Lobster pasta jerk wings and potatoes
    Joe T.

Service was good. Outdoor seat was ok. Lobster pasta way too salty. Lamb was overcooked. Well done Jerk wings were. Needs a jerk or sour cream sauce but they stand up in their own. Smashed potatoes ask for extra seasoning on it or on the side. Hours are a little weird. But will return if in the area and they're not about to close

My son took me here Mother's Day weekend. It was an absolutely amazing experience. The restaurant is welcoming with inviting Afrocentric decor. The food was soooooo delicious. From the deviled egg shrimp to the lobster macaroni to our desserts. Chef's kiss

Special thanks for accommodating us last minute. In the area for my niece's graduation from Morgan State. Once we decided to brunch found out last reservation had passed but when my other niece explained the situation that her sister just graduated from Morgan State they gave us a reservation but warned review menu as upon arrival we will need to place order. We had a great time. It was very cosy and welcoming. Food was on point wish I lived closer so as to try other items. Our server very engaging and knowledgeable. She made our dining experience top notch. Will definitely return when on the area again.

I enjoyed my brief experience at this bar. I like the narrow set up where you pass the bar, into a small dining room and into a quaint outdoor patio. I tried a custom drink and the fried rice. It was very tasty and not spicy at all.

The ambiance, the staff, and the food--what an experience. I can't say enough about my recent visit to Yebo Kitchen. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious. The jerk lamb chops were hands down my favorite. The fried rice complemented the dish perfectly, and the addition of green beans was the perfect finishing touch. The drinks were crafted just right. To end the meal, I had the lemon crunch cake served warm--and I had to stop myself from ordering another one to go. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in the area.

Someone greats you at the door when you first walk in. There is a front bar area, then the open kitchen, and a lovely dining room. We sat at the bar. We got a biscuit flight. The flight has an apple, banana and strawberry biscuit. All of them were great. The biggest surprise was the biscuit was fried. I would have thought that would make the biscuit heavy and greasy. But the biscuit was perfect. Next was the garlic pepper shrimp. These were perfectly fried and drizzling with some magic butter or oil. Then it was on top of crunchy wonton strips. The jalapenos on top give it the perfect amount of spice. Not as spicy as you would think. The lamb chops were the best, meatiest (is that a word) I have ever had. I'm just going to leave it there. The Thai crab fried rice was light, fluff and delicious. The drinks were also great and the ice cube even had an orange slice. I can go on and on but you should just go. Black owned and delicious.

I went here for Sunday brunch with some friends and this place did not disappoint. When you enter, there is a small lounge area with bar seating. There are more formal table, seating options in the back portion of the restaurant in addition to patio seating. They do not take reservations, so the feeding is first come first serve and your entire party must be present in order to be seated. The hostess was really nice and our service was wonderful. Now for the food... I got the avocado toast which comes with smashed avocado, roasted cherry tomatoes, and grilled shrimp topped with two sauces. The toast that all of the toppings sat on was nice and crispy on the edges and soft. The shrimp were perfectly cooked and complimented the tomatoes and the smashed avocado. This was a perfect way to start the meal. For my main course, I got the lobster fried rice which comes with a deep-fried lobster tail on top. This dish was so good and packed with lobster meat. In addition to the lobster tail on top. I appreciate the portion sizes at this restaurant as for three people we spent about $110 altogether and everyone left full. This was such a good place to go for brunch and I definitely will be back to try some of their dinner options as well.

Are you looking for a unique dining experience with music, cozy setting, bar area, open kitchen concept, and an at home feel? Then this is the place! I visit here for my cousin's birthday dinner and let's just say that I'll be back, especially to try their brunch. Service: the staff were incredible from the hostess to the dining table-thanks Ty. You were an amazing waiter and you paid great attention to our table and made my cousin's night even more special. Drinks: few ordered, I went with the Botanical Gin & Tonic which was a tad more sugary than expected and could use a little more alcohol to cut the sugar overload. Appetizers: we ordered the following: Crispy beef wontons: delicious but the beef inside presented more of a cheeseburger flavor and I was hoping for a standout beef approach. It was delicious but again, I immediately thought of a cheeseburger wonton with the first bite. Yebo crab rolls: I wanted to love this dish but it had a little too much salt. Delicious flavors but something in the dish carried more salt that I expected and I had to refrain from it. Main dishes: I ordered the whole fried branzino and hear me well, I have had many branzino dishes from numerous restaurants across the U.S. and this dish is added to my top branzino list. This was a trip to flavor town and it all stood out in the way that they seasoned the fish to perfection and added a scrumptious lemongrass sauce over it. My goodness, this fish was SO good! The rice was okay, nothing special. My focus was on the fish from start to finish. Can I add that you know when a fish is fried well if it's perfectly white inside, soft, and falling off the bone. This was a winning dish and I hope that they never change it. Members of my party ordered the following: Surf and turf: it can use a different plating presentation to spotlight the various components of the plate but it carried flavor. Fried lobster rigatoni: the heavy salt was back and my boyfriend, while he enjoyed it, he wished that they used less salt. At the end of dinner we had a specially presented lemon crunch cake brought to the table and honey, that cake was sinfully good! Overall, our dining experience was great and I can see myself returning here when I'm in town.

