Excellent Thai food in the heart of Thornhill. We ordered the soft shell crab, pad Lee maw, and khao soi. They were all delicious. The portions were also large and the service was pretty good. We'd definitely come back again!

Stop what you're doing and immediately go to BKK for some delicious thai food. Cute little restaurant with adorable decor and quick service. We ordered: - Thai fried rice 10/10 (PERFECT!!) - Pad thai 9/10 - Satay skewers 7/10 - Pad se ew 8/10 - Green curry 6/10 (too spicy but still flavourful) - Veggie spring rolls 6/10 (small and too oily) - Thai iced tea 10/10 Most dishes come with just veggies and charge an extra $2-5 for chicken, beef or shrimp. Safe to say we found a new family favourite! Just remember that groups of 6 or more are charged an 18% gratuity.

Good service, moderate ambiance. Food quality/quantity/taste/presentation vs price, I would rate it 3.5. We were craving for Khao Soi, this place popped up in my search thus walked in on a weekday evening. The place was quite full. However, we were seated immediately, good service. Ample parking at plaza's parking lot

This was our first time at this Thai restaurant. The server was very welcoming , we ordered food. Thai rice was soooo good, everyone loved it . Chicken green curry was spicy but very tasty with white rice . The chicken satay was good with the peanut sauce. The serving is good size like shareable. Will go again fr sure to try other dishes .

Meant to just have a quick lunch but ended up with a full-on feast. We had Tom Yum Soup, Som Tum, Pineapple Fried Rice, and Khao Soi noodles. For myself, I added the Eat BKK Paradise mocktail, and we closed it off with the FBI (Fried Banana Ice Cream) for dessert. Everything we ordered came out looking like IG worthy, but it wasn't just the look. Flavours were solid across the board. Seafood in the soup was surprisingly big and fresh, especially considering the price. Ingredients all felt like they were picked with care, and each dish had its own bold personality without being overpowering. The mocktail was actually really good. Refreshing, light, and not overly sweet like some places tend to do. But to be honest, with how flavour-packed the food was, I didn't even feel like I needed a drink to "refresh" in between. Just saying. Shoutout to the staff too. Friendly, helpful, and knew how to guide us through the menu without rushing anything. Definitely a spot I'd come back to whenever I'm around. They just get the balance right, and that's not easy to find.

Really good food and service. We ordered the calm, pad Thai, khao soi, Thai platter. Everything was delicious from start to finish. We really loved the calm appetizer, it was full of flavour. We shared amongst 7 people and that was enough food for everyone. The Thai platter was good, we really enjoyed the taro fries. This place was really busy so I suggest making reservations in advance.

My first time at this place and I am definitely going back, especially for the taro fritters! I loved them more than I thought because I'm not a huge fan of fries, but those were amazing! But honestly everything was delicious, the portions were large and the server was super friendly.

EAT BKK Thai Kitchen in Thornhill quickly won me over. Kindly invited for tasting, the meal opened with Shrimp & Glass Noodles: a clay pot that releases a wave of garlic as soon as the lid lifts, revealing smoky, pepper-kissed noodles and plump tiger prawns. The Seafood Tom Yum hotpot followed in a chimney vessel--fiery, tangy broth packed with mussels, squid, more prawns, and scallops. To cool things down, the Som Tum papaya salad delivered crisp strands, bright lime, and a lively chilli kick. For mains, the Pineapple Fried Rice with Beef balanced juicy pineapple, tender beef ribbons, and the chew of raisins--sweet-savory done right. Drinks were on point too: the rum-coconut Asiatique felt like a tropical getaway, while the alcohol-free Eat BKK Paradise fizzed with lychee and guava. Dessert sealed the deal: FBI Fried Banana Ice-Cream, where hot sesame-battered banana meets cold vanilla for instant bliss. Friendly, attentive staff, a roomy dining space, and loads of free parking make this spot an easy recommendation.

