Penny the owner was kind enough to honor my gift certificate, something she normally wouldn't do,because it was dated for 2004. I made sure to call in to see if it was still valid. Don't let this small space fool you, Wonderful things come in small packages.Her studio is decorated with Luxurious colors and textures (see pics) Just as Fancy as any upscale commercial salon or spa you might visit, perhaps even more so. I had a signature custom facial and it was Fabulous. She used some of the most wonderfully fragrant aromatherapy products, complete with hand, arm, neck, scalp and shoulder massage too. My my hands and forearms were wrapped in plastic and placed in warming mitts after the massage for the remainder of the facial, I was in heaven! In addition to facials Penny also specializes in permanent make-up procedures,scar camouflaging, corrective permanent make-up procedures, and waxing. As a newbie to any permanent makeup and a tattoo, microblading virgin, I was understandably nervous . There was timely communication from first contact to appointment to confirmation. I knew exactly what to expect with masking and sanitation protocols for our safety throughout. Jane calmed my anxiety by explaining the entire process and each step as she artfully, safely, patiently and with the expertise of a professional in her craft since 1994, executed gorgeous, natural looking brows for me. She started like a Dr with medical history paperwork, taking my whole of humanity into consideration prior to getting into the meat and potatoes of the procedure which I appreciated! Jane assessed my face/canvas and drew what she believed would be beautiful for my structure and let me see for agreement. We proceeded to the microblading process and I feel it couldn't have gone better with knowing which parts would be painful vs rest breaks and the tlc I felt from Jane considering all my allergies and well being. I'm thrilled with the result and excited to see how the artfully crafted brows will look after healed. I had overplucked them in the past and they were uneven and thinned out. Penciling them in hasn't always produced an even well manicured effect. Embarrassing at times. Those worries are now over. I stumbled upon Beauty Blink and was able to easily book an appointment online. When I arrived, I was promptly greeted by the sweetest gal, Marsa, and she had me start filling in some paperwork. Typical intake questions like recent surgeries and ailments and some questions about my hair and scalp and then we headed back to the room. Once I got situated Marsa started with the high frequency wand and some other tools with my hair dry before turning on the nice, warm water and wetting my hair. From there, she used several products and tools, alternating between scalp massage and gentle combing. She also added a steam cap and let my hair steam for a while and there was some wonderful aromatherapy going as well. We ended the service by wrapping my hair in a towel before letting me brush it out in a separate little room. I had the option to blow dry my hair if I wanted but I chose to leave with wet hair so it could air dry. Overall, this was a very very relaxing way to spend the evening, the process was amazing, and Marsa was so sweet and asked for feedback at the end of the service as well. You can tell this place cares about their customers and the quality of the service they provide and I will absolutely be back!