I had been wanting to check out Yeiboh Kitchen because the food looked amazing! I went for brunch and it was great. The inside is bright at the front and more cozy in the back where the tables are. They also have outdoor seating out front and in the back. The service was pretty good, although a little slow at times which was surprising because they weren't packed. We tried the biscuit flight to start, which was excellent. The biscuits were fluffy and the toppings were excellent. I had the salmon & grits, which you can get blackened instead of deep fried, and that was so well seasoned and perfectly cooked. The cream sauce was full of flavor and really added to the dish. My friend had the Yeiboh Omelet, which had lobster and crab in it, and was served open faced/not folded, but perfectly cooked. Overall, this was an excellent meal. When we went, we did not have trouble finding parking in the area as well.

This was my first time at Yeiboh kitchen and I had an AMAZING experience. We were seated rather quickly. The restaurant is cozy, with indoor, front and back outdoor seating. Loved the music they were playing last night. I was literally Shazaming some of the songs throughout dinner. Menu-wise, there was so much to choose from on the menu and everything sounded delicious so of course it took me forever to decide on what to order. Our server, Noah, was awesome, super kind, patient and knowledgeable. I trusted his recommendations so he definitely helped me to narrow down what to get. Loved everything I ordered. The branzino was piping hot, fresh, crispy and delicious. The kale Caesar salad was over the moon good. Fresh, crisp, and had the perfect amount of dressing. The banana pudding was great. Very light and I loved their take on the presentation. The wait staff was great, very attentive, and seemed to be working as a team. Several people even smiled and thanked us as we were leaving, which is a huge plus for me! I definitely enjoyed every minute of my visit and I look forward to coming back for dinner and definitely brunch sometime soon!

Frost time here. Came to celebrate my birthday and my nephew birthday as well. He chose this place as he was interested in seeing how it was. We walked in. The ambiance was cute. The outdoor patio was very quaint. The bar was right at the front door which made things tight. And they had tables right at the door as well. There was not a wait which was good. And there was a bathroom right at the bar as well. We walked to the back where our table was. On the way the walkway pass the kitchen there was another bathroom right across from the kitchen. Not a good look. Very tight. Not a good look to have the bathroom right across the kitchen and whole food is being placed on the shelf for servers to pick up. We ordered apps (crab egg rolls and wings). Both were good. The wings spicy. The eggrolls delicious and filled with REAL crabmeat. I orders a peach margarita. My sister has an old fashioned. For dinner o was limited to non fried foods. The branzino would have been perfect but it was deep fried. So I ordered the red snapper with fried rice. I wish it came with another side preferably a veggie. My son and sister ordered the lamb chops and it wane with fried rice and green beans. Let me just say the green beans was soooo good. OMG. I wanted an order to go. The ambiance was cute but it was small in there. The design was not fully thought through. I would not put a bathroom by the kitchen especially with food exposed like that. Something for them to think about without possibly having the health department look at that if they haven't already. Overall it was a good experience. Definitely cute for Hh. Date night with the girls. Or to meet up with friends or hook up if you are single and looking to mingle. Check out their HH. It looks to be cute and reasonably priced. Oh let me not forget dessert. The bread pudding. It set well with my soul. I dined sufficiently. Will maybe revisit with my boyfriend for a date night.

This was my second visit to Yeiboh Kitchen, and it was definitely a much better experience. I had gone when they first opened, and while it's understandable that new restaurants are still working out their flow, my first visit left me unsure. I decided to give them another try, and I'm so glad I did. I sat at the bar, and the bartender, Ashley, was incredible! She was spot on with her recommendations, flexible with my drink requests, and had such a warm, engaging personality. The restaurant itself is cozy and on the smaller side, so I recommend going for an early dinner since it does get busy during peak hours. I really enjoyed the Asian ribs and the branzino, and I'm looking forward to trying more dishes in the future!

