This was a terrible experience, in all the ways it could have been. First, our service was unfriendly, unhelpful and extremely slow, despite the fact that there were only 2 other tables in the restaurant. Our party of 5 ordered spring rolls and edamame to start. The spring rolls were fine, and we were making our way through the edamame when my daughter found a worm in her food. A WORM. We called our server over and she had no idea how to handle the situation. She took a photo of it and then awkwardly took the food away. No apology. She just said she wouldn't charge us for that dish. I will say it was hard for me to view the food quality in a positive way after that. I got my special pho first, and sat. And sat, and sat, while we waited at least 10 minutes between each dish to arrive at our table, painfully one by one. We ordered banh mi and fried rice, so nothing complicated. The food was extremely mediocre. All the while, the restaurant seemed to have no functioning hoods or vents. The entire room was filled with a haze that smelled of fried food, which is now coating everything we had with us while dining. Sorry, but this place is lacking some basic functions that it needs to fix if it wants to survive. This was quite a disappointment. read more

This place is very clean and trendy looking. You can get some grilled meats or order from the menu, I opted for the latter and got the spring rolls and meatballs with vermicelli noodles. Everything did taste fresh and seemed like it was healthy. Food came out very quickly and service was good. This place always seems empty; come show it some love! read more

My family and I love this restaurant. The staff is welcoming and the food is amazing!! I got the Spicy Beef Noodle Soup and my dad got the Pork Roll Bahn Mi. Let me start off by saying I had really high hopes for this new fancy vietnamese restaurant. I grew up in California in a traditional Vietnamese household (my aunt owned a Vietnamese restaurant) so I'm very empathetic to new small business owners. We ordered a lot of items - everything was ok - the best and most memorable was the pho (I will say it's the best pho in Indy) that's why they get 4 stars- they lost a star due to lack of details. It is a new place and they are still working out the kinks. I'm looking forward to visiting again in the future and I hope to see improvements. read more

My First time going to a Vietnamese restaurant. Bougie is the best word to describe their menu. We ordered 3 different types of plates and to be honest I expected more. The Roasted Duck Banh Mi was flavorful but not with $17 for me. The Short Rib Rice Dish was good. It was seasoned well but we made it a premium, more meat, and it didn't seem like much was added. Spicy Beef Noodle was a level 3 and my friend said it would've been one level up but he enjoyed it. Our server was knowledgeable and helpful. It wasn't very busy when we got in. They have a nice bar and a couple big screens to watch the game. It was nice and I enjoyed the food but I don't think the price matched the meals we had. read more

The food was good but the service was horrible! We arrived for dinner before a show. When we were seated there was one other table seated and only three tables were seated while we were there. They were not busy. It took 20 minutes before anyone came to our table. We ordered starters and mains right away. Another 20 minutes goes by and the waitress brings out our mains! When I asked about the starters the waitress said "Oh, you want those now?" What? We finished our starters and again waited. We barely finished our meal before we needed to leave. Great food- very fresh and tasty! Enjoyed our service- we stayed for quite awhile- the owner even came out to say hello!! Lots of options- can get a reasonably priced tasty pho (one bowl is enough to share or take home for later) and /or appetizers or take it up a notch for a hot pot or cook your own meal (like Benihana's but more personal) that's a bit more $ but we had such a great time - it's was worth it to us!!! The best Vietnamese food I have had in Indianapolis so far! Forgot to take pictures of everything...got the fresh rolls which had a good amount of shrimp pork and vegetables. The peanut sauce it was served with was nice the thick. We got the papaya salad with tofu. It was served with rice crackers. Perfect amount of spicy and sweet with nicely toasted tofu. We all got the garlic chicken wings which were sooo good. You didn't really need a sauce with them they were so flavorful and juicy. Then we got the bbq pork banhmi, the duck banhmi, and the roasted pork and egg stew which was served with rice. the bahnmis were the best I have had in Indy. A good amount of meat with mayo and pickled veggies. But let me tell you the pork and egg stew will keep me coming back over and over and over. It was so flavorful yet light, the pork was extremely tender and even the egg had so much flavor !!! Also don't sleep on the egg coffee. So unique and rich!! read more

