Walking onto EaTo it has a fun atmosphere and you could feel comfortable in your casual clothes or dressed up for a date. It brings a great spring vibe to a winter day. Our group decided to try it out for restaurant week and we were not disappointed. I did the enhanced menu that included a paired wine for each course. Plus, I almost always am out with close friends and get to try bits of their meals and get to share mine. So what did we eat?! To start I had the cheese Puffs and those things were delicious and FULL of cheese. Made for a great cheese pull. I tried some of the Italian salad and that is also packed with added salad topping. I could have eaten a bigger version of that as a meal. I had the Pet Nat Rose to go with it. I thought it was tasty and funky in a good way. I also enjoyed a sip of my friends Aposto Barbera red and enjoyed that. I then ordered the Bolognese which came as a perfect portion size to feel full and the flavor in the pork sausage was awesome. I paired that with the red blend (which I forgot to get a picture of). I also got to taste a piece of my friends Funghi pizza, I love mushrooms and this was packed with it, the flavor of the cheese was great and felt super well balance on topping to cheese to crust ratio. Finally a little Prosecco to go with the adorable and very tasty Cannolis. They are smaller but very good and well filled. I did try the olive oils cake which did not sound appealing was was super tasty. Lastly, a huge shout out to our server Samual that brought the fun to the table, gave great and honest recommendations, and was very very attentive. He clearly knew the menu. Eato was adorable! It was bigger than I expected. We came here for restaurant week which is always a great deal. Things I would have again: Chopped salad Chicken parm Things I can go without: Mushroom pizza Our waiter was great, very attentive and accommodating. We were a party of 12 and he still gave us all separate checks which we appreciated. I really enjoyed the chicken parm. The noodles came with a cream sauce rather than a red and it was a nice change. The mushroom pizza was good, don't get me wrong but I've had better in the area. That is the only reason why I would get something different next time. I usually enjoy a lot of places but I thought the experience at EaTo was extremely overrated. The food wasn't horrible, more like 3.5 star food. The pizza sauce was too sweet but that could just be a personal preference of mine. The real problem was the service was very detracting, as a waiter myself if a waitress/waiter is busy I find that to be reasonable. But not greeting a table for ten minutes while relatively not busy, and then not running a card for 15 minutes when it is out on the table is just kinda weird? I don't know maybe I have had too specific of training but it just was the strangest of vibes. Also a lot of marketing type questions at the start and end of the meal that confused me when I had a bad experience but the waitress wouldn't stop watching me answer the questions so there is no world in which I'm not tipping 20% and lying on the questions. The dining room felt like a big hallway, and the food just didn't make up for how weird so many decisions were during the meal, not a comforting vibe this type of food should have, off putting. read more

I love their space, it gives chic and cozy in one place! I also like that they have a private dining space, and wine shop inside. The service is impeccable! I've been here twice and both times it was amazing!! The staff are always super friendly, the food and cocktails consistently delicious and served hot and quick, there's always usually seating, and they always accommodate small children. The only problem we ever have coming here is finding parking, otherwise we would be here far too often HIGHLY RECOMMEND- I've never had a bad experience here. read more

I've wanted to eat here for a while now! I'd heard really good reviews and was excited going in. The atmosphere was so cute and fun. It had a market vibe, but also a high end bar and feel. We started off with drinks - I got a spicy margarita which was very meh. I'm a spicy margarita fanatic, it's always my go to drink, but this one wasn't it for me. It tasted as though it was a pre mix, and not a good one at that. My boyfriend got a drink he liked, so there were redeeming qualities about the bar, but I wouldn't suggest the spicy margarita. We got mussels as an app, and they were great! They had a spicy red brother and the meat was quality. We then got the chopped salad and the taleggio and honey pizza. Y'all... amazing. Loved the salad! A classic Italian chopped salad with lots of large chops or cheese, meat, and other bites. The pizza was out of that world good. We decided to get it due to it being highlighted on the menu - and it did not disappoint. Cooked perfectly, seasoned to perfection, every single bite was