Eato is a very cute restaurant, with colorful food-themed decor greeting you when you enter the restaurant. I went to eato during lunchtime on a Thursday. It wasn't very busy. Service was very friendly! There were several vegetarian options and gluten-free options. They label their menu clearly! We ordered mocktails (blood orange fizz and citrus spritz). They were both refreshing with the fruity flavor coming through. The nonalcoholic rosé flavor was also noticeable in the citrus spritz! The penne alla vodka was good and I would get it again! It was fairly creamy and cheesy with a very very slight kick (my preference is for spicier, so I added some red pepper flakes). I ordered it with burrata, and you can't really go wrong with burrata, but I've had creamier ones! The margherita pizza was very sauce heavy, which was different than what we imagined. We would've liked to see more mozzarella. It wasn't bad but it was probably wouldn't get it again! Overall, I would come back for the ambiance and pasta!

Eato was the perfect stop after spending the morning at the local farmers market! My friends and I grabbed a table on their adorable patio and had such a great overall experience. Even sitting outside, the service was attentive and welcoming. I was craving something light, healthy, and refreshing, and ended up ordering the Beet Steak salad -- it was SO good and honestly the highlight of my experience! The inside of the restaurant is just as cute and stylish as the patio, with a warm atmosphere that makes you want to stay awhile. Since Eato is especially known for their Italian dishes, I'm already looking forward to coming back to try more from the menu!

Second time here and service was very good- did not tell us that a large group had a tip so a few people double tipped. But service was good, food was good. Wish they had a mushroom pasta.

Absolutely delicious food, great service, and comfortable/casual atmosphere that is just the right amount of elegant so that you feel like you're having a nice dinner out, but not at all out of place. (Maybe that's a me thing-- but you know what I mean?) We weren't celebrating anything special but wanted a nice dinner date out, and this place checked all the boxes. The menu has options for everyone: pizza or pasta lovers, meat or vegetarian, etc. We got a few shareable apps to split (fried Brie and the spinach bacon dip), a bottle of wine, and each own entree (penne alla vodka with chicken for me). Really good sized portions and so we ended up taking some home! Perfect leftovers.

We stopped by EaTo in Minneapolis while waiting for a rush passport nearby, hoping to grab a quick bite and pass the time. When we arrived around 2 p.m.The restaurant was very quiet, with only a couple of other diners. We were seated right away by the hostess, which was appreciated. Our server, Jessie, greeted us promptly and was attentive throughout our visit. After a quick look at the menu, we chose the lunch special.A chicken pesto sandwich on focaccia with a side of wild rice soup. Overall, the food was just okay. The sandwich didn't quite come together for me.The tomato jam didn't pair well with the pesto and chicken. The wild rice soup was also unexpected, as it had a tomato base rather than the creamier style I'm used to. Portions, especially for the sandwich, felt a bit small. That said, Jessie provided great service and he recommended coming back to try the vodka pasta with chicken. Thanks to the friendly and attentive service, we're open to giving EaTo another try in the future.

eatO delivers everything you want from a great Italian restaurant. The pasta is perfectly cooked al dente, the sauces are rich and flavorful without being heavy, and the pizza has that ideal balance of crispy crust and melty cheese. Every dish tastes fresh, authentic, and thoughtfully prepared. Beyond the food, the atmosphere is warm and inviting--perfect for a relaxed dinner or a night out with friends. If you're craving quality Italian food that feels both comforting and elevated, eatOn absolutely delivers.

EaTo is a classic Italian restaurant, it has an eclectic vibe that is casual but dim lighting so also more elevated than a chain. Service was great, everyone is nice. The important part though, the food, love it. The vodka pasta has a little kick but not too crazy, I wish it was a bit creamier but overall great. The grilled chicken is grilled with rosemary which adds a great touch. The chicken parm was very good, a white sauce on the noodles and red sauce with the chicken. We get takeout from here frequently but eating here the food was obviously much better but even takeout it is still delicious!

