A neat boutique Taiwanese shop with a lot of different snacks, frozen/cold products, and foods sourced from Taiwan. The store is a bit small but has a lot of variety. Prices are a bit higher than larger chain Asian supermarkets but you may not find the same Taiwanese products elsewhere. Very organized and clean and staff are very kind. Location is in a very busy plaza so parking can be difficult around peak hours.

Today was their grand opening with a lot of bogo items and wow there was a lot of people. They have a very large and diverse frozen food selection, sauces, foods, and snacks. It brings you back the motherland, Taiwan. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The prices are very good and the store was very clean. I really like the fact that they have a lot of pineapple cake selections, including Sunny Hills (they even had the apple cakes) and Chiate. I was surprised they even had 石二鍋12 hotpot sacha sauce and soup base. Highly recommend the store for anyone who's looking for Taiwanese foods.

Just went there and was so glad to bring home authentic, quality Taiwanese foods on lunar New Year's Day.

This place is mostly famous for their Turon. Just the right amount of crunch to sweetness ratio. I especially love that they have catering trays for everything you would want to bring to a filipino party. You can order their Turon in orders of 5 or more which gives you plenty of options if you want people to share. The pieces are pretty long so my tip would be to cut them in half to feed more mouths. Last time I went I got their lumpia and pancit bihon. My goodness!! Delicious and so fresh. The noodles I ate for days even after the party but everyone enjoyed it. I like the thin and thick noodles so happy they offered more than just the traditional pancit. Plenty of lumpia sauce was given and was thankful they hooked it up. The team at Chaaaste is phenomenal!! Honestly everyone is so friendly and kind. They always ask me about my day and curious where I'm going with all their delicious food. So family oriented and you could tell they put a lot of love into their food. I especially love seeing the Lola's and Aunties behind the counter at the register. So sweet! They have a small parking lot but I never had issues parking. There are always spots open. It's in a small plaza, but they offer everything you could need filipino. There's even a convenience store and some steam table staples available throughout the day. Their longanisa is fire and can't go wrong with anything they have hot and fresh. Truly a treat to get something from here so come for your parties, come for the snacks, or just come for ready to go food. They have it all!!

They have a small market section where you can grab snacks, sauces, and pantry items, and then a hot food area where they serve ready to eat dishes. I got some pancit, longganisa, and lechon. The pancit was solid, the longganisa was juicy and had that sweet flavor, and the lechon was really good. Moist with super crispy skin. Definitely get the sauce with it, it helps cut through the richness. Also grabbed a turon to finish and it was delicious. Left super full and ready to knock out after. Solid spot if you're in the area and craving Filipino food.

Makes sense!! I love the crepeish tortilla instead. It comes with of course choices of stir fry cabbage, etc. Gosh, total shenanigan food...like what I would have done on college with Chinese leftovers or something. Love that! - I've yet to try it but I intend to another time. It's fast food, not high quality but cheap and filling looking. We actually love Mexican burrito/taco shop, La Azteca, due to their fresh tortillas...reminds me of the crepe like tortilla used in Taiwanese breakfast crepe/egg dish? I wonder if this 99 Ranch's burrito is similar. Red Bean/or Creme Cakes $1.50 each cake, or $6 for 5 cakes. - The red bean/or creme cakes looked okay but due to nostalgia and the SO loving your stuff, we bought some to go. It looked bready with not enough crispy texture and not enough fillings. I don't know any other store that make these anymore except a shop in Little Tokyo LA....those are good. I don't know enough about this 99 ranch to judge among other ones. I only came in to grab some AFC organic firm tofu, Chinese root beer soda and looked for herbal items.

An outpost of a familiar brand. This location in Arcadia, hidden just off the main thoroughfare,…read moregives you what you'd expect from 99 Ranch, just in a bit smaller format as not as well maintained as other locations. This one does have a bakery along with a few small shops in the front, just past the checkout stands. The selection here is not quite as large as the typical 99 Ranch markets, though gives you enough of what you're looking for. Service is as expected, without being overly friendly or dismissive, as some Asian grocery markets can be. All in all, you should find what you need here and with plenty of food options in the surrounding plaza, it may be a one stop shop to get multiple tasks done at once in the area. Not my 1st choice for a 99, though if this is the closest one to you, it gets the job done.
