This was a cute little place to grab lunch! The only negative to me really was the pricing. I got a turkey club and it was almost $6 just for the sandwich. It didn't even come with chips! I just ate my toddler's salad so I had a full meal. All in all, it's a neat little island atmosphere with plantains on the menu, which was really cool. read more

My family stopped in for lunch while visiting Pine Mountain. Their menu is amazing and it was difficult deciding with so many delicious sounding and unique options. We started with empanadas (Amazing!), and then I ordered a chicken Philly with onion rings, my wife got fish and grits, and my daughter got a burger and onion rings. My family and I stopped by this lovely restaurant during our vacay... and let me tell you.. we were NOT disappointed! The atmosphere was nice and quaint. The staff and servers were so helpful from explaining and suggesting menu items. We had the jerk chicken, Mac&Cheese, cabbage, fish & grits, and my daughter had wings. The food was wonderful but the service was not very good. We were a large party of 15 and took the entire restaurant, we had made reservations in advance. We were there when they opened. Some in our party ordered sweet tea and it was not very good. When that was mentioned the waitress replaced it with another glass for one person and it was better. When another in our party asked for replacement sweet tea she said no it was from the same batch as the good tea and it was just a mental thing and wouldn't replace it. When she took orders from our teens and children she was short and rude to them about their orders and drinks. She was not attentive and standoffish the whole time. The food all came out correctly and was delicious. When we left the same waitress came to our car and said that the tip was not enough that she had made a mistake and forgot to add in automatic gratuity to the bill. She wanted $4 more. Never have we had a server track us down and ask for more tip! Even though the food was flavorful (not the sweet tea) we will not go back because of the service. read more

We ate at this little cafe in Pine Mountain last night and were pleasantly surprised! My wife and I are onion ring connoisseurs and Eatz did not disappoint. They served us hand-breaded onion rings that were some of the lightest, most flavorful we've had. The dipping sauce was also delicious with a hint of horseradish. For my main course, I ordered the Caribbean curried tofu special and it was delicious! It was just the right amount of spice so you could finish the meal without getting too overheated. My wife had the fried catfish with hushpuppies and both were also delicious! The catfish was crunchy on the outside and sweet and flaky on the inside. The hushpuppies were also light, airy and sweet. The food was great, the service was friendly. They were nice enough to let us sample the calypso wing sauce before we got it. The lemon pepper wings we purchased were a good size and well seasoned. My husband and I both both burgers and they were delicious and we'll sized. It was about $6 for a burger but you have to pay an extra $2 for a side of fries. The drink prices are insane! They don't have fountain drinks and the canned drinks are $2.75-3.50! I took a star off because of the dessert. The cakes seem to be homemade and aren't pre-sliced in the fridge. We asked if we would get a big slice of cake for the $3.75 they charge and she nodded. She went in the back and sliced the cake AFTER we already paid for it using my debit card. She came back with a tiny slice of cake.. it was so thin I had to take a picture of it. It was worth $1 tops. They price gouge on their drinks and dessert. I'd recommend you purchase those elsewhere. read more

My son and I ate here for lunch today. We were in town for a wedding and since we are not familiar with the area, we looked on yelp for some suggestions. This was a great choice. The food is excellent! I can't say enough! One of the best cheeseburgers I've had in a long time. Our server Amanda took excellent care of us. she even helped make accommodations for my little guy who's in a wheelchair. If there was a sixth star available these guys would get it. My husband and I had lunch there. It was a wait for someone to come and give us 2 menus. We sat outside because it was a nice day. We ordered their lunch specials and it wasn't what we thought. It took about half an hour to get our lunch. Their French fries were way to salty for me to eat. Told the server and nothing was done. Not sure if we will be back. read more
