Kids meal, 99% eaten Brioche French Toast
    Kirby S.

Our experience here was positive! I came with my baby who I had sitting/standing on the booth seat beside me but the do have high chairs available. I didn't catch our server's name but she was nice and gave us exactly what we ordered. I had the French toast and an apple/pomegranate juice that was really good! I could've shared a meal with my son but I decided to just order him his own meal, which were the berry pancakes on the kid's menu. It was honestly (more than) enough for me to eat myself, but the price of about $4.29 for that plus a juice was great. The ambiance was welcoming, everyone was glad to see & talk to us (mostly the baby lol) !

Stopped here for brunch while traveling. We were seated quickly and the service was good. I had hoped to order fried mush, but it's been taken off the menu. The turkey sausage and grits were very good. Clean.

Always a staple for great food, especially breakfast. They have a new dish, the Everything Breakfast, consists of Hash Browns, covered by cheesy scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, and ham. This was delicious, all my faves in one bowl. It comes with chopped tomatoes, but I left them off, personal taste. It comes with a, kind of a pita pocket for bread, it was ok, next time I'll go with toast, but everything else was great, I'll get this again.

The wait was completely ridiculous. So many tables open and yet people were waiting. Worst Bob Evans for service ever.

Slowest takeout service in the world. Had to wait a very long time for takeout order. I don't recommend this location.

So the larger your group is, the harder it will be for you to get a table. Parking can get tricky too. My own gaggle of friends has learned to carpool, and we accept that we won't always be seated directly together. Like any good diner, Dog House's menu has plenty of breakfast options, along with burgers and sandwiches. The menu is simple but solid, and the prices are reasonable. The French toast is my bestie's favorite, and I can confirm that their burgers and Belgian waffle are also quite good. Most recently I ordered the Chicken & Waffles; it was tasty, but I admittedly wish it came with more syrup. Also wouldn't have been upset if it came with one more tender since they were on the smaller side. The staff are very nice and they clearly work as quickly as possible. Of course, their speed is always dependent on how busy the diner is overall. I'll echo other reviewers saying that if you go in expecting to eat at a small town diner, you won't be disappointed. And my recommendation is to order a breakfast item or a burger to get the whole small town diner experience!

A delicious restaurant, a fantastic market, a dairy that makes phenomenal milk and a place for amazing events like the fall festival and events with Santa. They even have special events where groups (and often the general public) can sign up for a tour where you get to learn about their dairy operations and even milk a cow! When you visit in the fall, they have a lot of great themed decorations (as well as activities that you can pay to be a part of). But you can enjoy the festive vibes and decor without doing the whole experience if you are short on time or cash. Their food is delicious! The best way to describe it is homemade comfort food! The friendly staff is knowledgeable and will answer any questions you might have about what certain things are or about ingredients. You can also eat fairly affordably, especially for the portion sizes and homemade, quality ingredients. The shop has a variety of souvenir type items (shirts, magnets, mugs, stuffed animals) but also local products like cheese and candy. They also have bakery items and tasty ice cream. Worth a trip for a delicious meal and fun farm experience!

The market sells a variety of foods and beverages from the family business as well as from other local businesses. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, and catering. My husband and I shopped in the market one time. We saw milks, cheeses, deli meats, salads, baked goods, canned goods, ice creams, candies, and much more. So many delicious foods! We were away from home and had just eaten at another restaurant, so we purchased only two small things--a brookie (a chocolate-chip cookie with a brownie inside) and a small cherry pie. The total price was $11. On the next day, we ate the brookie and the cherry pie at home. They tasted pretty good. Now I feel interested in trying more of their foods and doing a tour of their farm...
