I got the thiccflurry create my own. I did chocolate/vanilla mix as my base. I added chocolate chips and chick o stick as my mix in. Delicious!! I was in heaven and really hit the spot overall. I am dairy and gluten free so plenty of options for me. Street parking is available and for a Sunday afternoon in September I had no issues.

    Paletas! (Some are seasonal!)

Good grief everything here is delicious and so balanced. The paletas are insane, and made with fresh ingredients. I'm hooked on their house made soft serve with the chocolate shell.

I like Ice Queen. They make handcrafted vegan paletas. They started from a literal hand-pushed cart and have grown to a brick and mortar. The storefront is on SE 11th; you can find neighborhood free street parking. It's a small shop with just a couple tables to sit at. Their paleta flavors are quite unique, from mangonada to oatchata, strawberry to chocolate, jamaica to piña colada, coconut to coffee, to seasonal flavors. Theyre $4.50 for one and 12 for $45. It's kinda hard to say whether that's pricey or not, but I feel like it's cheaper and smaller than a regular ice cream so you can get a couple flavors. They also have milkshakes, frozen bananas, other drinks, what they call "Thiccflurries," and some grab-and-go items like candy/stickers.

Surprisingly delicious plant-based treats--this place nails it! Everything here is plant-based, but you honestly wouldn't know it. I ordered the oatchata paleta with a half chocolate dip, and it was so good--creamy, flavorful, and totally satisfying. You'd never guess it wasn't traditional horchata. The paletas are reasonably priced at around $4-$5, and the chocolate dip was just $1 extra for a half. The decor is quirky in the best way--creative, fun, and full of personality. It adds to the charm and makes the space feel welcoming. There isn't a ton of seating inside, just a couple of small tables, but most people seem to grab their treats to go. There are also benches right outside the exit if you want to hang out for a bit. Just a heads-up: parking is street-only. They also offer soft serve, which I didn't try this time--but it's definitely on my list for next visit. The staff were super friendly and happy to answer our questions, which made the experience even better. I'll absolutely be coming back to try more flavors. If you're curious about plant-based desserts, this spot will surprise you--in the best way. Well done!

5 stars are well deserved! Here's why... + 1 star for being 100% vegan and saving animals lives + 1 star for having a wide selection of flavors and toppings + 1 star for super friendly staff + 1 star for letting me use the gender neutral bathroom even though it's not for customers + 1 star for having indoor or outdoor seating This place is SO CUTE inside. There are cloud shaped tables and decor with a pastel vibe. I felt right at home. I got a caramel coffee bar and my partner got the mangolada. Both were delicious, and had the perfect consistency. Street parking was easy to find. No complaints.

the interior of this shop is so cool ! i loved the art on the walls. we got two thiccflurries; one with chocolate soft serve and one vanilla and we chose our own toppings. i definitely want to go back to try the paletas !

    Chai Pear Paleta with Mázapan

This was a very interesting experience. I haven't been to a strictly vegan ice cream or Paleta shop(for that matter)ever. So I was very curious to try what I saw. I had the Chai PNW Pear with peanut Mázapan as a topping. At first when I tasted the Paleta i had thought it was a bit too sweet and that the chai flavor overwhelmed the pear, but once I got further in and made sure to get bites with the peanut it ready was tasty. The shop is cute and a bit small but really highlights the products. I enjoyed the Paleta, my only thought is that the consistency was *quite* icy and I do prefer a bit more of a smooth consistency. Still very much worth trying

I never thought I'd have to write something like this, but there was a literal metal part from their machine in my ice cream. Completely unacceptable. Not only is that a choking hazard, it's incredibly dangerous and shows a serious lack of quality control!!!! I get that mistakes happen, but this isn't just a hair or a bad flavor--it's a potential health and safety issue!!!!

    Lime and jamaica mango paletas

Great spot for sweet treats. I've tried the lime and jamaica mango flavors of paletas, and while the lime was refreshing, the jamaica mango was fantastic. I would get that one again, along with some of the others that I didn't get to try last time. They also have soft serve, and we tried one of their Thiccflurries, which was fine, but the paletas are the stars here for me.