EaTo you was just ok. It's a great location, but the inside has a great vibe and the bar windows open up to the patio. Great during warm months. Service was fine, nothing spectacular and the food was just ok. The BBQ pizza which is a specialty on the menu, lacked flavor, although the chicken was nice and moist. The bolognese was also just ok, fairly spicy which is noted on the menu but it blocked the flavors. EaTo is fine but wouldn't run back.

Manicotti in vodka sauce with meatballs

I had the manicotti which was probably the best I've had in a long time, if not ever. The vodka sauce was a bit runnier than I would normally expect, but ended up being fantastic. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the ricotta filling was delicious. The meatballs were good, but I wouldn't say amazing. For $22 though, I would have thought they would have included some sort of bread -- nope. Just a dish of manicotti in vodka sauce, that's it. A bit of a disappointment there. Initially, the service was very good. I was seated right away and water was brought out quickly. The server (young, thin guy with a mustache) came to my table straight away to take my drink order, and was back in a couple of minutes with that. My food was also brought out quickly. After that, my server only checked on me once, maybe 15 minutes in. He must have walked by at least a dozen times in a half hour, but never stopped at my table except the one time. Also, they automatically add a 3% surcharge for credit card payments, which they note on the menu. That should just be the part of the cost of doing business, but whatever. At least they didn't sneak it in like some restaurants do. All things considered, this experience would be somewhere between a 3.5 to 4 stars. I would go back.

It been a long day conference and I saw this out the window on my drive to getting a massage. So I figured I'd stop in afterwards as I was craving some Italian food and they had pappardelle on the menu. It was semi-busy but a got seated right way. Service was great. fast and friendly. I was a bit ravished so i ordered an appetizer as well at my main course. I option for the arancini and for the main course pappardelle with bolognese. The arancini came with marinara sauce and it was not overly fried and the rice and cheese was a lovely ratio, sometime the aracini can be either to ricy or too cheeses and heavily breaded, The bolognese came out nice and hot and a good amount that I took leftovers home. I also treated myself to glass of red wine and a grapefruit san pelligrino. The alcohol needed to go on a separate tab as company was paying for the dinner, but the server had no issues. She was excellent. Nice little spot and must try if you find yourself hankering for italian food in Minnesota.

EaTo was our first meal after arriving in town & we chose it based on other reviews. The decorations/vibe is cute and comfortable. The staff were friendly and relaxed. We tried the cheese pizza puffs, the featured pizza and Muffaletta sandwich. All were out quickly, hot and tasty.

    Chicken Wild Rice Soup
    Tammie W.

We swung by for lunch on a beautiful and unseasonably warm October afternoon after spending a few hours at the Mill Museum. I ordered a cup of the chicken wild rice soup which was good and tomato forward which through me off at first. The pieces of shredded chicken, vegetables, and rice were lovely. I paired it with a side of the pasta salad that fell flat for me. The pasta was overcooked, lacked salt, and was quite dry. The vegetables tried to play a part but wound up a soggy mess. Our server was super friendly, the interior was spacious, and I loved the mustard yellow chairs inside. They were very comfortable and helped us relax and take our time with lunch.

    Jeremy S.

I've eaten at Eato many times and their happy hour continues to be a great place for some pre-dinner. This time around I had the dry rub wings for round one, they had some slight heat, which could use a bit more. Round two was the sausage pizza, most excellent! For the cocktail I had the Eato Old Fashioned, not sure what's going on, but it used to be better. Either way, great service, very attentive to my needs.

It's a humble-looking spot inside, but it doesn't lack in its food. Most is a self-service situation where you're choosing your table to sit at, grabbing your own water, and bussing your own table if you have the time. Casual spot with some interesting pizza. Boludo seems to be Argentinian-owned and family-run. I ordered the Porteño and asked for extra parmesan because of an Instagram reel I've seen with parmesan covering the crust. Due to a small misunderstanding, they ended up giving me something even better.... A fully parmesan-covered pizza. It was probably the best thing I've eaten that entire trip. Truly a great blend of salt, acid, fat, and heat. The second day I tried the Campo and tried to ask for the same cheese covering but ended up with the style I saw in the reel with the crust covered in cheese. It was still good, but not as good as my first order. They have a pretty solid Caesar salad as well! I would genuinely fly back to try this place again.

