Oh my gosh Eat'n Park is good. My hubby and I are visiting WV and stopped here for breakfast. I had the Italiano breakfast wrap and he had the cheesesteak sandwich. Both were great. They also had a nice breakfast bar if you wanted a little of everything. The service was good and it was very clean. We came late for breakfast so after we ate they were changing over to the salad bar. They wiped down all the surfaces and washed out the basins. Very well done. A Southwestern Pennsylvania staple. Nothing fancy, it's a chain, but with a mom and pop feel. I give them credit, they're always trying new items. Always known for their famous Superburgers for decades. Today, I tried the new Bacon Jam burger. Two fresh hand-pressed burgers come topped with bacon, bacon jam, American cheese, lettuce, and tomato. Now featuring fresh hand-pressed burger patties! I added caramelized onions. It was great, loved it! Fresh bun, two juicy smashed burgers, the bacon jam had great flavor, they put plenty of it on. With the cheese, bacon, onions, and I always add Ranch dressing. Completely average A-OK experience. Passing through the area this was one of the very few restaurants open to diners. Service up front for seating and order was very good. The place is worn down and in need of a renovation. Breakfast of waffle, eggs and bacon was produced in a fair time and hot. However nothing special here. The coffee was pretty blah! Slow service, our server was disengaged with our table, complaining while she was bussing the table next to us, and then even got into a verbal argument with another server on the dining room floor while we were there. Completely unprofessional, and I would recommend that you don't eat here. read more

If you like Eat'n Park overall, you'll probably like this Eat'n Park. They have the usual extensive menu, breakfast all day, and yes: the buffet. (The Plague couldn't keep it down forever!) And they have Smileys, of course - always a must at Eat'n Park. When I've eaten here it's been with pretty large groups, so my friends and I are often seated in a back room that's separate from the main dining area; it's set up specifically so large groups have multiple tables and are in their own space. The staff are always super nice and do a great job handling the multiple checks, the orders, the requests, etc. Admittedly it can sometimes take a couple of reminders when you need a refill or something that like. But (these days especially) the team always deserves a smile and a friendly "excuse me please" as they do their job. Food-wise, I've ordered off the menu as well as opted for the buffet here. Both are solid options. (At the time of my writing this review they also offer takeout as a third option - presumably, they began doing so in 2020.) I personally tend to order off the menu if I'm adhering to stricter meal planning that day; meanwhile, the buffet is there for when I just can't pick one thing and/or am feeling particularly hungry. Either way, Eat'n Park is a fairly tasty and affordable place to grab a bite. I'm sure I'll be back again with my friends in the near future. read more

Very nice people and not crowded on a Tuesday afternoon for lunch. However upon ordering hot tea my server told me they "did not have hot water" ???? Then when order I g garden side salad I was told the lettuce was wilted in the back and I could pay extra to have a salad from the salad bar. Very disappointing experience. read more

The place was filthy!!! Tables were not bussed. The table and seat we were seated in were dirty. The floor looked like it had not been vacuumed for a week. I asked the hostess for a rag to wipe table and she wanted to do it for me. I insisted to have the rag and went into rest room to wet it. Thank god I did becaise the rag was filthy too. I had to rinse it with soap 4 times before the rag dirt was clear. Your staff is cleaning table with that????? If this is the dinning room where people SEE, I'd hate to see the kitchen. Here's the thing. You're driving down I 70 and you're hungry. So you ask Google maps of there are any restaurants in the next hour or so. There's Texas Roadhouse... nah, that takes too long. Since family diner or another... nah, doesn't appeal right now. Oh! Eat 'n Park! Right off the highway, decent prices... Perfect! Except... There's no takeout. Seating takes ten minutes. There's no cashier in sight... And an hour later, we're finally on the road again. There's nothing particularly wrong with the restaurant. The service is fine, the food is decently priced and tastes fine. But it's certainly not ideal if you're on your way through and don't want to get home 1/2 later than you'd planned. read more

Thought we'd keep it light tonight and go out for the soup and salad buffet. We have not been to this location in a while and were disappointed with the quality of produce. The lettuce was wilted to the point it should have been tossed in a composter. The waitress was very nice and provided good service. I understand the prices have gone up with the insane inflation, but that increase should be keeping a quality product available. I'll give eat and park a shot at another location because we have been going there for years, but I doubt we risk this one again. read more

Pedestrian food. Bland and halfhearted. They have really slid down hill quite a distance. They are maybe one step above the Waffle House currently or one step below the truck stop. At least they didn't screw up the fries. More expensive than bob Evans and half as good. read more

I grew up with Eat n Park and have a nostalgic connection to it but this place is really phoning it in at this point. My wife ordered a burger and was very specific that it should be well done and with pepper Jack. It came out medium rare with American. Also the fries are very blah. The service was great! Loved our waitress as she was very attentive! I got the soup and salad bar and so did two of my family members. The salad bar was well kept and had a nice variety of fruits and vegetables. HOWEVER...If you need to use the restroom facilities, I'd suggest you go to the nearest gas station. There was feces running down the sides of both toilets, running down to the floors. The floors and walls were gross and the sinks were also unsanitary with dirt and grime all over them. I understand places are short staffed. I do try to make a conscious effort to be more understanding in today's world, but it takes literally 5 minutes to clean a toilet inside and out. It is VERY obvious these restrooms have not been cleaned today, yesterday or possibly the entire week! I brought it to the manager's attention so I'm keeping my fingers crossed, and hoping for future customers, the facilities will be regularly maintained. read more