Stopped by this appealing shop after dinner during PDX trip. Can't say I've tried vegan ice cream bars before, but my Oatchata bar was enjoyable (I am a sucker for horchata). Not as creamy rich as with dairy, but after all the eating done during the trip, it's good to take it easy on the extra fats. Kid was looking for his usual cookies n cream version, but they had run out, which made him sad and pout, lol. Lady offered to add the cookies topping for him to any bar he chose, what quick thinking and great service! While vegan ice cream can't be as good as the paletas with dairy, this seems like a great treat for those who prefer vegan. I'm guessing the non-dairy would have it's advantage on being more refreshing on a hot day, especially in the fruit flavors.

Yummy! While going to get a popsicle in the middle of fall may be weird to some, it hit the spot for me. I got the sour green apple popsicle with coconut caramel, and it hit the spot. The staff was very polite and friendly. The shop is a bit small, bit there is seating inside and out or you can get walk around the area. There is a park not too far away you can always go to. I will say this is one of those areas where parking is a bit of a chore but not super hard.

    Rolo and S'mores thiccflurries!

If I was a billionaire, I'd invest in this shop to open a second location by me in Maine. Small batch and homemade, these ice creams are luscious and delicious. They are not sickly sweet, and they don't need to be. They really let the flavors shine on their own. The thai iced tea is my favorite flavor, though the fresh banana is up there too. This trip already I have visited once IRL and later I ordered a shake from them for delivery to my hotel, which was great! No drop in quality there and they drew a cute little note. The service has always been amazing throughout the years. Got to meet THE Miss Oz herself one visit too! Scoops or in shake form, it's a must visit when we find ourselves back in PDX!

The vibe appears to be one of modern appearances, with old-school "ice cream parlor" ambiance (50s and 60s music is what is played, and I appreciate this). Variety of flavors is wide, and there are fresh cookies available. Prices are on the high side (location, though), the interior is very clean, and staff is very friendly and helpful. The cookies were disappointing, but not bad. Ice cream was on the better side of average, but is nothing groundbreaking. I definitely recommend stopping in for a fun experience if you're in the neighborhood.

Ok.... disappointments in order of appearance with the disclosure, up front that we were visiting them in their last 30 minutes open.... having no intention whatsoever to eat our treats there but also figuring we'd have time to try stuff, get stuff and be ok. First disappointment - we both really were looking forward to trying, and assuming we would be eating the flavor they've been promoting - peanut butter butterscotch. Sounds so good right? Well we wouldn't know, because both the gals behind the counter almost mocked us for even thinking that they would have it available. It was a weird flex... truly they didn't even have a marker for it or language saying they were out of it - they just said it was not available in a weird way. I asked permission to try a few flavors... and gal number 1 give me an enthusiastic yes , which I appreciated. I'm sorry but I always want to try so many things, realizing that with each try, most flavors are too much - or would be too much if I got an order of it. I try to only taste 2-3 but almost always end up ordering the one I don't try which is vanilla (yep, that is how I roll). I tried the boysenberry which was incredible but, too much. I then tried the mint chocolate and confirmed I still don't like theirs (I had forgot it very punchy mint, more like mouthwash than fro yo) but I always try it because I keep hoping they will change the recipe. Soooo... gal 1 went away leaving gal 2. It genuinely felt like we just got handed to the bouncer... I honestly felt afraid to try anything else because she immediately was very aggressive... like "What else" isn't a question but an order to GTFO. This intensified as my friend had questions because she's vegan, so making sure things are vegan and she was curious about getting a shake - more going for a blizzard situation. Gal 2 started lecturing her about flavors saying she was interested in too many (because M&Ms & vegan butterfingers apparently ate a ridiculous ask?). She was also saying it would be chunky - isn't that the point? My friend asked if she had had a shake there and was given a very stern NO. It was just a bit insane... like, I appreciate you are maybe wanting to close early but WOW. I said , I just want vanilla thank you... and I figured I would just order Oreos on top - again, simple. She then lectured me that they don't have that and was trying to add cookie dough... ummm... have you had an Oreo? That is a completely different flavor, texture and thing .... and no... I started asking if there was any fresh fruit or something and she seemed confused at the question... I walked almost to the register and saw marion berry compote. Yes, that's all please angry person... my friend took her time ordering while I practically ran out. I was just super uncomfortable. She had perfect eyebrows I really wanted to compliment her on but it has been a bit since I felt such strong GTFO vibes. I assume maybe she had a spicy customer before us earlier but eek. It's so true about every encounter. I'll definitely remember this one as being pretty unpleasant. My friend joked that gee, her shake was delicious even though it was apparently made with pure hate.
