This place offers New Zealand fruit ice cream which is ice cream blended with fresh fruit. It is operated as a food cart behind a restaurant, with plenty of parking in the small plaza. We got the double that allowed 2 flavors, so we got oatmeal brown sugar and marionberry flavors with raspberry drizzle on top. Total was $8.50 which is a decent price, including the $0.50 surcharge for the topping. I wouldn't recommend the raspberry drizzle as it was quite sweet but the ice cream was excellent. The server gave us good recommendations of the flavors as we wanted one non fruit flavor and one fruit flavor. The oatmeal brown sugar has nice texture from the oatmeal and pairs super well with the marionberry. Even the fruit ice cream has creamy notes from the milk in the ice cream!

Stopped in on a hot day to have a taste. As already mentioned this is a cart on the side of Tacovore by the parking lot so it had easy parking. There was a small group of middle school boys on a Friday afternoon super excited to to be making a stop here at the front of the line and a girl and her father behind them and then me. Soon a few others came after me. It was quite the Friday afternoon spot. There was only 1 girl working but everyone was patient, it's Portland, we don't mind waiting for good stuff. The lady working was friendly and pretty fast considering she was alone. I ordered a "regular" which is actually 2 scoops! (A mini appears to be one flavor:1 scoop) so I had the Orange Dream and Trailhead Espresso with a dark chocolate shell in a waffle cone which upped my $5 ice cream to $7 for 2 scoops, topping and a waffle cone. I just thought the chocolate shell sauce was a lil on the sparse side. My favorite was the Orange dream with the shell, but again, I wish it covered the scoop more. When I got to the espresso. It was also tasty and had what seemed like flecks of either coffee or chocolate in it. It was good but I was really diggin the Orange Dream. I did not try the soft serve with fruit because Nicos's across from my house does that and I wanted something different. But definitely a sweet spot in the neighborhood to get a lil frozen treat! It would be five stars if the chocolate shell sauce actually covered the ice cream.

This food truck has some very yummy ice cream. They have several different flavors. My experience has been with the dairy free soft serve mixed with berries. Super yum! Cones and cups. Fun toppings and sprinkles. Keep in mind, it's not always open and they do run out of things - - super bummer if you've walked all the way over, only to find out that they are out of dairy-free but no worries :) it happens.

Beaux Berry is a small ice cream cart now located off Fremont, right next to Tacovore. They offer unique flavors like churro, honeycomb, ginger molasses, oatmeal and brown sugar, pistachio, root beer float, and more. They have three vegan options. Alternatively, you can order real fruit ice cream which has been a big trend here in Portland lately. The ice cream was good. Good texture, flavors hit the right notes. Service was surprisingly slightly slow. I felt like prices were a little high for the size of the serving. The shared patio with Tacovore makes for a nice atmosphere to sit down and enjoy your ice cream. While I'm not sure it impressed me enough to make the drive here over other closer options, this is a great choice for dessert after dinner at Tacovore.

This was much needed on a 91 degree day, but honestly I'd crave this ice cream even on a rainy day! I got the fresh fruit ice cream which was strawberry! Think of the most amazing soft serve with real fruit. It was a vanilla base with real berries swirled in, I think the machine that was used was like a milkshake machine but the texture was so creamy and divine! Got a mini scoop for $3.75! What a deal. Service was quick and staff friendly.

The mixed berry real fruit ice cream was the perfect dessert! Sweet, tart, and berry-tastic! I ordered the mini because I was still full from dinner, and it was just the right size. Honestly, a little bigger than I anticipated and a good value! I also appreciated that they had contactless payment via Venmo.

Disclaimer: This review is totally subjective; Beaux Berry, as an experience, would be five stars. I'm giving Beaux Berry three stars, because it falls in the realm of "take it or leave it" for me. I love ice cream, and I love berries, so this seemed like a win/win. The concept is unique: Beaux Berry uses a vanilla ice cream base -- Tillamook for dairy; Coconut Bliss for non-dairy -- and runs it through a fancy machine with your choice of berry, producing a consistency between hard and soft serve. That's where the magic stops. I ordered a vegan cup of ice cream with strawberry & marionberry (regular size); berries of choice were a combination of marionberry and strawberry. It was tasty, but as expected, full of berry seeds. Total cost was $6, and I wish I had just gotten vanilla ice cream with berries on the side. It would have been less seed-y, less melty, and more interesting. The "mini" size is the size of a ping pong ball ($4); "regular" is the size of a tennis ball ($5), and non-dairy base costs extra. Otherwise, there's nothing new here. They do serve other flavors of dairy ice cream, and they have vegan ice cream sandwiches from Doe. I would recommend Beaux Berry for dessert if you're already dining next door; or, if you're a fan of berries or berry ice cream, and if you don't mind crunching on seeds.

    Enjoy the day

Tacovore does not offer dessert so what a great idea to lease parking lot space to this adorable cart. The menu is touch confusing at first as they offer "homemade" flavors and also Tillamook ice cream mixed with fresh fruit. The nice people encourage samples and I opted for the creamy and crunchy Churro at first bite. You also have your choice of a sauce topping at (I believe) no extra charge. The quick to harden dark chocolate shell was a great compliment. For desserts smaller is better for me and they satisfy this trend with a perfect sized cup for $2.50. Lots of creative flavors without the fight for parking and lines.

    Light and delicious! Definitely Recommend.

The best ice cream I've had yet. Not too sweet; not too milky! Not too fruity JUST RIGHT

This is a cute little ice cream cart! They have the best flavors that are rich in flavor. No BS on the flavors. You can get their homemade flavors blended with berries of your choice as well. They have cool machine that blends the berries with the ice cream and it comes out to be this cool texture. (Sorry I didn't get a pic of the cool swirl) I had the Churro and Vanilla today. I almost got some to take home it was so good! They have vegan options as well!

A cool ice cream cart that is located in the St John's area. The flavors here are pretty simple and also very tasty. I had a split scoop of cookies and sweet cream with churro saboroso. Both were very very good. The churro one was definitely a standout and makes you feel like you are actually eating one, just a cooler version. The service is pretty great and more props to the employee for being able to be the cart during the warm days.

I say this honestly... I believe this was the most delicious and decadent ice cream I've ever had! The flavors I chose were Marionberry and the Raw Honey Lavender. I all but licked the bowl when I was done. The serving of two flavors was $5 and I feel it was enough to satisfy and sample without being too much! It was well worth the visit. Next time I'm in Portland, I am definitely swinging by again to try more of their many flavors!

This is two (very small) scoops.

Waited nearly 30 mins on a 4-5 person line for ice cream. One person working there on a beautiful Saturday afternoon is just poor planning. Also, the one person taking orders was taking easily 5-7 minutes to prepare each order. My friend ordered, got served, and ate three tacos from next door in the time it took for me to get ice cream on a relatively short line. This is ice cream, not gourmet cooking! It should not take this long to make a couple of cones. Then when we finally did get out ice cream the flavor was average and the scoop size was ridiculously small. Disappointing on several fronts.

The marionberry was sweet, tart, and refreshing. The birthday cake had bits of yellow cake and confetti folded into the ice cream. The Belgian chocolate was deep and decadent. The bowl was filled to the top and our waffle cone was served to the side because the scoops would not have fit. My parents had the hibiscus coconut sorbet and chocolate sorbet. Both are dairy free. My parents were indifferent to both flavors. The hibiscus flavor was too strong whereas the coconut was too subtle. The chocolate sorbet has an intense cocoa flavor and they generally prefer a sweeter version.
