Somehow I had never heard of this place but luckily it came up in a search for best brunch and indeed we had a fabulous brunch! They don't take reservations but we walked in at 10:30 with a party of 7 and despite it being quite busy we were able to sit very quickly. We had French toast, the short rib hash, the Tuscan bake, the shrimp and grits, the burger and the kids pancakes. Everything was delicious. I don't even know if I could pick favorites. They can do the Tuscan bake with chicken sausage instead of pork if you want. And the prices are very reasonable, all of the entrees are less than $20 except the steak and eggs. Great food, great service, great restaurant, great atmosphere and location. I stopped in over the summer of 2023, the food was so great I can back the next day. The waiters and waitresses were super nice and friendly and professional. Fast forward to today, decided to come in for brunch with my sister. Our waiter Matthew was amazing. He was prompt, courteous and pleasant. Just like my summertime experience Matthew also was very professional and his personality made the experience great as vegan hash well. I had been waiting to try the Vegan hash with the crab cake and Shrimp and grits, the owner Antonio recommended and they were both very delicious! I am elated we decided to come back today. As I said, my waiter was very personable and I can say the same for my last two summertime experiences. There is plenty of free parking available. The location is hidden from the Main Street. There is indoor and outdoor seating available. The wait was about 30mins and the food came out in about the same. The waitress wasn't as attentive as expected but other people hurried to assist in her absence. I ordered a hot coffee, lavender mimosa, and vegan hash. When I tell you the vegan hash blew me away, I was pleasantly surprised as I did not see that it was a popular item on Yelp. Decided to go on a Sunday at 11am as a party of 3. The hostess seated us right away. The table was very small but we didn't mind. Brought us all together a little more. We were lucky and arrived just in time because as soon as we were seated a mob of people showed up. The waitress was very nice, positive energy from her. Also during our time there a few other employees helped us and each one was pleasant and smiling. Let me first say the shrimp n' grits was amazing! Beautiful to look at and tasted just the same! We ordered pancakes that were GF, a bit on the dry side but it's hard to find perfect GF pancakes. I'm fairly particular about my lattes as well. They didn't disappoint at all! The latte was perfect. Might be one of my favorite in Baltimore. The one thing that we didn't get was a cocktail but saw several pass us on their way to other tables and I can't wait to return to try one. The only thing I have to say negative was it was very loud inside, but the place was packed so it really couldn't have been any quieter. Just know that it's not a place to have a quiet conversation if you intend your partner to hear you. There were tables outside but still a bit cold for me. I had a lovely experience here. Easy Like Sunday does not take reservations, so I was hopping when I drove to Baltimore, they were not going to say they were at capacity for the day or that I would have to wait too long. I came by myself, so I had the opportunity to sit at the counter or the bar, so I chose the counter. They were extremely busy, as I expected they would be. The only con of my experience was having to wait several minutes for a waitress to come over to me, but after she did, everything else was perfect! Keep in mind, I knew it was busy, so I knew it would take a second for someone to come over to me. I wish I got my waitresses' name. She was really nice and made great recommendations. I really enjoyed her energy. I was stuck between getting the crab melt or the french toast but she let me know I could do a half order of french toast, so that's exactly what I did and also got the crab melt. The buttery taste of the toasted bun on the crab melt was delicious and there was absolutely no filler in the crab. It was 5 oz. of straight up crab meat and it was delicious. The french toast was also good and the perfect level of sweetness. I also got the sunday love to drink, which includes citrus vodka, elderflower liqour, strawberry basil, lemon, Prosecco, and a sugar rim. Definitely my type of cocktail. Perfectly sweet and the alcohol was hitting lol. Everything I ordered also came out in timely manner even with them because very busy. I also liked the casual yet cute vibe of the restaurant. He offered to walk us through the menu and if I wasn't already obsessed with this place I'm sure he would have given the best recommendations. First time here on a drizzly Sunday. Wait was an hour for 2 inside and no wait outside. They had heaters which helped. Stopped by Easy Like Sunday on a Sunday afternoon. Gave my name to the hostess. She informed me it would be about an hour's wait and they would text me when the table is ready. After about 45 minutes I received the text. We waited about 7 more minutes to be seated. There's seatings inside and out. We where seated inside which is pretty tight seatings. Long story short we ordered the fried chicken sandwich with fries and the steak and eggs. With tumeric ginger tea. Everything was delicious. A little pricey (what isn't these days) but good. This has become my new favorite brunch spot! So far, I have tried the Fried Chicken & Cornmeal Pancakes, the Basic Breakfast, and the Tuscan Bake, and all were delicious. The lavender peach mimosa is my favorite of the 3 mimosa flavor options. The crowds can be large on the weekends so it may be better to get there early if you have a group. The last time I went on a Sunday, there was an hour wait for a table but we were able to get seats at the bar after a short wait. They have indoor and outdoor seating with heated lamps. I'm not