This restaurant is located right at Eastport. We came here for breakfast but ended up getting lunch. There wasn't much selection and wish we came here for dinner instead as they seem to have better food. As you go inside, you're greeted and told that for brunch, the menu is given then you order and pay upfront. You are then given a number and you find your seat. You look at the wall and see the painting of the water reminiscent of Annapolis. As we sat, the seating arrangements were way too close together and I felt claustrophobic. My sister and I ordered burgers as my husband ordered the Banh Mi with fries, salad, and lychee drink. The banh mi was not good at all. It was bland and had no flavor reminiscent of a banh mi as they used pork sausage. The burgers were good and cooked it well as I asked for an over easy egg and a medium well doneness. The lychee drink was flavorful, the salad had no wilted greens, and the fries were crispy just the way we like it. The servers were really nice and helpful. But I do have to take off two stars: one gif the Banh Mi, the other for the cramped space, otherwise it would have been a great experience. read more

It's a true local gem with menu changes to reflect the season and also great flavors of a brilliant pairing of foods. Such a great little gem. EK is owned by a husband and wife team who are still very involved with the day to day operations. It was fun watching them greet and chat with their regulars in this constantly busy little restaurant. I've had the chicken and the egg and a side of fries. We came here for brunch and it was excellent. They went a little heavy on the garlic aoili for my JGL so I cut it in half and gave hubby the messier half. It was otherwise hot and delicious. The only downside is the sandwiches don't come with fries. The avocado toast is great, although their toast to avocado ratio needs some work. The picked onions balance out the richness of the avocado and fried egg perfectly. Hubby got the pancakes and bacon, and boy is it a lot of pancake. I just moved to Eastport and have been eating breakfast at least twice a week at Eastport Kitchen since July. The Florentine toast is fabulous and my friends rave about the CAP SUP burrito. What a little gem we found in Eastport! EVERYthing was fabulous and the service over the top! I had a wonderful salad special...who would think to combine the sweet & salty flavors of summer Peaches, Prosciutto, Arugula and Feta. I wanted two! Then I had the Binky for dinner...yum...house-roasted turkey, avocado, lettuce, Sriracha mayo, but switched the bread to toasted Whole Grain...the Chef said no problem! So delicious! My husband had the Grilled Cheese, the finest comfort food there is! Everything was great! We met the owners, Tony & Celia, who were very visible, making sure every one of their guests were happy. Dined on April 15, 2017 Popped in here a few Saturdays ago to get energized before a long nature walk. Cute, simple decor. The place was full, only one table open. Staff at the counter was very helpful with explaining the menu. I checked out a lot of the food coming out of the kitchen and inquired about each dish. Then I ordered Breakfast Bomb: scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, Carve Master Ham, on a brioche bun. Honestly, it was just okay. Eggs and ham were piled high so the value was there as this sandwich was only $5.50. The bun was mediocre. I also shared a side of breakfast potatoes because a cashier said they were really good and I cannot resist great breakfast potatoes or fries. The breakfast potatoes were ver good! Although they could use 50% less salt. I will definitely visit Eastport Kitchen again and try something different as the breakfast bomb did not rock my world. A cute small place The menu is super unique but really delicious I had their version of a shrimp salad danish wick and loved it. The pasta salad and fries are also to die for. There's something on the menu for almost everyone- lots of vegetarian and healthy options too. We sat down for dinner and had choices of entrees too, there weren't as many options as I would've liked but considering the large sand which menu I'd say it's more of a lunch place anyways. Tried it 4 times. 