My first time trying this location and was craving some authentic thai food! It's located right across from Promenade mall and there's plenty of parking in the back. We ordered the tom yum noodles, pad kee mao and mango salad. I was quite surprised at how much mango they gave!! The dressing was definitely sweeter than viet mango salad though. The tom yum soup base was creamy and delicious but it wasn't spicy at all. I wish there was a little more spice though. The pad kee mao was good and it reminded us of the chinese beef noodle stir fry lol Service was good; the waitresses were knowledgeable and friendly. Restaurant was clean and spacious! We have been a few times now. The taro fries are long and thick now, not thin and curly like it used to be. I liked it better before. Ordered the smoked chili clams and the flavour was nice but too salty and also most of the clams had sandy crunchy bits. Either that or there were little bits of shell in the sauce that led to crunchy bites. It wasn't enjoyable having sand or shell parts in the mouth with every bite. For that reason I wouldn't order this dish again. read more

Yes to Tom Yum hot pot! Savoury and delicious tom yum broth with ample toppings of tiger shrimp, scallops, mussels, squid and tomatoes and mushrooms. One pot is sufficient for 3-4 servings. We also ordered a fried noodle dish, I like that the noodles are the wide flat noodle that is silky smooth with just a beautiful soy sauce profile and crunchy veggies. Dessert of fried banana ice cream comes with choice of sauce - chocolate or coconut. Although service is fast, it is not the most thoughtful. We finished our entrees before we got water or napkins :P they probably will do better in service during non-rush hours. Otherwise nothing to complain about. Restaurant looks clean, nice and modern. Visited this spot for dinner once and again for lunch, and both times were well done. For dinner, we had the khao soi, sweet and sour fish, and the veggie fresh roll that the waitstaff recommended. I definitely loved the fish: crispy and fried, not the healthiest, but topped with plenty of veggies which helped balance it out. The khao soi was good, rich and a bit heavy, topped with crunchy noodles. The veggie fresh roll was definitely a highlight and a great complement to the meal without making us feel overly full. I love how colorful it is and a good balance to the meal. For lunch, we went with a few of the classic options. I chose the pad Thai, while my friend had the massaman curry. The lunch special also came with a spring roll and the veggie fresh roll. You can also order from the regular menu at lunch if you prefer. 5/5! Pleasantly surprised with my recent visit here. I remember going here back in the day and it was very much a "food court" vibe kind of food. Today was very different! I absolutely loved it here! I had the thai chicken wings zeed appetizer (my favourite! Highly recommend!), pad gra pao pork (this was great but I thought needed more Thai basil), masaman curry beef (yummy), and the khao soi chicken (so good!). I was too full to order desserts but I would have definitely wanted to try the mango sticky rice. They also had some cool cocktails and drinks that I would love to try next time. I'm a fan! Meant to just have a quick lunch but ended up with a full-on feast. We had Tom Yum Soup, Som Tum, Pineapple Fried Rice, and Khao Soi noodles. For myself, I added the Eat BKK Paradise mocktail, and we closed it off with the FBI (Fried Banana Ice Cream) for dessert. Everything we ordered came out looking like IG worthy, but it wasn't just the look. Flavours were solid across the board. Seafood in the soup was surprisingly big and fresh, especially considering the price. Ingredients all felt like they were picked with care, and each dish had its own bold personality without being overpowering. The mocktail was actually really good. Refreshing, light, and not overly sweet like some places tend to do. But to be honest, with how flavour-packed the food was, I didn't even feel like I needed a drink to "refresh" in between. Got takeout from here the other evening and I thought they did a great job! The khao soi came deconstructed with the broth separate from the noodles and herbs which was separate from the crunchy noodles to avoid sogginess. Not a lot of places offer this northern Thai dish so I was impressed they did! They provided the option of adding spice to the dishes and it definitely made it a good heat so probably fine to omit unless you really like it spicy. Their taro fritters are essentially French fries made with taro instead of potato but made for a unique dish and with a plum sauce like dipping sauce. The portion of fritters was quite large and perfect for sharing among a large group. They had some really unique specials that I would like to try next time! read more

