships that were encountered: Understanding service elevators need to be booked in advance, I confirmed via email with the staff at the leasing office the date (and time) I would be moving out. When there was no acknowledgment of this communication, I called to confirm the email was received. At that time, the leasing office informed me that I could not move out on that date/time because of road closures associated with an event happening at the Farmers Market (the event was happening on Saturday, but the roads were closed all day Friday). This communication was never distributed to the residents at the Harvest Lofts, and this delayed communication cost me change fees with my movers as well as an inconvenience at my place of work, as I had taken off weeks in advance. After paying the pro-rated rent (since my 60-day notice was delayed, something that I take responsibility for), I was hit not only with pro-rated fees for my initial contract, but also with month-to-month pro-rated charges for both rent, trash and water. When I called to ask the leasing office about these charges (specifically, why I was being charged for something that had never been communicated to me), they didn't return my call, applying multiple late fees to my balance. When I saw this on my account, I called back to gain a better understanding as to what these charges were and was greeted with one of the most rude interactions I have ever experienced from the Business Office Manager. Rather than being helpful and professional, this staff member was condescending and extremely unhelpful. I've never been spoke to so rudely by any business in my life. Ever. read more

They made up frivolous fees to rip me off on top of stealing my security deposit. I provided the documents below. They charged me $120 for painting a cabinet that had unopened tea bags as one of their fee. Please view it on photos. I'm sharing to to help as many people to be informed. You have an 80% chance of this happening to you especially as a black tenant like me. This place is a total cash crab, besides multiple unlawful entries into my then apartment unit. Homeless Patreons gain access to the so called "secured facility" by coming in and out of the building throughout the day and night. Gun shots are heard every week and there's disclosures of people getting killed. You can check the reports with the Dallas police department. Tell them to run the homicide report within 0.1 mile radius of the Harvest Lofts. This was very scary for me as a single black female new to Texas and not know anybody. I was also sexually harassed and violated by one of their key player "rental account manager." I did not know apartments leases comes with unsolicited D. They charge $25 a month for trash pick up but the trash pick was never consistent. Stay clear from this place especially if you are black. There were racial experiences by other x tenants. I wish I saw their experience prior to moving here. DO NOT DO !T please safe yourself the this type of bad luck. Go move elsewhere. read more

My boyfriend lived here for a year and a half. I visited him often and was impressed with how clean and secure the complex is. Neighbors are all very welcoming and it is a friendly area. The only downside was finding parking on the weekends for me and being mindful of how long my car was in the garage so there wouldn't be fine's. But besides that, missing harvest so much already! i give this place 1 star because it looks nice on the outside. i came by twice and they said they were too busy to show me anything. There was 2 agents when i was there. One agent said i cant help him. So the secretary took my number down. And said he will call you. ok The 2nd time i went there, i walked in and both agents and the secretary were in an office for atleast 10minutes look at me and didnt asked if i needed any help until they finished talking in their office. The secretary came out and said i can take your number and someone will call you. I told her ya'll said that last time and never called me. I said i would like to see the apt. Loved living at Harvest Lofts, Axam and Sam are the nicest leasing people I have ever met. Also, the cleaning crew, all super friendly, and nice. You can't beat the location with The Farmers Market right outside of your doorstep, plus they put on awesome resident events. The apartments are also beautiful, wish I hadn't had to work so much and had been able to enjoy more of it. Oh, and their own personal dog park, and most residents are also super nice and friendly. Good vibes for sure. Highly recommend. EDIT: I felt compelled to add that the move out process was the polar opposite experience. I won't get into the ugly details of it all, but just pay LOTS of attention and understand EVERY single charge Stehle tries to charge you at move out. Amazing place to live! My husband and I just moved from Florida and we are loving it here. The management team is helpful and welcoming (especially Axam and Sam! ). A lot of events happening in the area. Not to mention that the Dallas Farmer's Market is downstairs every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday! If you like shopping and/or eating, that's also downstairs and not just on the weekends! The Market is open daily and is a must see! read more