This place is still a vibe! There's been a slight change in the name. It's now "Yeiboh Kitchen." I visited when they first opened and again last night with some friends for happy hour. The indoor space is cozy but there's options to sit in the back patio (covered and still technically inside) or the front patio (outside). We were greeted right away by the hostess. Everyone was really welcoming, including the bartenders and servers. Keisha was our server and she was awesome. She kept checking on us and was just all around good energy! We sat in the back patio where we could still hear the music. Shout out to DJ KeeBee!! Happy hour is Monday,Thursday and Friday (5 - 7) and I believe only at the bar area and the front patio. Double check with the staff! The specials are good. The Zulu brussels sprouts were my favorite. The island wings are also really good. My friends enjoyed the shrimp tacos and the salmon chips. I started off with wine then switched to a cosmo. I didn't love the cosmo and it wasn't in a typical martini glass. I heard brunch is great so I need to come back for that! This could be a cute date spot!

Since it was New Year's eve, there were few patrons or maybe this is the usual scene? Don't know. But there are some comfy couches by the front in which a young couple with a baby was nursing. Another couple was just finishing up dinner and started to head out. We were the only two diners for about 20 minutes before another couple came in for dinner. There were also about two or three people at the bar. So basically a very quiet place. No one at the hostess stand, only a woman at the bar. She eventually sat us and took our order. Things were slow but not so slow that I would complain. I would surmise that most of the staff was off that evening. Food was also slow in coming so there might have been a small crew in the kitchen as well. We ordered the mezze appetizer. Nothing to rave about. It was just a plate with vegetables and hummus. We both got the wagyu burger and fries. The whole meal was quite decent. The meat was cooked to the correct temperature and the fries were crispy. It was quite filling for me. Maybe it was NYE but everything was quiet and nice.

After all, it'd been on our radar since Tom Sietsema's 2019 review in the Washington Post but, because it's located a long way from us, we hadn't made the effort. We're so glad we made the trip to Baltimore this past Thursday for what wound up being a magical evening. The staff was exceptional: Eliza and George greeted us warmly ("that's quite the hat!"). George led us to table #4...the perfect choice (thanks Eliza!) as I'd had my eye on that table thanks to web-based interior shots of Charleston. Jocelyn, our Server, was friendly, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable when it came to the daily menu, the evening's specials, and the daunting wine list. It's no wonder Charleston was a 2025 James Beard Foundation award winner for its "Outstanding Wine & Other Beverages Program." Thanks to Jocelyn's Busser, Dionicio, our water glasses were never empty and we had a constant supply of muffins, sourdough, and the best cornbread ever! He was the master of unobtrusive service. Ah, but whatabout the food?! Perfection. Champagne followed by Chef's welcoming sippable soup set the stage for a mix-and-match tasting tour. Potato & Beer soup, Lettuce & Beet salad, and Grilled Tenderloin for me and Zucchini Beignets, Lettuce & Beet salad, and White Truffle Fettuccine for her. All simply confirmed that Chef Wolf and her kitchen staff are at the top of their game. We finished the evening with our complementary desserts (Almond Pound Cake, Cashew & Dark Chocolate Vegan Cheesecake) and coffee. Even the chocolate Macarons, a parting treat, were delicious. Finally, a word about the room. "Calming" comes to mind. Never hurried. Conversation was easy. Very much appreciated nowadays where, even in upper tier restaurants, it's a struggle to hear your tablemates. All-in-all, a wonderful birthday evening made possible by Charleston Restaurant Baltimore.

My partner and I returned to Charleston for our annual Christmas dinner. While the food was…read moregenerally very good, we were a little less impressed with the service this year. The major hiccup we experienced was my gluten free lamb shank pasta being sent to the vegetarian sitting at the table next to us. Watching this unfold and the server's exasperated reaction was very awkward. That being said, the manager (or maitre d?)'s graceful handling of the situation thereafter was great. He told us what happened, played it off well, explained that it would be a bit of a wait for our next course as a result, and ended up comping all our wine. Really classy touch. However, even after the long wait for the pasta, it was ultimately under-salted under-seasoned and not impressive at all. As much as I appreciate the gluten free option, I wish I had just gotten something else especially after all that trouble! The rest of the service throughout the night was also oddly paced. We ordered less courses than last year (only three) but we were there for almost four hours. Tables around us who arrived after us were served their first courses before we even had a chance to order. We were asked to pick out a wine first before choosing our food and since we weren't sure what we were eating, we weren't ready to select a wine. Even just getting the food menu took a bit of waiting around. Our server didn't inquire about any food allergies either so it was tough making decisions when I wasn't sure what was gluten free - and this was an allergy that was noted in our reservation, too. At another point, I asked for a glass of red wine three different times until finally the maitre d grabbed it for me after the pasta debacle happened. As for the rest of my meal, the scallops and lobster soup were both yummy but not anything life changing. However, my boyfriend's lamb chop dish was very very delicious. The one bite I had, paired with the pomegranates, was heaven. By the way, they offer gluten free bread service too. Has the Charleston lost their touch after the recent James Beard press? I'm not sure but I do hope they step things back up again. You come to expect a little more from an institution like this, especially after being totally blown away last year.

