Do not make the mistake of ordering the quiche unless your bringing it back to somewhere you can heat it up....and even at that beware. We didn't have such a place and the staff didn't mention it would be cold. Very disappointing and there was also a big hunk of something like sausage in it that I couldn't chew. Ok, changing my review after a rude response from the owner. The owner's response to C-19 protocol is to leave your small children outside by themselves as there is only one person per group inside. I respect the fact this is your protocol and just wanted folks to know they will be asked to leave there small children unattended outside alone if you are the only adult. I've been going to this bakery since it opened its doors. Every time I walk in, I am greeted with a smile and a friendly hello from either the owner or her lovely staff behind the counter. This weekend was the first opportunity I had to custom order a large quantity of goodies for a party. The owner, Danielle, worked with me in a short amount of time to put together a beautiful spread of different tarts for my family's baby shower. She was even willing to consider doing some of her specialties that she's done in months past. Presentation is always on point and the berry tarts that she made looked flawless even after travel and being set out for the guests. The shop was pretty and clean. The selection was small- my daughter was looking for doughnuts or something tiny, and the server recommended a Brewster bun for her, which she didn't like. I tried it and it was a little too chewy and dry, maybe because it was later in the morning and not as fresh. I also tried a cheese danish, which was large with a too-dry texture, and the small spot of cheese in the center was tangy. This place was hyped up to me and I don't understand why. read more

Somehow I got there before it was crazy busy picked up my pies and walked past the line growing out the door. The pies were unbelievable a chocolate cream (that was my favorite) and apple and pumpkin! Can't wait for this thanksgiving to get more! So yesterday was a coworkers Birthday she loves Brewster Buns so I popped in to get some goodies. I hadn't eaten breakfast so $40 later I had the goods haha. I got two items for myself to try that I had never had there before. A ham and cheese croissant which I always love from anywhere. But this one ruined others for me!! This was the most amazing croissant I ever tasted, I heated it up in microwave at work and the salon was sooooo jealous it smelt amazing tasted amazing it was just incredible!!! So glad we went here on day one ( and every day for a week lol). I think we were able to try everything over the course of a week. We stopped at Eat Cake 4 Breakfast on our last day on the Cape, and enjoyed some of the most delicious pastries I've ever had outside France. We are from Upstate NY and booked our vacation before Covid hit, and spent months thinking we wouldn't go, but in the end decided we could do it safely by bringing the majority of our own food and mostly sticking to the beach and rental cottage. But on our way out of town we decided to stop for some pastries and I was so impressed by the safety measures at this establishment. It was a relief to feel safe and know that the staff was safe serving us, as travelers. And now that I'm home, I wish I grabbed some extra items (although truthfully they would not have made it home) because the pastries we bought were so incredible. I've been visiting the Cape and going to eat cake for a long time. They recently moved to a larger location. The owner and her staff are fantastic and informative. Due to COVID they have a strict but efficient social distancing policy. 1 person in per party (unless you have a small child with you) and a U shaped line to bring you through. To make it easier for patrons they will show you the menu outside and one of the staff greeters is very friendly and informative about what is on the menu and the ingredients. I never waited long and the reward of my beloved Brewster Bun was always worth it. Other things worth mentioning are their croissants. Their quiche (they will not heat it up due to COVID) but take home and heat or enjoy it cold it's worth it! Pretty much everything is delicious and made with love. This is not a factory or a donut shop or a diner. This is a specific menu and everything is made with obvious love and care. You can also mobile order and they have delivery. They are a small business trying hard to have all enjoy and keep people safe in the process. What could be wrong about that? The food is worth any "hassle" if you can call it that. So disappointed today. We drove about 25 minutes as we've been to the bakery before and loved it. Today we ordered coffee, which was excellent, and then a cheese danish, the highly touted pistachio chocolate croissant and an almond croissant! The pastries were so heavy and dense and the pistachio croissant couldn't be cut and there was essentially no chocolate to be found. Felt like we ate sinkers for breakfast. We went there for a late breakfast. We had ham and cheese croissant and smoked turkey and asiago croissant. Between both, we prefered the smoked turkey croissant. At first bit of the croissant, I feel like it was a yesterday croissant since the puff dough wasn't crispy. I would recommand to heat it up a bit. In the oven to get the crispyness of a croissant. The almond croissant was generous and well covered with grilled sliced almonds. I was disapointed by the greek yogurt pana cotta. Since Eat Cake 4 Breakfast has reopened in their new location, I have been disappointed in their baked goods, to say the least. Their pastries and croissants used to be so fresh and light & flaky, they melted in your mouth. Since reopening, the pastries and croissants have been dense and heavy, and just not fresh. I'm not sure if they are selling products that were made the day before or freezing them, but the quality is not the same. I really hope they consider this and go back to the exceptional quality that brought me back to this bakery again and again. I gave it 3 tries since they reopened in their new location and I don't think I will be back anytime soon. Possibly, I'll try back this summer... read more

This Bakery is amazing. My family ordered several different croissants, Danish, and of course Brewster buns. All were outstanding!! It's worth the trip, and price. You get what you pay for. If you want hand made, fresh ingredients, and baked good made with pride and care then you have found your Utopian eatery. My family will be coming back here - maybe by the end of the week..... Well I made it back here only a few days later and had the pistachio encrusted chocolate croissant- simply incredible. It was made more enjoyable that it was WARM. What a huge surprise at 10:30. Came here for the second time. Tried the lemon tart and the Brewster bun. The Brewster bun was amazing--one of the freshest and softest things I've ever put in my mouth. But the lemon tart was disappointing--the crust was practically inedible it was so hard (really seemed overbaked). The filling was good, but def not worth $5. read more

Delicious. Croissants were flaky and light. My fave, the almond ($4.50) is FILLED with a delicious not-too-sweet almond paste and the outside is covered in almonds. So so good. Well worth the 20 minute drive from Dennis Port. Baker doesn't use shortening or vegetable oil, just good 'ol fashioned butter. Mmmm butter. We thought this would be a sit down place, it's not.