sure how wheelchair accessible this location is, as you must go down steps to reach the restaurant. This place has been on my list of places to go to for a very long time, and lemme tell ya it was worth the wait. The location of the restaurant is so cute and unique, it makes me feel like I've stepped out of Baltimore. I utilized the outdoor seating with my sister, so I'm not entirely sure what the inside looked like, but it was nice they had heaters out there. The service was pretty good, my server was very sweet and made sure we were comfortable, very attentive despite how BUSY it was. The food was obviously the star of the show. My burger was sooo delicious and tender, it was the perfect size and everything. The grits, both regular and shrimp and grits, were SO GOOD. Like words can't express how those grits melted in my mouth. The addition of short rib hash made it all better, it was the best combo I've tasted for grits. The French toast was just right, not too tough on the crust, and not too thick. Honestly syrup wasn't needed. Lastly was the tea. I ordered it "cappuccino style" (that's what Misto is) and well it was alright. I think I would've preferred it regular, I didn't really get to drink much tea since it was mostly foam. Met with 3 friends this past Monday for brunch. It's a little challenging to find if you're not familiar with the shopping center. You will have to walk inside the courtyard after parking. It was packed both inside and outside; however, we were seated immediately outside. Between the sun and heat lamps, everyone was comfortable. Our server was down-to-earth, super helpful and gregarious. Close tie between him and most of the food for the highlight of our brunch. For the beverages, we ordered: a Peach Lavender mimosa, Chocolate for Breakfast, a Classic Mocha and a Wildflower. Everyone enjoyed their drinks. For food, we ordered: A Bit of Everything with grits and French toast, the Crab Cake, the Tuscan Bake, the Crab Chowder (Soup of the Day) and the Bacon & Goat Cheese Burger. Overall, the food was delicious. Other takeaways: the grits are SUPER cheesy, the soup had good flavor but no crab and somehow that Tuscan Bake remained hot the entire time it was on the table. I looked around and there were plenty of empty tables they could have pushed together to make a seating of six. I also saw across from me was another girl with her headphones on, laptop out and tons of papers around her table, I'm not sure if they asked her to leave also? I can understand if Molly or another staff had asked me to leave before and I didn't so she had to speak to me in that tone, but this was the first time anyone asked me to leave. I can also understand if it was 3pm or 4pm but I had only been there a little over 2 hours. I can also understand if all I purchased was a drink. But my bill was close to $50 and I tipped over 20%. Does all that mean I deserve to be glared at by Molly from the front of the restaurant till I left? I had to gather al my items and walk out with my laptop open cause I was still in my meeting. If they really needed the table couldn't they have offered me another table? I will never go back there and don't recommend anyone to. That kind of treatment is not worth anything . I'm not sure if it's their customary practice to ask paying customers who have only been there for 2-2.5 hours to leave or if it was just me. read more

Today was my first time there and it was incredible! I was greeted with a warm welcome by the hostess and directed to our booth. I ordered the breakfast burrito and asked to substitute the bacon with fried chicken. The taste of this burrito was out of this world! Came on a Sunday with a huge party of about 15 people. It was already busy because it was prime brunch hour so we knew we'd have to wait a bit until we sat. Our waiter was outstanding, wish I remembered his name, because he certainly does not get paid enough. He was taking our orders, getting our drinks AND making them. That's right, this man was our waiter and also the bartender. Not once did I see him break a sweat, someone give this man a raise. This past Sunday my sister and I decided to try an EASY option for breakfast before an afternoon movie. Easy like Sunday was super close to the Rotunda so we figured it was the perfect brunch place. There is quite a bit of construction at cross keys these days so it can be a little confusing to find. They are located basically in the middle of the courtyard. There is lots of outdoor seating, a very chill vibe and plenty of shade from the summer heat. We started with coffee because caffeine, duh! I had the dirty chai and my sister had a mocha latte. Both were perfectly crafted and delicious. Our server at the bar area was so attentive and super friendly! I will add the restaurant was PACKED and tensions were high between the workers there. I woke up on a Sunday in need of some good brunch and wanted to try a new spot. I was hearing great things about East like Sunday from my very trusted sources so I gave it a try. I showed up around 12 and put my name on the list. I was told it would be about 45 minutes. It took a little bit longer but it was fairly accurate. I was able to do a little shopping in the boutique across the way while I waited which was a plus. By the way, I parked in the parking lot for the shopping center and walked right through. Not a far walk at all and the parking lot had plenty of parking. When I got the text, I went to the bathroom to wash my hands, which is always my first move. The bathroom was fairly clean which makes me feel better about the kitchen I can't see preparing my food. I had a hard time choosing my meal but my amazing server was able to steer me in the right direction. I settled on the premium sampler. The champagne itself had a great taste. Definitely worth the upgrade. I didn't really use the purées but only because juice isn't really my thing. I also ordered the chicken and pancakes.