I came here on a Sunday evening, around 6 pm, as a table of 8. We made reservations prior to, just in case, to ensure seating for our big group. The place was steadily busy but there were still empty tables on a constant basis for anyone who walked in. We walked into an already set table with plates, cutlery, cups, and water, alongside menus. Upon entering, the first thing I noticed was how "stuffy" and hot it felt. It did cool down as the night went on, I believe because they kept the front door open. Though the restaurant isn't big, their layout was very good, making it feel spacious and comfortable to dine-in. We ordered the following: - Thai Platter: This came with taro fritters which were very light, crispy, and not greasy at all! It also came with 4 of each spring rolls, summer rolls, wings zeed (very flavorful), and chicken satay (good sized pieces). Hence, this is great for sharing and trying out all their different appetizers. This is served with plum sauce, peanut sauce and lime chilli sauce (which was sour and salty, a little strange). - Smoked Chilli Clams: this was very flavorful and tasty. It also came with a big side of rice, which was nice to mix the sauce with. - Mango Salad: the green mango chunks were on the thicker side and resembled fries with a tart flavor profile. This was paired with onion, carrot, mint, bell pepper, peanut and cashew nuts. - Shrimp Pad Thai: there was a good amount of shrimp added and they were pretty big and tender as well. Overall, I wish this dish had more flavor. - Pineapple Fried Rice with Chicken: though Pad Thai is usually my go-to, I actually preferred this Pineapple Fried Rice as it was very flavorful and not greasy. I'd definitely ordering this again. - Mango Sticky Rice: this was one of the highlights of the meal, very well-made! You can't try this spot out without ordering their mango sticky rice. - Crispy Milk Roti with Coconut Milk Sauce: this was an interesting dessert to try. I didn't like that it had an oily feel and taste to it, but it was quite yummy. As a table of 8, the gratuity of 18% was automatically added. This felt a little steep for the service we received. Our server was amazing and you could tell she was doing her best, but the place was understaffed, not having enough people to service the size of the place. Many times, we found ourselves trying to wave someone down but found it difficult since we were at the back of the restaurant and the two employees were very busy running the whole place by themselves. As an example, we ran out of water on many occasions and had difficulty getting refills. The restaurant was clean, as well as the washrooms which were spacious single stalls, good for accessibility.

Both were awesome and they timed your pickup time pretty well. The noodle was tasty, and the beef was super soft and flavourful which hit my every expectation on this dish. The lamb skewers ($9.99 for 4) were marinated very well, with perfect flavouring. It brought back a lot of childhood memories immediately. Bomb noodles. We will be back…read more My fiancée and I love spicy food. We also love noodles. So guess what we got at Noodle Legend - the Feast Seafood Noodles Topped with Spicy Oil! The dish comes with a thick flat super chewy ribbon noodle. It doesn't look like a big portion, but the noodles never seem to end! We particularly loved the aromatic garlicy spicy oil, which was full of umami and slightly sweet. It coated the noodles perfectly without making it seem like a noodle soup. The spice doesn't hit you at first, but sure enough it comes back with a vengeance. Be cautious if you decide to up the spice levels! It comes with quite a bit of seafood - scallops, baby abalone and crawfish tails. We've never really had crawfish tails in Chinese cuisine, so this was quite interesting. Make sure to suck on the tail before you de-shell to really get all the umami, and then dip the tail back into the spicy oil for a burst of flavour. Surprisingly, the chewy texture of the seafood complemented the noodles really well. Customer service here is impeccable. We saw nearby tables with phone holders, which we suspect you can request if you want to eat and watch your videos in peace. The staff also hand out individually packaged plastic bibs and gloves to avoid the oil from slashing onto your clothes and will top up your napkin supply without asking. The restaurant has a couple of tables but noticeably, some long benches that run throughout. We were sat in the middle, and were asked kindly by the Owner to move to the end of the table once a bigger party arrived. We had no issues with this, but the Owner decided to give us free pop and apologized for the inconvenience. So nice! Little surprise - there's a Beef Noodle Special after 8:30pm on Monday-Thursday. "Authentic hand pulled noodles in slow-simmered beef bone broth". Sounds like music to my ears - can't wait to come back and try this one out.

The broth was fragrant though not as spicy as I would have preferred. And The vegetables that came with the soup were crispy and fresh. Overall, I enjoyed my visit I will be back to try some of their dumplings and other soup options. Of course with the thick noodles:) I definitely recommend coming here as the service and the food was exceptional.

