On the day of my move, they showed up with a smaller truck then what we discussed. We asked if they had a larger one and they said no. So I knew we were off to a not so good start. I then asked if they had gloves or needed them, they didn't have so I decide to go to Home Depot to purchase gloves for the three guys and a case of water. So they started emptying out the storage unit and loading the truck, mind you most of the items were card board boxes. I also provided moving blankets. Long story short, they loaded everything and were ready to go, items that were not able to fit, they placed back into the unit and locked it. Then we leave and head to Sacramento from San Lorenzo, and they are headed that way too. We have to pay for 2 hours travel time each way. Then they also took a lunch, so now it's almost 7pm and we are waiting for them to unload at the new storage. They get there and are dehydrated and not able to stand the heat, we went to get Gatorade for them. They finish unloading and we pay, I tip them and it's done. Later that week we are moving the next unit, and notice a broken glass lamp shade. This was one of the items they loaded back in the unit, that didn't fit, this was not broken when we left and I was shocked because it was a one of a kind. I followed up with a phone call which was never returned, and also a few text message through the Yelp messaging, which is how I hired Alex. Anyways it sucks when you get taken advantage of by a moving company, that claims they are insured but yet when you reach out to them about an item they broke, there is no response, no returned phone call or anything. PLEASE beware if you are using the Easy Peasy Moving, all the reviews look great, but they are not professional, they are new to the game and messed with the wrong person. I will continue to contact the better business bureau, board of transportation!! Beware of using this company, I would not want any of person to have this happen to them. read more

Getting a quote was quick and easy; Aika was super responsive when I needed proof of insurance to submit to my HOA. Hourly rate for 3 ppl was very fair when I compared to other places, plus $150 for moving a very heavy fridge up to the 2nd floor. Day of, Yela did a great job communicating his ETA with me in the morning before arrival. He and his crew were hard-working, professional and very friendly and I appreciated their help. Sadly, I have to change my former five star review. As I'm updating this, I see I'm not the only one updating my review this month. The first two times I used Easy Peasy Moving, I had a great experience, but the third time was horrible. To start, they never entered my move into their computer system, despite having a confirmed timeframe via yelp. The morning of my move, they were scheduled to come between 9-10am. Around 9:45 I started to worry, and tried to call them. I must have called at leave five times, leaving two messages. I also reached out on yelp to no avail, and finally on email. They reached out to me after 10am to apologize, but couldn't get a mover to me until 1pm. So to start off the move we're already 3-4 hours late. The movers arrived, and everything started out okay. When I mentioned the place I was moving to had stairs, one of them looked very surprised, even though the original request had stated there were stairs. When we arrived at my new condo, the one mover told me that for these stairs, they would be expecting a minimum $100 tip, PER MOVER (for a one bedroom move). I find this beyond rude, because 1) you are not never entitled to a tip. A tip is something that is at the discretion of the person paying for the service. (I was planning on giving a nice tip, but demanding any tip is rude, and this price was outrageous). 2) their website specifically says "We will never charge you for stairs, assembling, disassembling, narrow hallways, wrapping, long walking distance. Our rates are all-inclusive". This is BS if their movers are going to demand large tips. The total move price came to $735, and he told me that I can just round that up to $1000. I was so astounded, as well as being stressed and exhausted, so I paid a $300 tip. It gets worse. Items are now missing after my move. At least one box is not here, after I've unpacked everything. Whether they mistakenly or intentionally didn't unload all of the boxes, I can't be sure, but I'm missing kitchen stuff. I have a single piece of furniture that has sentimental value (my Nana's antique dressing table) which I always stress to be extra careful with. However, during the move, a piece broke off of the table. Finally, after the move, the movers did not take their garbage (plastic wrap and used tape) with them, but had me dispose of it instead. My condo association doesn't have a giant bin (we all have our own small garbage bins), and so I had to take the used packing accessories IN my car to my old apartment. It took me three loads from the car to dispose of it in the garbage chute there. I did reach out to Easy Peasy Moving regarding this several weeks also. They originally responded apologizing, and saying out customer satisfaction is important to them, and they would like the opportunity to resolve my concerns. However, they went silent after that and I never heard back. I would advise against using this moving company - they used to be great, but this is no longer the case. Be sure to read the other reviews of repeat customers having a similar experience before you book. read more

I hired Easy Peasy Moving for my move at the end of February. This is the first time I've hired movers and they were a great help! They were really quick to correspond with, and I like that they're a family-run business. Aika, the manager, was there at the beginning with the movers to assess the layout/items and walk me through the contract. At the end, she walked me through the final charges (note: they were cash only). Even though it was technically a 1br apartment move, I learned that I have a ton of stuff and at points wondered if I should have asked for a third mover. Still, my two movers impressed me with their efficiency. As other reviews have mentioned, they wrap the furniture in plastic wrap which they help remove after unloading. For the loading process, I had access to an elevator, but during unloading, my movers had to take everything up 1-2 flights of stairs depending on the location of the room, so I'm appreciative of the care and speed with which they did that. My fiancé and I moved yesterday from a 2bed/2bath in Oakland to a 2bed/2bath in San Bruno and we're happy we picked Easy Peasy! - Communication: they responded to my yelp messages within minutes - Professional/Friendly: they were very professional, kind, and polite. They were communicative throughout the move and listened to all our requests. - Organized: they had a clear system and showed up prepared to move all of our items (except plants which we were prepared to move ourselves). They also know to focus on clearing out the apartment at the end, so they spend time getting the last of our items from the elevator to the truck - giving us a few minutes to clean, return keys, and still get a head start going to the new place. - COVID safety: they wore masks they entire time (and we did as much as we could too - keep your movers safe!) - Quality work: while I don't have photos, I can attest that they wrap your furniture with care just like in the photos. Smaller furniture items that are too big for moving boxes (e.g. a stool, curtain rod, etc) get carefully loaded into speed pack moving boxes (unless it's something expensive or fragile). They also have closet boxes. Everything seems to have arrived in great condition with no damage to floors or walls. - Price: great value, competitively priced. Tip well! In the end, it took a little longer than we expected, but it was also the smoothest move we've ever had, so it follows that you should expect quality over speed. Phenomenal job! Azamat and his brother were fantastic with helping move a one bedroom apartment (couch, bed, bed frame, tables, etc.) from Union City to South San Francisco. They arrived on time (with about a 20 foot truck), signed the paperwork, and they were on their way. What's even better is that they took care of pretty much everything! They ultimately encouraged me to just relax and to let them do all the work - hey, I definitely didn't mind. They were very gentle with all my belongings, and they also wrapped everything very meticulously to ensure nothing got scratched or damaged.
