Food was really good. I would go back for the food. However, the service was bad. Lady at the register was very condescending. I felt like she was talking to me like I was a stupid and not worth her time. We walked in for a take out order, it was not a busy time it was not even 5 pm. She pushed my receipt towards me and walked off. Didn't thank us or even give us a copy of our receipt. She did not tell us were to wait so we just took a seat in the restaurant. Another lady did come by and ask us if we had been helped, she seemed nice, so maybe the bases for my negative review is not a true representation of this restaurant. It is a shame though that the poor service is what we will remember most. read more

Our order came out fast and everything was accurate. No complaints at all. EVERYTHING IS GREAT. Let's start with desserts. The baking queen herself is in the back. The Banana Chocolate Swirl cake - SLAMMIN, the Key lime cake- 2 DIE 4 (& I don't even like key lime), the mango pie - omg literally no words, the Cheesecake - so yummy so creamy . Now onto the food... my belly is so happy right now, I'm struggling to write this review but let's keep moving. We got lemon pepper/buffalo chicken bites as an appetizer and they were perfect. I popped one in my mouth and knew I chose the right place to eat. Every food item on the menu looks great, it was so hard to decide but I decided on the chicken philly and it was so good (try it with the jerk sauce!!), like the quality of everything was perfect, down to the mayo. My sister got the Reggae Blue burger and I didn't hear her make a peep the whole meal, that's how you know food is good when the whole table is quiet. I know this Is probably the longest, most dramatic review you've ever read but I'm only dramatic when it comes to good things so there you have it if you're not already in the parking lot then idk what you doing. Wow what a find! This sweet little cafe on the corner is serving some delicious food! Everyone in our party had burgers and all were cooked perfectly- so juicy and the toppings were all great!! The lemonade is homemade and so refreshing. We tried milkshakes and strawberry cake too - all were great!! Our server was so nice and helpful. A real foodie gem in Pine Mountain. Famous for their shrimp and grits- it is a must try on your first visit. This restaurant also serves some of the best curry! A great menu and that I am slowly working my way through ....Fish and grits, plantains, cabbage, salads....so far, everything I have ordered has been amazingly delicious and well-done. Food is cooked to order and if they are busy, you will have to wait. Be patient, enjoy the small town around you and wait for some delicious food to arrive. The staff here was so friendly! We came in with a party of 4 adults & 4 kids on a Sunday afternoon. The quickly accommodated our group. Our food was out really quickly and everything was correct. Most everyone ordered a burger. The burgers were juicy. We ordered two cheese burgers, and two jerk burgers. The kids had sliders and one person ordered the roasted chicken with rice and cabbage. Everyone loved their food. The fire fries were also tasty. If we come through this area again we would stop and eat here again! read more

While it is not a large establishment and the decor is simple, the atmosphere is very welcoming and the workers are very attentive and friendly. We stopped in for a quick bite during the town festival. They had a busy carry out service going which left there few tables open for eating in. Their menu was diverse enough to make deciding challenging as many dishes were unique and tempting. Definitely want to come back to try some of the more adventurous offerings. My husband ordered his usual burger and I enjoyed a delicious philly cheesesteak. The burger was good sized, tasty and juicy according to him. The fries were cut large and lightly salted, crisp and hot. I chose the corn hush puppies as my included side. There were 4 and they could have been cooked a bit longer as several were somewhat doughy on the inside. The cheesesteak had a good amount of meat and cooked onions and peppers. The bread was ok but I am not a big bread person would rather have a crusty baguette so I left most of the bread on the plate. Overall, we enjoyed the lunch & our drinks were allowed to get less than half full. Definitely worth another trip. read more

We are often in Pine Mountain and just found our new favorite place. If you go in summer there is a blooming tree that Amanda says partially blocks the front. Don't miss it. I'm a country girl who loves her catfish! They fry it just the way I like it! My good friend got the shrimp and grits and hubby ordered the Green Giant Burger. The shrimp and grits are a HUGE portion and the flavors are perfect! Easily a two person entree. I'm too much of a wuss to try the Green Giant burger but hubby enjoyed it. For appetizers we had Lava Fries and Chicken Bites (tossed in a sauce I can't remember). Both delicious and served hot and fresh. The food here is devine!!! My 4 stars are because of the service and time it takes to get your food. The wait time was ridiculous both visits. It took a waitress about 30 minutes to take our drink order and another 20 minutes to serve us WATER! The only reason I stayed was because the food is so good!! Haha Oh!! The front seating area of the restaurant is pretty intimate so I advise against a stroller. read more

This is by far our favorite eats in Pine Mountain. Open during Covid with 50% capacity, you won't be disappointed. We've had the Big Boy burger, it stuffed the teenage boy! Lol The salads are huge with fresh ingredients every time, both the blackened salmon & Cajun shrimp are winners!! You will be full before leaving, but do not pass on taking home some cake. My family and I were visiting Pine Mt and stumbled on this place! It was great! We had a 2,3 and 9 year old. They have a back deck that we as perfect for them to run around. We had the humus and pita chips and we told them they should sell this stuff . I'm not a big humus fan but loved their version. We also ordered onion rings and the sauce served with the onions was great! I had the fried grouper breaded perfectly and elected to have the cabbage, very good just enough spice. My husband stuck with the hamburger and again very pleased! Can't wait to go back and actually order specialities : shrimp and grits. UPDATE!! Had a friend who was celebrating a birthday, decided to take her here the very next day after our first visit. Had the curry chicken this time. Was wonderful and a huge portion! My wife and our friend tried the salmon. It was outstanding. Glazed with their calypso sauce, it looked as good as it tasted. Don't usually visit the same place two days in a row but this was a great idea. Really looking froward to some of the lunch specials they have including the collards and mac & cheese! Have seen this place several times passing through and not stopped.....what a mistake. The food here is awesome. Had conch fritters for an appetizer and they were fresh, hot, and delicious. The dipping sauce is killer! I had a burgers that was loaded with ingredients....and grilled pineapple! Could only eat half but it was great! Wife had the grouper plate and was really happy with that choice. Three fillets with it and a delightful coleslaw with a Caribbean twist....a hint of pineapple in it, we will definitely be back. Our server was great and made some suggestions for us to try. We even had some home made Key Lime pie that was wonderful. Hope this place is as good on our next visit, which will be soon. they do have lunch specials also but we were there for dinner.
