Okta took the time to place all the precautionary measures within the swap of thermals to protect my Motherboard in full (kapton tape and oil application for the pad) I will be evaluating this for the next couple of days to see if the the temps remain stable but to be honest initial overview of the temps are fantastic! He discovered a small sticker that was embedded and covering the port. Not only was he quick, but Aaron did not charge a dime! I had a 11 year old LG Plasma TV whose screen went blank one day. It had been working fine and then…read moresuddenly the screen went black and it would try to turn on but would ultimately show a blank screen then power off. Since there had been no degradation of the display quality over time I had figured that repair would be possible without having to replace the display or even the entire TV. I called a half dozen other repair shops and all refused to even look at my TV since it was a plasma tv. I understand that plasma type displays are now considered outdated and replaced by LCD and OLED but I was discouaraged that most repair shops wouldn't even bother looking at my TV. Enter Frank and his mobile service to the rescue! He told me upfront that there would be a non refundable $75 diagnostic fee. If it was deemed repairable and parts were available that would go towards the final repair. A very resonable cost since even the cheapest TV's nowadays range from a few hundred dollars to well over $1000. In the end it was a simple fix...it the PSU had some degraded soldering and Frank was able to resolder them and tested the screen to success within an hour. It was truly a great win since I saved a bunch of money (repairs with labor cost $150 in the end) from buying a new screen, diverted e waste from the landfill and was able to keep money into the local economy by giving Frank the chance to fix something completely repairable. Fred diagnosed it and fixed it in the allotted time they told me it would take. At one point, they wanted me to come by and Fred wanted to show me the inner workings of the unit and showed me where some functions were obviously messed with by the previous owner. [this was purchased from an ebay seller, as in "working excellent shape". One thing to note for potential customers, if they tell you your stereo component will be ready in six to eight weeks it is because they are busy. If you want your classic audio system repaired by a pro, Fred is the way to go. He and Jimmy will take good care of it. Jimmy will also call you or send you a text with an update, if need be. Fred is a friendly guy and has a sense of humor. If you don't have a sense of humor you probably won't get his. Please make yourself aware of their hours -for- customer appointments. Keeping it simple: they are busy because they know what they are doing. I saw first hand the inventory of stereo units that are being repaired and on deck for repair. I am a business owner myself, the customer is so important, but it is important that the customer trust the business owner they are hiring. My CD player was fixed on time and works perfectly now.
