It's a new store with SO MUCH Japanese Kawaii stuff. Definitely come check it out, the prices are very reasonable for hard to find stuff all located at one location. I parked on the street, but there is parking behind the store. The store has multiple entrances but only one pay location. Today was a weird encounter, I check in my bag at the front and get a tag, but then after I start shopping a employee runs to me and says I have to check in my purse, I point to the Asian women around me that have purses and that my ID and cash and credit cards are in it and he told me I have to still, I ask him is it because I'm Mexican and he says he doesn't know that he just wants my purse, blatant racism! Saw this store being raved about on social media. It's pretty big, spacious, and offer a large variety of items. Tons of blind boxes, cosmetics, toys, plushies, kitchenware, etc. They have a gachapon/claw arcade area that looked impressive on IG, but it was very underwhelming in person. I was impressed by the amount and variety of blind boxes they offered - I picked up a couple of them for myself. I rated it 3 stars because as a SoCal native who lives close to many Japanese stores, this one overpriced their items, almost triple for some items you can find at Hmart or Tokyo Central. It almost felt like you could get away with purchasing most of the stuff online for cheaper. Worth coming here to see if you can find some items for a good deal, such as their clearance deals on select food (close to expiration/overtsock) and items, but be weary of the prices overall. read more

I've been to Japan 4 times in the last 9 months so of course I was very excited to see this place finally open. Pretty good selection, but some of the prices are absolutely insane. I get it, it costs a lot to ship these items over here, but Calbee cereal for almost $16?? That's just silly. The employees also seemed really annoyed and not very helpful. While I was standing in line I asked a girl if they had a few items and she looked at me like I was insane and said "no, why would we have that?" I explained that I saw them in Tokyo and thought there would be a chance they carried them. She said nothing else and simply walked away. Cool, thanks. read more

For cosmetics, Shibuyala or Takashimaya has a greater selection and better prices. The blind box choices were pretty disappointing, I've seen cuter ones at the stores inside Arcadia mall or even Miniso. Daiso has better household items. The only thing that caught my attention was the large selection of imported Japanese soft drinks. I just came back from Japan a few weeks ago and it's about 2.5x -3x the price here and has a very limited selection of items. A box of 5 Ichiran servings would cost $10 dollars at donki or any of those tax free stores in Japan. Here it's $10 for one bowl. Ramen section was non existent, no curry packets, no beer selection, no high ball selection, no chu hai selection. I know it's tough to import that stuff but the advertisements made it seem like they had it. I like the design of the store but feel like I got baited by ig to come here.