amazing. Could not give this pizza a higher praise! We ended the night with a slice a cheese cake. Nothing super special, but it was a great was to end a lovely meal. I've been drawn in a couple of times by the smell after a workout in a gym nearby. They have a really cute patio to sit on and the interior is also fun as well. I've gotten to try a few of their items during the two times I have gone. Olives Al Forno Bolognese Cheddar Cheese puffs Cheese Gremolata Pizza Cannoli Everything so far has tasted great, and even though they were relatively busy for a Wednesday the service was also great! The olives were delicious and a large portion so I have a great snack for the next few days. The Bolognese is a classic, well executed bolognese. But the highlight of the meal was the Cheese Gremolata Pizza l. It is hard to be shocked by a cheese pizza, but this pizza was extremely flavorful, especially for a cheese pizza. The crust was light and fluffy as well. I Can't wait to heat up my leftover slice's tomorrow! Lastly, for dessert I got the cannoli, and one of my favorite desserts I have had recently. They weren't very heavy, like a lot of deserts offered at most restaurants, just a nice sweet treat. They were crunchy on the outside with light and fluffy cream. I ate one of the three before I could even get a picture. It is a good thing they only give you 3, as I could've easily had 10-12 of them. Micah and I are getting close to finding Italian food in the Twin Cities that reminds us of home (South Philadelphia). This particular evening, we tried Eato after an event close by. My olive oil martini was delicious! We loved the whipped ricotta, even though the first round of focaccia wasn't super fluffy. The edges were a little hard. The second round of focaccia to help us finish the ricotta was perfect. Micah loved his bolognese. I got the chicken parm which was tasty just a tad over cooked but not awful. Service is fantastic - all the servers here are so friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive (their matching pink aprons give me life). I've tried a plethora of their pizzas, pasta, calamari, gelato, drinks, and more. I always get the Grand Spritz (pictured) and it's definitely the most gorgeous drink on the menu. I've also had the old fashioned and it was good - I just learned the hard way I'm not an old fashioned gal! My friends swear by the Prosecco on tap. They also have a to-go section at the front with frozen/pre-prepared foods, home goods, and pantry items (pasta, jams, honey, etc.). I have always wanted to go to EaTo, and I finally had a chance to go last Monday. Before we sat down for the meal, we did a tour of the spot. EaTo features a dining room, a private dining area, a market place that sells local and authentic goods, and a bottle shop where they do wine tastings and pairings for your meals.To start we ordered an Italian white wine and a lemon EaTo homemade soda. We ordered the calamari for an app, and Caprese and a Panzanella salad to start. For our main entrées, we ordered a Margherita and a mushroom and Alfredo flatbread pizza, and the lobster spaghetti and the vodka penne. I also ordered a grande spritz, it was so delicious. We came here at an off time (2:30pm) which was perfect to grab a table and some food. The focaccia was well worth it with a great salt balance. I got the pesto with shrimp. The shrimp was cooked to perfection - succulent and a slight grilled taste. The pesto was a little on the nutter side and more oily that I would like. I think pesto should be more creamy. Good portioning and came out hot not luke warm which is a plus for me. The vodka penne has a bit of a spicy bite to it but also delicious. Cheese cake was decadent and rich. Make sure you are sharing with someone on this one! I would definitely come back to try something else on the dinner menu! Oh and excellent service! I've made chicken parm. Well. I've never made chicken parm like this! It was served with bucatini (aka hallow spaghetti), and the sauce in the bottom of the dish was some kind of garlic butter cream sauce. The chicken Parmesan was rested on top of the bucatini then covered with marinara and mozzarella cheese. All of the flavors melded so well together. I didn't have a reservation and they were so kind to find a table for me and they seated me in a quiet closed off area that was perfect for me and my 1 yr old. That day there happened to be a buy out and the place was extremely packed. I was so appreciative that they thought of the noise factor for my 1 yr old. It just so happened to be restaurant week and they had a different menu. I took advantage of the different menu and ordered the spinach dip, (which was beyond amazing) and ordered a pizza and a tiramisu dessert!! Everything was so delicious, I ended up coming back a few days later for lunch with my husband!! He also enjoyed the dip and he ordered a chicken sandwich!!