I love living here, the leasing agents and manager are fantastic. They always make sure you are happy and go above and beyond to make living here amazing! The area is perfect with the Farmers Market and all the shops and restaurants. There is always something to do and there are always fun events over at the market. I lived here for 2 years. Since there are so many pros from other reviewers, I'll just provide the cons 1) I had a laptop stolen from my car in the parking garage. 2) Washer and dryer are not included. 3) Countless issues with getting packages. I also had problems with packages being left at my door even though I specifically requested the building not to do it, and I even requested Amazon not do it. 4) They sell you on the "Indoor Market" below the building, but most establishments close by 5 or 6 on weekdays, so if you think you will get off work and use it as an "amenity," think again. 5) Parking garage is CRAZY on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays due to Farmers Market traffic. 6) There is no way to let up your guests. You have to go all the way down to physically let them in yourself. The call box only lets them in on the first floor, but they cannot use the elevator (you must have a fob) or they have to use the stairwell and wait in the hot stair well until you can open the door for them. (food deliveries as well) 7) I got a 'notice' because my trash can was outside my door (for valet trash) outside the allotted time window (didn't' come home that day due to uncontrollable circumstances) 8) Only one side of the apartment has balconies. (more of a building complaint; I just don't understand why only 1/4th of the units have them) 9) The swimming pool is in a "courtyard" and loses sun earlier than expected. 10) When I moved out, I was charged for nearly $600 worth of charges. Things like "wipe inside of cabinets - $50", "clean oven - $50", "clean bath tub -$50", "broken drawer in fridge - $50 (it was broken when I moved in)", I was charged for a door due to a door stopper - $250. (note: I had the place professionally cleaned before moving out. Thought this was shitty as I spent $35,000 to live there for just 2 years) 11) Furthermore, when they sent the charges after I moved out, they used a scare tactic and demanded the charges be paid within 7 days even though you legally have 30. I called about this and they did confirm I had 30 days but they said they just tell people 7 in their letter.. so they lie to you. 12) Got a note on my car in the parking garage calling me nasty names because there was trash in the parking spot next to me. It wasn't my trash, and it had been there for at least 3 days, I guess the moral of the story is: don't park next to trash or pick it up... but the trash was nasty AF so I wasn't going to touch it, and it's not really my problem. 13) When you move out, don't expect them to accommodate you. They ask for your "forwarding address" in the event you get any deliveries after your departure (at least that's what I was told). I had an important package delivered there (on accident) after I moved out and they refused to forward it. Apparently, that's only for billing you after you move out. 14) I didn't notice this one till after I moved, but I moved into a new complex with extremely friendly people who are actually social. It made me realize a lot of residents keep to their self at Harvest. 15) I had a security guard come to my door to report a complaint about a crying baby coming from my apartment.. I don't have a child and there was no child in my apt. After talking with him for a bit, he realized he was at the wrong unit number... but that's beside the point, who in their right mind makes a complaint about a baby? 16) I got locked out several times. You basically get 4 keys, none of which go together. i.e one is a fob (makes sense), the next is a key card which is easiest to keep in your wallet (doesn't make sense - it should be kept with key fob as you need both to get inside your unit - never leave without your keys AND wallet), the next is a garage sticker so the gate opens (not sure why the fob can't just open it - if you ever drive a rental or change cars often, this becomes an issue), the fourth is a mail key. 17) Bought a new car and was charge $50 to get a new garage sticker because I was unable to remove it from my old car. For someone who works for a property management company, the staff at Harvest/Taylor lofts is what all property management companies should strive for. They seem nice and flexible but i figured since i couldn't move due to a change in circumstances because of a pandemic they would be a little more understanding. I could not be more impressed with Harvest. I did thorough homework and saw 15+ apartment complex's in Dallas before picking Harvest-- and I'm so glad I did. The location is awesome. There is an up-scale "food court" with probably 15 restaurants inside less than a 30 second walk away which is really convenient, and the farmers market every weekend has been a lot of fun so far. The apartments themselves are very nice, (mine came with all hardwood floors- which isn't very common for apartments), and the staff has been so great. I have mostly encountered Sam, Felicia, and Renee, and they are just all the sweetest people!! They have been so prompt in helping me when needed, and I just truly can't recommend this place enough. read more