I came here on a Sunday evening, around 6 pm, as a table of 8. We made reservations prior to, just in case, to ensure seating for our big group. The place was steadily busy but there were still empty tables on a constant basis for anyone who walked in. We walked into an already set table with plates, cutlery, cups, and water, alongside menus. Upon entering, the first thing I noticed was how "stuffy" and hot it felt. It did cool down as the night went on, I believe because they kept the front door open. Though the restaurant isn't big, their layout was very good, making it feel spacious and comfortable to dine-in. We ordered the following: - Thai Platter: This came with taro fritters which were very light, crispy, and not greasy at all! It also came with 4 of each spring rolls, summer rolls, wings zeed (very flavorful), and chicken satay (good sized pieces). Hence, this is great for sharing and trying out all their different appetizers. This is served with plum sauce, peanut sauce and lime chilli sauce (which was sour and salty, a little strange). - Smoked Chilli Clams: this was very flavorful and tasty. It also came with a big side of rice, which was nice to mix the sauce with. - Mango Salad: the green mango chunks were on the thicker side and resembled fries with a tart flavor profile. This was paired with onion, carrot, mint, bell pepper, peanut and cashew nuts. - Shrimp Pad Thai: there was a good amount of shrimp added and they were pretty big and tender as well. Overall, I wish this dish had more flavor. - Pineapple Fried Rice with Chicken: though Pad Thai is usually my go-to, I actually preferred this Pineapple Fried Rice as it was very flavorful and not greasy. I'd definitely ordering this again. - Mango Sticky Rice: this was one of the highlights of the meal, very well-made! You can't try this spot out without ordering their mango sticky rice. - Crispy Milk Roti with Coconut Milk Sauce: this was an interesting dessert to try. I didn't like that it had an oily feel and taste to it, but it was quite yummy. As a table of 8, the gratuity of 18% was automatically added. This felt a little steep for the service we received. Our server was amazing and you could tell she was doing her best, but the place was understaffed, not having enough people to service the size of the place. Many times, we found ourselves trying to wave someone down but found it difficult since we were at the back of the restaurant and the two employees were very busy running the whole place by themselves. As an example, we ran out of water on many occasions and had difficulty getting refills. Extremely disappointed with my recent pickup order -- especially as a regular customer. I found a piece of glass in the food, which is incredibly dangerous. When I called to report it, the manager refused to accept that it could have come from their kitchen and showed no apology at all. All they kept saying was to go to the hospital and they would cover the cost -- but we are in Canada, where medical care is already free. That is not the point. What is missing is basic accountability and concern for customer safety. They also promised a refund and a follow-up call, but neither happened. It is frustrating and disheartening to be treated this way, especially after consistently supporting their business. This kind of negligence and response is unacceptable. I am sharing this to warn others -- please be cautious if you are ordering from here. read more

I was so pleasantly surprised to discover this new location of eat BKK, finally bringing one of our go to Thai restaurants to the uptown region. The interior is much larger than the other locations in North York, which is ++, as they were always so busy and we had to wait for seats. The servers here were super friendly, and since they are still relatively newly opened, be on the lookout for some daily specials they might have! We had ordered their Their Chicken Pad Thai here is such a classic, and even when I returned the next week to grab takeout for a company event, was a favorite amongst everyone. We also ordered the Beef Khao Soi this time, and we did feel that this dish was not as flavourful, which we did mention to the server. They were extremely receptive to all feedback and definitely made us feel super welcome here! read more

1. Food - good! Came out hot. Green curry chicken, cashew chicken, beef pad see ew were all tasty. We asked for curry dish to be very spicy and I think that was a mistake as it took away from the flavor. One criticism was that the curry was too runny. Service - we reserved our table for dinner and the server sat us at the wrong table so she apologetically asked us to move. When we asked for water we had to ask more than once. It was busy at the time but with the spicy food it would have been nice to get it fast. We ordered three dishes. Two came very quickly. We finished them and the third hadn't arrived yet. We had to ask a server for its whereabouts and then he brought it. It was very hot so maybe it just took longer to prepare but I actually think they forgot about it. We went to this new place with a bit of curiosity. I understand there are not many Thai restaurants in the area so it worth giving it a try... To our pleasant surprise, the place was AMAZING!!! Not only they have the most traditional dishes from the Thai cuisine, but they also have some "signature" specialities we will take care off in our next visits!