If there is an option for 0 stars, I'd rather put that. My family and I went here for a Monday night dinner. We hadn't seen each other in a few weeks due to busy schedules. The restaurant had one sever on duty and almost positive no chef. The place had 5 tables, but the services was horrible. Got food before we got waters, had to approach only employee in restaurant to get appetizers going, paid as the employee poured us our waters. The food was also incredibly bad. In the short time we were there ordered spring rolls and chicken wings, took one bite and tasted terrible. Horrible experience, paid for what we ordered and cancelled what had yet to come out. Didn't understand if it was understaffed due to COVID or just not ready to be in such a populated area. The restaurant put us all in such a bad mood one ended up leaving, will never recommend as a spot to hit in BR. What a great find! The food was phenomenal! A diverse menu with a lot of options. Plenty of vegetarian options if that's your thing. Loved how they use the space very warm atmosphere. This is a new upscale Vietnamese restaurant in Broad Ripple. The food is amazing - we had The chicken lemongrass hot pot. Service was wonderful - the chef came out twice to ask if everything was good. The restaurant has a beautiful, warm interior AND the restaurant is right across the street from a public parking deck. I stopped in to order some food to go. This restaurant is gorgeous and should be ate in, but i sat at the bar while I waited. There were so many meat options for banh mi that all looked wonderful. With help from the waitress, I selected the duck banh mi. This was the best banh mi I have ever had. The pate is house made and also the best I have ever had. I wanted goi rolls and the waitress suggested beef for my meat option, they were also delicious with an amazing dipping sauce. I had a sugar cane juice while I waited which was fabulous. We've had this on our list to try for a while- and finally made it there today for lunch (sans kids). They did a lot of work to make the interior as cool as it is, each table has a hot pot/cook top, which is unique in Indy. We'll have to come back for one of those meals. My husband tried the sugar cane drink, which was super fresh and delicious. We shared an order of 2 grilled spring rolls with pork, which were made to order, fresh and crunchy and the dipping sauce added the perfect flavor. We both had the noodle bowl, hubby with beef mine with pork. It came with a side of special fish sauce, which I used sparingly, but added the some of the spicy lemongrass paste that was in a jar on each table- That added a heat and depth of flavor that was **chef's kiss**. Such fresh food, excellent flavor and balance of texture. We will certainly be back to try other items- including the table top cooking option and pho on a cool weather day. read more

I'll start off with the good, which is the food. I have no complaints about that. The restaurant itself was also decorated nicely. I have to admit, this is the second time that I've tried the place. The first time, the party that I was with, we decided to walk out because we had waited a good 45 min before getting water. This was also at the time when it first opened. Understood that there are a few kinks that need to be worked out. Having waited at least 6 months, we decided to try again. This time, we watched another family walk out as they were not served for at least an hour. We saw another lady wait a good 45 minutes before anyone took her order. The dishes at our table were not served together. My food, while good, was cold. Our friend's pho was forgotten to be put in, but luckily it came out quick after we mentioned she did not receive her food. I had also placed a to go order, which I waited an extra 45 minutes before it was ready and this was after multiple times inquiring about the order. Both the chef and waitress were kind. We had such an amazing time here! We the beef hot pot for four which was absolutely delicious. The name is accurate - everything was super fresh and they even brought out extra for us on the house! Our waitress was attentive but gave us plenty of time to enjoy & relax. It was truly a delicious meal and a great laid back night with family. Finally tried Eating Fresh today and it did not disappoint! Place is beautiful with a very inviting upscale atmosphere. Our waitress, Nerlande, was very sweet and attentive and offered great suggestions. She made my husband the best fresh lime soda that he will be craving until we go back. It's a must try. We started with egg rolls that were so lite and crispy. I had the #34 Rice Noodle Bowl with Beef and it it was fantastic. The beef was crispy yet tender just the way it should be . My husband had the Roasted Pork Banh Mi. The bun was soft inside and crispy outside just the way he likes it. The Pork was wonderfully tender. We will absolutely be going back. This place place is by far THE BEST Vietnamese restaurant in all of Indianapolis. The beef broth based phos are to die for. It's so clean yet flavorful without being too rich. I typically add a little hoisin or siracha to balance hinge out but this one tasted so clean and pure I just can't do that to it. The banh mis are also delicious! I've had the special and duck and my heavens is it great. This place also has so many traditional Vietnamese dishes you just can't find at other locations even on the west or east coast sometimes ex: beef and bittel leaf. The prices are a bit higher than most in terms to Vietnamese restaurants and I've been to a bit all around the states but with the branding and ambiance they are going for with the splash of extravagance it's worth the experience This place deserves more visitors to come and try it. The chef / owner talks to each and every guest that I've seen here and personally asks how is your dish. You have a greeter and server and the service level is definitely up there. I do see a bit of why there's little foot traffic here as it doesn't fit into the demographic of broad ripple maybe better fit for downtown but this place is sooooooo good and you should at least try the pho once here. The spice level was great. There are lots of choices on the menu, with a few still unavailable as they are getting up and running but you are able to see that online. Overall it was an underwhelming experience and it seems like the restaurant is still trying to find it's identity. The interior was a little confusing, it looked set up to be a sushi bar, but had tables ready for hot pot as well. There are 2 huge TVs, one playing a loop of random world cities the other had reggaeton playing. We ordered a few appetizers and a bowl of pho. The spring rolls tasted pretty average, but I appreciated the homemade effort of the rolls. We also ordered the sausages wrapped in roasted grape leaves and the fish sauce chicken wings. While both were good, we found that lemon grass hot sauce/paste that was on the table was key to adding much needed flavor to everything we had. We put it in the peanut sauce for the spring rolls and the dipping sauce for the sausage rolls. The pho was also decent, but, again, it was helped tremendously by the lemongrass hot sauce. The prices for the pho were pretty steep compared to other Vietnamese restaurants in the city. read more
