Cottage Cheese
Denise K.

Originally, I left this... I'm NEVER one to complain. However, when I get an order like this... I cannot let this go!! We placed an order for four cottage cheeses and two of them came halfway filled. We pay for this to be filled and this is what we get! So not right!!!! 09/24... They rectified this situation and for that, I'm very grateful. I'm very pleased! Thank you!!

Nothing hits quite like an Eat'n Park salad bar!! Was out to lunch with my parents and couldn't pass it up! When we were at this location someone spotted a kiddo with their hands through literally all of the salad bar items and the staff was super swift to shut it down, swap it all out, so efficient and quick - they didn't skip a beat keeping everyone safe and happy! So great to see how much they cared for their guests. My parents also enjoyed the pancakes and kielbasa sandwich and the food was so plentiful they asked for to-go boxes. What a great nostalgic afternoon lunch.

While in Belle Vernon for work, I stopped here a couple of three times. (It's an expression) .... and I gotta tell you: this is one of the few locations left in Western PA that still has a salad bar. The staff are pretty friendly and attentive. The food has been good. I tried a few breakfast items and lunch and also the salad bar is always on point. Soups are fresh and hot and even during busy lunch hour they always find this solo fella a table if I ask for one or I just find a spot at the bar... to my surprise the coffee bean is pretty good here. They really have a good coffee for a diner style restaurant.

First time coming here! Place was very clean, nice atmosphere, and not too crowded. Our service was wonderful, helped by Anna. All food came out hot and super fresh! Bagels were super good, tasted homemade! Definitely go there again!

Basic & average. It's usually busy as it was today, but the problem is, it's dirty. Food & debris ground into the carpet near the booths & tables. It could use a good vacuuming. The salad bar, especially for what it costs, leaves much to be desired. A small, standard amount of vegetables. However, it's often empty of items, plates or utensils. Today the manager said they were bringing out more spoons for the soup & chili but it looks like they grabbed the wrong container. They were all dirty. Overall, the salad bar is not worth $12.99. Other food items are just OK. I personally feel you'd do better at a small, family-owned diner. Then, when you're done and ready to leave, you have to wait forever for them to come take your card to pay. Antiquated and slow.

For us, Eat'n Park was a safe bet to eat before heading to the stadium. No wait, the service is good and the food is okay. Reminds me a lot of Denny's. They have a variety of items on the menu and all you can eat bar. My whole party ordered the all you can eat. It was packed with a variety of breakfast items. Eggs, bacon, pancakes, etc. They even got a little festive for the holidays by adding some thanksgiving sides. Unlimited coffee! Plenty of sitting, nice and peaceful. Definitely go again.

The service was outstanding -- helpful but not intrusive. The bad news is that because I was meeting a friend that I had not seen in a long time, I was so involved with our conversation that I completely forgot to take menu pictures or even food pictures -- the horror! We started our food adventure here with one of the seasonal specialties -- the "Yammin Kegs" -- which looked like a rather large tater tot -- but made of sweet potatoes with cinnamon and maple. The serving had about eight, a shareable size. They were quite good on their own, but it was the bourbon caramel sauce on the side that turned this into more of a dessert where ordering another was very tempting. For the entree, the seasonal soup and salad, a red pepper and gouda soup and a grilled provolone and American cheese sandwich made with sourdough caught my attention. Although seemingly ordinary, it was anything but that. The soup had enough of a bite from the red pepper to keep it out of the bland, and the sandwich was toasted perfectly with the right amount of crunch to counter the gooey-cheese. I don't know -- maybe it was being together with a good friend and the conversation that made this simple meal stand out -- but it did and that's going to stay with me. This will be a visit-again place the next time I'm in the area.

We drove up to this strip plaza and walked into what we expected as a local diner. We were greeted and seated to a mostly empty place. Menu was very large with tons of options and a special menu. Kids ordered the breakfast specials and the rest of the travellers had an omelette, soup and sandwich, country fried steak and some sort of beef on a pita. Food came out quickly, hot and everyone loved their meal. My chicken fried steak was fabulous and the bread the offered seemed to be homemade. It's a dinner in the middle of nowhere but the quality and quantity far exceeded our expectations. Ambiance is what you expect for a place in the middle of small town USA. Amazing place is you are coming back from visiting one of Frank Wright's POI.

I had to try the burnt ends and the three piece Pork meat plate. The pulled Pork, Brisket, ham and burnt ends were all good..it was very good actually. Highly recommended the Mac and cheese too.... Based on those posts, we expected somewhat of an elevated experience. We couldn't have been more disappointed. We were there on a lunch buffet day. It was a health code nightmare. If no one got sick from that buffet food it was pure luck. Nothing was covered. The buffet table had no heat except lamps. The potatoes and green beans were cold. I didn't try the chicken. The temperatures were all off, generally stone cold. The Italian beef looked absolutely disgusting, red and dried out. The wedding soup was literally sitting on a table in a metal pan unheated. The iceberg salad sat on the same table also not cooled and the cups of ranch dressing sat unchilled and uncovered next to it. The pastas were both cold. The Alfredo was bland but the marinara was good. The pizza looked good and was hot, but I didn't like the texture or flavor. My wife thought it was average pizza. We had higher hopes for the BBQ platter since it was coming from the kitchen. It was simply ok. Despite waiting quite a while for the platter, it arrived lukewarm. Assuming BBQ is made ahead of time, heating it up correctly is about the only thing that needed to happen, yet it did not. The pulled pork and brisket were ok, nothing special. No dipping sauce was served for the brisket or turkey which was odd. The pulled pork was drizzled with sauce. I don't like turkey so I didn't eat it. We both agreed that the green beans side was by far the best food of the meal. The server came out of the kitchen with the meat platter, but stopped to scoop cold green beans from the buffet. I had to ask for them to be microwaved. After bringing the food temperature to staff attention, they only charged us half price for the buffet. The effort was appreciated, but they shouldn't have been serving anything from that buffet except the pizza. The place was clean, but they were clearly having staffing issues. Ambiance was a 3 out of 10. I had wanted to return another time to try a crab dish, but that is highly unlikely. The worst part was while waiting to pay my bill for a bad meal, I got to watch several beautiful pictures of amazing food pass by on the lobby tv screen that don't resemble anything I saw or ate here today. It literally looks like another restaurant's ads.