We entered this beautiful restaurant and were immediately transported to Vietnamese culture and traditions which we have experienced first-hand in Vietnam on three separate occasions. The seating arrangements permitted different views of this well-appointed restaurant. It was peaceful even though there were many people dining there. It was serene with light music in the background and barely audible. What a pleasure! The Food: We ordered an appetizer plate of popiah. We've enjoyed popiahs in Malaysia, and these were very different. These are a rolled "rice cellophane" wrappers filled with finely chopped lap xiong sausage, vermicelli and fresh herbs served with a side dip (of mostly hoisin). EXQUISITE AND ADDICTIVE. 10/10 We then shared a Bún Chá Hanoi. It has always been one of my favourite Vietnamese dishes and difficult to find in Toronto. This was true to tradition, extremely well-executed and refined in it's preparation and taste. The pork patties did not have a porky taste (bonus points), a perfect char and seasonings. Hubby enjoyed the grilled pork belly. The accompanying "dressing" for the vermicelli and fresh lettuce was refreshing and light. 10/10 My café dā was smooth and strong (as requested). It was served in the traditional Vietnamese style. The Owner brought condensed milk and sugar with it on the side because he thought the coffee would be too strong for me. Of course I didn't need it. I think he was surprised LOL. 10/10. My husband's kumquat drink was delicious and his first time enjoying the taste of kumquat. 10/10. Words cannot describe how much we loved this place. Best to go on weekdays to get a better chance for seating. Recently tried a couple new items on their off menu including the curry beef noodle (fried egg noodles on top), these crispy triangle shaped rolls (forgot the name) maybe pork and crap roll? Then followed up with something I've gotten before the dry chicken pho noodle salad. The curry beef with the crispy egg noodles reminds me of khao soi though there is less of a coconut flavour and more salty and savoury. I don't usually have curry Vietnamese style so I didn't know what to expect. But we found it a little too salty and also I personally prefer my curry a little sweeter like Japanese or coconut-ish like Thai or HK style curries. It's good, just not to our palate. It's a generous portion so we took it home and actually used the remaining curry broth to make a tasty stew with other ingredients and a touch of marinara sauce and it turned out really tasty! The crispy triangles rolls we had were fantastic and I like the side of fresh greens with it. Dry chicken pho noodle salad is always good. I like that they provide the broth of beef balls on the side so you can always enjoy it with the broth if you like. I think the extra broth with beef balls only happens for dine-in though because I have taken out that same dish before and I don't remember them including the extra broth on the side. The other time we also tried their shaking beef (comes with a fried egg on top) with rice and ordered the tapioca seafood and pork noodle soup - look through my later photos for reference. I don't think we'll order the shaking beef again but the tapioca noodle soup would be in rotation. Love that they are always experimenting with different dishes and I'm always excited to try something new here from their off-menu dishes.

Small fried spring rolls Now, maybe I came in with overly high expectations. I've seen some reviews raving about these menu items But I was very disappointed in the dishes. The sizzling meat plate was actually not sizzling and was Luke warm. (Although flavours were not bad). The banh mi sandwich was kinda soggy even without dipping yet. They currently have a spring promo where some of their signature noodle bowls are $9.99, and you can add a side skewer or snack for just $1.99, which is kind of a steal these days. We both went for the classic pork meat sauce sweet potato noodles. The noodles have that chewy, slightly mochi-like texture that I personally love, and they really soak up the broth well. I got the soup version, which comes in a stainless steel pot, while the dry mixed option comes in a regular bowl. The broth was flavourful with a nice balance of spicy and numbing, but still manageable and not overwhelming. For sides, my friend got the spicy wolf tooth potato, which is basically like crinkle cut fries but instead of deep frying, it has a harder texture mixed with chili oil, and I ordered the brown sugar rice cake which is what we needed to finish off the meal- sweet, chewy, and perfect. Service was pretty fast, and one thing I appreciated is that the noodles come with free refills. I actually went for a second round since there was still plenty of soup left, which made the meal feel even more worth it. They do add a 12% service fee to the bill, so there's no need to worry about tipping on top. Overall, really solid spot if you're craving something comforting, spicy, and affordable. The inside is still very modern and sleek. However, the seating is still really uncomfortable since they are still using those hard wooden seats with no back support. The restaurant is also really cramped and tight. Unfortunately, we had to wait over 30 minutes for seating because most of their tables are two-top tables. And we came with 4 people. We ordered their Beef Tendon Noodle, traditional hand pulled beef noodle, stir fried tomato beef noodle, and their Chicken Chow Mein. As for appetizers, we got their bbq traditional chicken wings, BBQ pork belly, and their teppan squid. This time, I thought everything tasted really good. Last time, my complaint was that the hand pulled noodles were way too soft and overcooked. But this time, I asked for a thicker noodle and it came out perfect. It had a nice chew to it and wasn't overcooked. But the stand out for me was actually their stir fried tomato beef noodle and their chicken chow mein. I vastly prefer these two compared to their beef soup noodles. It just has a stronger flavor profile that suits my taste buds more. As for the appetizers, skip the chicken wings.