I've been here a ton of times but always for take out. The restaurant is self service meaning you sit yourself and get your own water. It was really busy when we went but food came out in about 20 minutes for how packed the restaurant was. The empanadas are a must. I've tried most of them but the carne is my favorite. And the chimichurri is so good with a nice vinegar kick with fresh herbs The Campo pizza comes with chorizo, mushrooms, onions and mozzarella. The best part is the parmesan cheese they put on the crust. I would like the amount of cheese on the crust they show in pictures match what you get in person. Our pizza was really heavy on the mozz and not enough balance of the other ingredients. Also got the flan which has candied pecans and dolce de leche on top and the custard below. It tastes the best when you have a bite of everything but the jar they put it in makes it difficult. If you like flan it's a good dessert to try.

He slowly walked towards the entrance of the hotel holding my pizza while on his phone laughing. I'm pretty sure he was on Instagram. We started with the app bread, which was super good and a great way to kick off the meal. I decided to order two pizzas and split both in half, which let me try four different varieties. It was definitely the right move. The bacon and golden pineapple pizza was one of my favorites. It was refreshing, had a nice little kick, and further confirmed that pineapple absolutely belongs on pizza. The lemon ricotta with goat cheese was also tasty, but the cheese was so rich that it started to dry out my mouth after a couple of slices. The meatball and ricotta pizza was a classic done really well. The meatballs were especially flavorful and clearly high quality. My favorite of the four was the hot salami and chili pepper pizza. It was absolutely divine with just enough heat, and the salami was perfectly crisped. The only downside to the pizzas was the crust. It was very thin, which made it difficult to hold all the toppings without them sliding off. There also was not much sauce, which made some bites feel a little dry. Overall, Black Sheep delivers creative and delicious pizzas in a fun atmosphere with fast, friendly service. Despite a few issues with the breading of the pizzas, I would definitely come back to try even more of the menu.

When my friend and I walked in, we came into a fairly spacious dimly lit space with loads of people inside. We were immediately informed that there would be over 1.5hr wait for a walk-in table. We were given the option to wait for bar seating as it would probably be quicker - and surely, it was. We did have to wait quite a bit, but it was a tolerable amount of time and definitely less than what it would have taken for an actual table. My friend and I decided to share 2 pizza pies as we wanted to get a taste of two different flavors, so we eventually settled on Korean BBQ & Perfect Pickle Pie. KOREAN BBQ As it was created by a Korean chef, it definitely had true authentic Korean flavors. As a Korean myself, I was very familiar with this soy vinaigrette and have tried this on many salad before - so, it was hitting home for me. Also, you can't go wrong with the bulgogi/beef short ribs known to all those who had Korean BBQ before. The combination of the sauces that they use for this pizza is definitely very rich, full of umami. I personally enjoyed it. PERFECT PICKLE PIE This pie was a totally different flavor to the Korean BBQ. It's less rich and maybe can be overpowered or considered more bland compared to other pizza flavors. But when tried together with the BBQ, it balances out the richness of the BBQ with the more subtle/less umami flavors. This pie gives more of a tangy/sour taste that pickles provide and more of a crunch due to the chips that are added on top. The dill is present, but not overpowering. It's a nice low-key kind of taste that people who like pickles will enjoy. Overall, the flavors were very rich in every pizza pie that we had that our mouths were bursting with flavor. It was definitely the most unique pizza toppings that I've had and can see why it's so highly regarded. I can tell that they really are meticulous with their every process and that their pizza guy by the wood fire oven is expertise in what he does. My friend and I walked out quite satisfied and I was honestly more full than I expected.
