Overall, we enjoyed our visit. We started with the banh bao which was good. I had the sizzling pancakes which were delicious. My daughter had the beef short rib pho. The meat was a bit tough and the broth was too salty for our tastes. We had reservations because it was a Saturday night and we were on our way to a show but I don't think we needed them. We were seated at a window table and served right away. However, as the restaurant got busier, we were never checked on again - meaning our water was never refilled and none of our dirty plates were taken away. We sat for a good 15 minutes before I could get someone's attention to get our check. I couldn't tell if our server was just being polite and letting us sit, or if she was too busy to get to us as it seemed she was the only one on the floor taking orders. Tried it for the first time tonight with a friend and honestly considering going back tomorrow with my husband for our date night! I got the #27- some sort of spicy noodle dish, the broth was flavorful and perfectly spicy. I tried my friend's #1 and it didn't have the spice I love but was incredibly flavorful and rich as well, I may order it and add some spice next time :) It was well decorated. Service wasn't particularly quick, but I wasn't in a hurry at all so I was fine with that. Will be back! read more

I will reiterate what others have said in their reviews. The atmosphere and food is terrific. The bahn mi bread is crusty on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Overall, the lemongrass chicken bahn mi was great. I enjoyed my lime soda. Our service was friendly but largely absent. The worst part was that we did not receive one of two entrees. Unfortunately, we had to leave bc we were on a schedule to see a play. I would go back to Eating Fresh bc the food we had was delicious but I would keep in mind that it is a longer dinner experience, and I do acknowledge that mistakes happen. read more

I stopped in to get a Vietnamese iced coffee. The service was very friendly- I even got a brief tour of the restaurant while my coffee was being made :) The waitress made me a sample of cane sugar juice from their juicer, made with real sugar cane that she juiced for me fresh- so yummy! I saw how the Vietnamese coffee was made as well. It took a bit of time for it to brew as it was made fresh, and it was delicious! We look forward to trying their food soon! read more

My friend and I ate here last night! We loved the Special Pho, Spicy Beef Pho and the spring rolls with peanut sauce. The broth was divine and I devoured it all. We left and went to Chick fil a. Me and my family went to try what looked like a nice new restaurant and when we got there everything looked super nice. We asked to sit at a hot pot/grill table and we sat and everything seemed very nice. When we ordered we were told that pretty much every thing including steak we couldn't order because we couldn't grill the steaks without the chef there. Not sure why the chef wouldn't be there on a busy Saturday night but that beefs me. So we were told the only thing we could grill was a beef dish so my son ordered it. It was brought out 15 mins before anyone else got their food and it was already cooked for some reason. Our waitress just said oops I guess she already cooked which makes no sense when it's supposed to come for you to cook. Then me and my husband's meal were mediocre at best. My husband had this steak dish but for some reason our waitress waited 10 mins to bring him the sauce for it and by that time he was finished. Will not be coming back here again. read more

I love Pho, so when I saw there'd be one much closer to me than my fave, I got super excited. A friend and I went in months ago and we were told it was the soft opening so they had a limited menu. I forget what we tried but remember it being good! I went again when they were fully open and tried their Pho. I also ordered a sugarcane juice and was suggested to watch my waitress make it. I appreciated the fact that the juice was handmade and the pho was delicious as well. Our experience was frustrating. As many of us, we drove by multiple times during their build out so going there was anticipated! I thought it would be fun for my kid to see the food cooked on the hot plates on the tables. We went in on a Friday and I purposely sat at a table with a cooking top when we were told to sit anywhere. The waitress come over with no menus but asked us what we wanted to drink without actually telling us what they had. When I asked for menus we were handed two stapled papers that were very difficult to read, no prices, and many menu items that were listed read "coming tomorrow" so we couldn't actually order them. I ended up ordering pho because I knew that but I still wanted to order something from the grill since that's the original reason we came. The menu was so limited we ended up just choosing a NY strip, something simple. After we ordered we were then informed they aren't cooking on the grills even though they posted videos to their Instagram. We just felt a little tricked because it steak came with no sides and was $50. The food was good but oof, I can't say I'll go back after such feeling a little tricked and paying such a high price. I would have never ordered the steak if I knew the price plus with experience removed. Even on their Yelp page I feel tricked. The food photos aren't their food, it's stock images. read more

We had a wonderful experience at eating fresh. That is exactly what it is. The vegetables were beautiful, the pho flavorful, hot and perfectly done. The decor is lovely, warm and understated. The restaurant is very clean and everything is prepared to order, thus making it possible to leave out anything you don't want. We highly recommend this restaurant and hope you will support it. A relative from Santa Cruz, California, introduced me to my neighborhood's Eating Fresh restaurant where she had been 5 days earlier on her way from the airport. I loved my fried fish cake banh mi stacked with fresh vegetables; she raved about the Pho had earlier with its delicious broth and her salad served with quail eggs and tofu. The restaurant looks really hip from the outside. We walked in and thought we were in a spa. The music was soft and soothing. We asked to sit at a barbecue table thinking we could use it. The music became this disjointed, jazz bullshit and so did the rest of the meal. we were told we couldn't use the grill because the head chef was out shopping. We were told the only thing we could use the grill for what is this wrapped meat dish that they ended up cooking for us anyway. I guess the tacit message was we weren't going to use the grill. So what I ordered was not available. The waitress suggested some meat and egg dish which I had to choke down because for some reason it took 10 minutes to bring out the dipping sauce. my wife loves pho. This pho tasted like tea. She said that if this was the first time she had eaten pho, it would be the last. I hope they are able to get their shit together. We will give them another try in about a month maybe. If I didn't have to select a star...I wouldn't. Small family dinner, excited to try. Made reservations...no need. There were 3 tables at main dinner hour on a Monday. Was not acknowledged for 15 minutes. I was early, so I approached the only person I saw and requested to order appetizers. He didn't come to the table for another 10 minutes. Didn't acknowledge the wait and could seemingly care less. When everyone arrived we waited on appetizers and cocktails...watched him turn away a couple and told then it would be 30 minutes! There were only 3 tables? cocktails were never delivered, appetizers came out piecemeal and was so frustrated we paid and left - no dinner. I understand being short staffed but you can at least act like us being there mattered and appreciate the fact we were patient - until we weren't. Didn't care and wont be going back! I had no clue they were in a "soft opening" but it shouldnt have mattered - courtesy and communication and efficiency etc should be expected by a paying customer. If they can't handle 3 tables - can't imagine what a full restaurant will produce. read more