That made it easy for us to converse as we perused the menu exclaiming this and that of the dreadful names used and deathly ingredients mixed in. It definitely made it more appetizing. After working all day I was ready for a drink and settled on the To Isadore; gin, lavender syrup, lemon squeeze topped with segura cava. That hit the spot. We were seated upstairs and our service was also lacking a bit, not getting refills quickly, etc. definitely not the best time!

I turned back around to photograph the signage, while my party headed to the bar exit door. When I turned back to leave, a manager coming down the stairs glaring at me asked me, "Is everything all right?" Me: Yes, I was taking a pic. Manager: I know. I wanted to know if everything is ok. Still in same weird vein, like a dog with a fav chew toy. Me: Is there a problem with me taking a pic? Manager: I didn't ask you why you were taking a pic. I wanted to know if something was wrong. You were over there taking a pic and the hostess wasn't there. Sidebar: This same manager passed our table at least 3 times during our visit with no greeting, nor stopping by our table to check in with a little small talk. NOW....he asks me is something wrong nary a smile but with a .....what in the world is she doing. Me: YES, this is petty. No, you asked me if something was wrong BECAUSE I was taking a pic. If I needed something, then I'd ask the waiters at the next stand (only a few tables away) You saw us sitting at the table at the entrance and never spoke to us once. I will never return! RUDE MANAGER Interaction 0/5 Note: All managers, stop by each diner's table, greet customers with a smile, DON'T be obnoxious and rude. THANK patrons, APOLOGIZE when something goes wrong, always say COME BACK AND SEE US! FYI: Manager for your information, I'm a Yelper. I enjoy leaving honest and detailed feedback on places I visit. My time and money are valuable to me as I curate adventures. This was most definitely not one of those times!

Got together with a few friends for dinner during the holidays and it never disappoints. We stopped in on a Sunday, early evening around 5:30. It was pretty quiet so we were quickly seated at our table. Our server for the evening, Josh was phenomenal. Josh is pretty much knowledgeable about the entire menu and gave us wonderful recommendations from food to cocktails. And answered any questions that we had, I wound definitely sit in his section all the time. I highly recommend. Our table ordered a plethora of entrees, from the Chesapeake Cioppino( a seasfood stew with clams, mussels, rockfish, Maryland crab and fennel), a phenomenal dish and perfect for cold evenings. The Rockfish entree was really delicious and I was blown away with the crispy okra. Definitely a nice touch to the dish. It sits in a goan curry sauce, so delicious. You can never go wrong with their burger. The cracked pepper bacon along with the caramelized onion jam was really good on this burger and it was cooked perfectly, nice and juicy. We also had the Shenandoah lamb and the shrimp and grits, which were not pictured, my friends enjoyed those dishes as well. They have nice cocktail menu as well, all the cocktails are named after songs, such as Like a G6 for example. If you're in the Mount Vernon area of town, stop in and check them out. They also offer brunch and happy hour service as well. You won't be disappointed SYOY I

For the appetizer, we got the mushroom toast and miso soup. The mushroom toast was umami and creamy. And the miso soup had an interesting crunch on top, while the base was hearty. I really enjoyed both! For the main course we got the catfish. It was nicely fried and not at all greasy. I regret not getting the lamb instead, since I'm not the biggest fan of white fish. For dessert, we tried the shortbread and a blueberry cake. I forget exactly why it was, but the shortbread was so delectable. There was a nice caramel layer. Our server was very kind! Very attentive and friendly. I was celebrating a birthday, and when she heard that, she asked if we wanted a Polaroid photo to document the moment. It was so cute! Overall ambiance is nice too. It's cozy without feeling small. Although, it was very cold that day and every time someone opened the door, I would feel the wind draft. Maybe a slightly higher indoor temperature would be better. Anyways, I'd definitely come back! Solid food and lovely service. I like that they serve seasonal specials.

My husband encouraged me to not say anything. The food was good but I just wasn't feeling it last night. The tables were too close together and it was too loud. This was my second visit to Foraged. The first experience was much better. We had no alcohol and our bill came to $167 + tip. I'm thinking for that money, I'd rather go elsewhere