2 for lunch, 2 for breakfast. Both were identically mediocre. Lunch experience--roast beef on day-old pepperidge farm sesame seed hamburger bun. Dry, just plain blech. Fries were good as was the Diet Coke. If I am going to pay close to $15 for a sandwich and fries, I will likely head to Parole or Downtown and make the trip. Breakfast--their signature "Bomb" sandwich. Greasy, lacking in taste. And this may sound odd, but too much on the sandwich. Too much egg, too much ham. Really not very flavorful. For $5 I'd prefer to get two Croissanwiches from Burger King--seriously. But the Diet Coke was again spot on. But EPK, it will likely do well because of the need in the neighborhood and convenience. There are a lot of residences in the area and a large apartment complex to the rear of their location. Many people will give up quality for convenience. From discussions I have had with other, people either love it or hate it. I fall into the latter. My palate is pretty simple (roast beef sandwich and egg sandwich) but have heard that some of the funkier menu items are good--they just do not appeal to me. You order at the counter, help yourself to drinks and then the wait staff brings your delicious mean to your table. BF and I went for breakfast and it didn't disappoint. He likes a simple breakfast so he got eggs, bacon, potatoes and toast for $5.50. What a deal! For me, I had to try the famous Chicken and the Egg sandwich. It was so good that I don't know if I'll ever order anything differently here. I loved the savory fried chicken breast drizzled with sweet syrup combined with a sunny side up egg. The slightly sweet and soft potato bun encases this sweet and savory goodness so there is no debate whether the chicken or egg goes first in my mouth. This solid lunch spot has recently added dinner service Thursday through Saturday. They feature a changing menu on a monthly basis. Menu is limited to a few items, but covers the most tastes including a vegetarian choice. January features a cioppino that is outstanding, loaded with huge mussels, calamari, large shrimp and an excellent seafood broth. Stopped here today for lunch. Got a local beer, Naptown Ale, which was very nice. Ordered the Binky which was a turkey, cheese, avocado sandwich with a side of kale slaw. I'm not normally a lover of kale but this was really good! The sandwich was also good and so big i ended up taking half home. I had to ask twice for a small container. The place is cozy with maybe 10 tables in total and a counter. You order and then take your number to a table. Food came out pretty fast. It wasn't crowded but I was there after 2 so probably missed the main traffic there. It is only open for breakfast and lunch. All in all, a great place to get a nice lunch. read more

Was looking for a place open on labor day for lunch and we were lucky to stumble upon Eastport Kitchen. I got the bongo burger as a veggie burger and it was really good! No complaints. My husband got the southwest turkey sandwich and he said it was the best turkey sandwich he's had in his life! That's a pretty extreme statement! We also shared the fries which were delicious. This place is a real gem of a find in Eastport - a quick breakfast place, an in-n-out lunch spot, and every meal I've had there has been exceptional! There is relatively little table service - you place your order yourself and find an open table - and the food comes out cooked to order and piping hot. I have grown up going to the constant turnover of restaurants in this location and can assure you this is NOT a flash in the pan. From the updated and comfortable seating to a menu that will make decision time as difficult as it gets. The food is freshly prepared, served with a smile and in proportions that are satisfying but not overwhelming. The roasted beet sandwich (I forget the name) was something different and well worth ordering. Also give their version of an Italian sandwich a try as it is very good as well. Not a large menu or venue, but they have their basics spot on. Extremely clean, very friendly, high quality ingredients, appropriate portion sizes, vegetarian friendly (arugula and sweet potato quinoa medley), hangover friendly (bacon bread pudding), all with an incredibly reasonable price. Probably the best breakfast in Annapolis, both taste and health, that can be had for $5. Maybe anywhere. This is my first review but I felt compelled by the experience to help get this on the radar. I can not believe I never eaten here! Service was Awesome and the food was equally as good maybe better. I use to eat Lunch in the old EP deli. This place has been open 2 year and this was the first time we ate. The have new special menus every month, we had the steamed little necks with toasted bread. It was amazing. This place is seriously a little gem because I have never been disappointed in the food or service. It is a pretty casual restaurant which makes toting a newborn around fairly easy. You order at the counter and then they bring your food out to you. The water, etc. are all self serve. While I've never been disappointed in any of their food, I would highly recommend getting breakfast here as it is the best bang for your buck. Where else can you get a high quality breakfast for less than 6 bucks?! I especially love the avocado toast and eggs any style - simple, well made food.