We have eaten at this Eat N Park location the last couple of times we've stayed in Washington. We tend to stay here on our drives back East, it's a good stopping point for us. After 8-9 hours in the car, some diner coffee, a burger and some pie really hit the spot. This location tends to get pretty crowded at dinner time and seems to be a popular spot in Washington. We love to get pie to go to eat at the hotel. I'm a fan of the oreo. Their new turkey burger is pretty good. Prices are super cheap. read more

Staff goes above and beyond to make you feel like family. My grandmother and I go on date nights here mostly for the potato soup and salad bar! They always treat my grandmother so nice and I really appreciate that. We even have waitresses that go as far as to help her box up her food! Quick easy inexpensive and always tasty! read more

This is an OK 24 hour diner in Washington. The service various depending on the waiters. They are usually very abrupt. The food is OK and varies in taste and quality depending on what you order. We had a horrific experience last night. It pains me to write this because we have been going to this restaurant for many, many years. We also did a lot of take out during the quarentine. We arrived at exactly 6:30/ I only know becasue I sent a text as soon as we were seated. At 6:45 we had yet to see any wait staff. My wife went and spoke to the hostess and she took our drink order. At 6:50 we finally met our waitress. She apologized for the delay and said she had to put twenty orders in. We watched her section and she did not HAVE 20 people including us! Anyway we ordered. At 7:30 we still did not have our food except for my wife's cottage cheese. But she had no silverware to eat it with! She went to the hostess to get at least a fork. At 7:45 we asked to see a manager. A female manager came out and gave us the usual talk without actually offering a solution. AT 7:50 our food finally came. I had a fish sandwich and fries. The fries were cold! COngrats Eat and Park - you lost a very loyal customer. read more

For what it is, Eat'n'Park is the best. High quality diner food, reasonable price, friendly servers, with the added bonus of local food! You cannot go wrong with this place at ANY location! And p.s., they have a celiac friendly/gluten free menu section, which is unheard of for virtually any restaurant, let alone a diner-type place. Kudos, EnP, for doing it right. We stopped here to eat while on vacation. It is pretty much a sit down place that has a variety of food kind of like IHOP or something along those lines. It does have an all you can eat salad bar which is nothing fancy too. The food is very average- really right on par with what you would expect from a place like this. The service was good and the atmosphere is plain and rather basic. Overall if you are hungry & just want something to eat then this will work. I do have to say though it was a Tuesday night when we went and it was quite busy. There was even a line of people waiting to be seated at 9 pm. Horrible service, waitress was rude, we were charged for items we never got and drinks took over 30 minutes to get. Food took over 45 minutes to get, never got silverware after asking several times, never got my side yet was charged for it, never got cheese sauce on our fries yet we were charged for it, I contacted corporate and they never responded. This Sunday brunch visit served to remind me why I eat at Eat 'n Park only about once a year. There were no smiles from the young lady who seated me. The buffet is tiny and is in a cramped area where it is uncomfortable if there are more than a few people serving themselves. There are only a few salad selections. The only vegetable was peas. There were some mediocre breakfast foods. The only lunch type entree is fried chicken, which was of the Shake 'n Bake variety: satisfactory: tender and juicy. The fried and mashed potatoes were ordinary. My server made quality checks but did not offer a refill of my empty beverage glass. The cashier asked how everything was, but did not thank me. I could have had so much more and much better quality food and service at Golden Corral. read more

I am very loyal to Eat n Park typically, but this one is Washington is disappointing to say the least. The last time we ate in the restaurant we waited 10 mins to see a server and ordered the Sunday Brunch Buffet - easy right. Nope. Quality of food on the bar was poor waited consistently for plates and soup bowls. Many many containers empty. No drink refills. Server brought initial drinks dropped the check and we didn't see her again. Also we get take out food frequently during the week from local restaurants because of hectic work schedules. The last three pick up window orders have been wrong for varying reasons forgotten sides, wrong orders, no soup or soup that is spilt all over the bag and or styrofoam container. This most to go order from tonight was missing and entire side of mashed potatoes and gravy and the buffalo chicken salad was not buffalo. At all. Not like it had some sauce but not a lot etc. Nope. Straight grilled chicken. Called to let the server know mainly because of the consistent errors as we were cramming in dinner between meetings and could not go back. She stated that she would let her manager know when he was done talking and "if he could do anything he'd call back, but that I shouldn't count on it". And now it has been almost an hour, and no call. It's disappointing. We love EnP but service and quality at this location is frustrating and clearly they aren't concerned. It's a shame. Double check your orders guys if you're getting to gos or have a long time and conserve your beverages if you sit down. read more

My son and I took my husband to breakfast on Father's Day. We wanted the buffet breakfast, so we went here. Big Mistake! Once we were seated, I walked up to view the buffet, before we ordered. It was a very sad situation, there were eight (I counted them) empty pans that once held food on the hot side of the buffet, including bacon and sausage gravy. I told my husband to just order off of the menu, but he thought he could make it work. He ended up with scrambled eggs, hash, grits and toast. My son and I ordered off of the menu. It took our order greater than 30 minutes to arrive. Our waitress kept apologizing for the wait. She was also apologizing to everyone seated around us, who were also waiting on food. When we checked out, the hostess asked me "how was everything?". I began to tell her, and a chorus of angry voices sounded off from behind me in line. Clearly, they did not have enough kitchen staff scheduled for Father's Day, a Sunday. It ruined our breakfast. I would not frequent this restaurant on a holiday ever again. read more
