I had a great experience at EchoPark Centennial. I called on a Friday morning to make an appointment to look at a couple of cars I was interested in. I arrived at 6:30 PM and was greeted by Brett. He was polite, professional, thorough, and patient. There was no pressure at all -- Brett answered every question honestly and made sure I had the information I needed to make a decision. I walked out before 9:00 with keys in hand to my new BMW and have never been happier with a car purchase. I had a BMW-specific shop check it out a few weeks after I bought it (I wanted to find a good mechanic before I needed one) and they were very impressed with the car and the price I paid. I went there to purchase a 2015 BMW X1 for my daughter to replace her 2014 BMW X1 that our insurance company totaled due to the severe hail storms in the Denver metro area on June 19, 2018. Echo Park's replacement 2015 Beamer was priced very low compared to similar cars, especially given that it only had 10.5K miles on it. Checked the Carfax and it showed one owner, no accidents or repairs. Checked the tire depth and there was plenty of tread left. Inspected the outside of the car and it looked good and test drove it and it ran like a champ. The car's mats were missing and the carpets were filthy and there was this weird grimy film on the inside of the windows. The salesman said that they would wash the car and vacuum it, but that they would not detail the car for me, which I thought was totally lame. So missing mats, dirty carpet, and film on the insides of the windows aside, I was about to give them a cashier's check for a little over $23K (including taxes), but just before I forked it over, the salesman tells me that the car was hail damaged during the May 29, 2018 storm and then repaired! First time they told me this! Their Internet ad did not disclose the hail damage and neither did their phone follow up staff disclose this before I drove over 50 miles to the dealership. Worse still, they claimed that since they repaired it themselves and they are self-insured, they didn't feel obligated to report this to Carfax. When I complained to the dealership general manager (GM) about this obvious deception, he started giving me this big spiel about how Echo is just one company in a bigger corporation and that corporate HQ made the decision to not disclose the hail damage on Echo's Internet web site, not Echo. I told him that I thought Echo's parent company was very unethical for making this decision. In addition, I asked him to show me the paperwork for the shop that repaired the hail damage and at first he agreed to this. However, a few minutes later he declined and told me that they spent an average of about $547 per car on their lot to repair the hail damage to many of their cars, which sounds incredibly low to me. Thus, the GM refused to show me any documentation indicating that these repairs had been made by a reputable firm using the best techniques. They did allow me to inspect for hail dents under florescent lights and I could not see any, but by this point the GM kept saying that maybe this is "not the car for you" and couldn't wait to get rid of me. By then I sensed that he was hiding even more issues with the car from me. At one point during the conversation, I even offered to settle for the hail damaged car if Echo took $3000 off the price of their car, but the GM refused this offer out of hand. At this point, I obliged the GM and walked out of their place of business with my cashier's check in hand as the salesman's eyes bugged out in disbelief. I had to wait about 4 hours while they helped other customers. They screwed me even more than I was on my loan by applying options and coverages I did not want and made that very clear. Now I have a higher monthly payment and loan amount because they wanted to screw over a 22 year old kid buying his first real vehicle. I show up to the dealership after driving an hour and 15 minutes and they assign me to a different rep to who I have not worked with. We went in to test drive a car that we found online. If you go in, ask for Kevin F! He was the only positive part. We might return in the future, but I will only speak to Kevin. The finance guy (sorry I missed his name) was the rudest person I've come across in a long time! I left in tears without buying the car because I didn't agree that I "need" the platinum extended warranty for an extra $70/month... for a car that's still covered under the manufacturers warranty! He wouldn't take no for an answer so we left. Also, the online estimated payment was $100 lower than the lowest price they could give us and we have excellent credit. Condescending & Misogynistic I went to this location with every intention of purchasing a car. I made an appt and arrived on time. I had spoken to a very helpful gentleman but unfortunately he was off during my appt. When I arrived, I was ignored and eventually passed off to another associate. Both of these men spoke to me in a condescending tone and did not take me seriously. The salesman directed any questions or comments to my male friend who had accompanied me. Hands down best car dealership I have been to especially in the Denver area. Most dealerships won't even give me the time of day but EchoPark the second I liked in treated me like a valued costumer. My salesman was bill as he was amazing. It was my first time buying a car and he pulled so many strings and guided me through every hiccup we had to get approved for a car and in the end he ended up getting my payment down 100 bucks cheaper than my original budget!! I was very disappointed in the customer service on the day of my purchase. The day before I would have given 5 stars to James and Lee for their assistance in finding a car that would suit me. I came back the next day to purchase and unfortunately Lee was not available due to a family emergency. The gentleman Bart who assisted me was trying to sell me a warranty through EchoPark, clearly the way they make their money and I was not interested. Then he tried to sell me 2 other packages. I interrupted him to say I was not interested and he MADE me listen to the two other package deals even though I already said I was not interested. Then, the financing: my credit score is 773. They told me the reason I was being offered 5.57 percent is because my score was in the low 700s. I was dubious but unsure of what to do. Then they brought me a form to sign which stated my 773! I of course complained and they finally got me into a lower interest rate. Another way they must put more money into their own pockets. I walked in mentally prepared to be hassled for a car that I couldn't afford, but as soon as I walked in I was greeted warmly and was helped immediately. I explained the amount of money I had at such short notice (my car broke down last week forcing me to get a better car). Not only did I put down a small deposit, the gentleman helping me lowered the down payment to an even more affordable cost for me! They were understanding of my situation, they only showed me cars within my budget, and made sure to explain everything to me. I was never made to feel stupid for asking questions and was not pressured to buy any extra products for my car. Now the car won't start and their service department is less than responsive. All calls go to voice mail and all they do is refer to dealers. I am somewhat of a car fanatic and end up buying a new vehicle every 12-18 months. This means that I have interacted with too many sleazy dealerships to count. I am almost at a loss for words to describe my experience with Echo Park. From the second I stepped foot in the dealership to the days following my purchase I was treated with complete honesty, dignity and respect. I am so used to being treated simply like a way to make a quick buck but instead I was treated like a long term customer and friend. I am so unbelievably impressed by the level of support I received during and after my purchase. I always thought of used car salesmen as sleazy, dishonest, commission crazy people but the folks I interacted with at Echo Park were the absolute complete opposite of that. They didn't try take advantage of my lack of knowledge about cars/financing and wanted to make sure I was completely happy with my big purchase before I left and after I left. I was offered an extremely fair price for my trade (much more than the low balling traditional dealerships) and I paid a fair price for my new car. Shopping at Echo Park was like shopping with a good friend whom you trust and who knows everything there is about a car. A HUGE thank you to Blake and Craig at the Highlands Ranch dealership. You both have have be absolutely remarkable and I will be talking about my positive experience for months....make that years to come. Thank you for your honesty and for "making things right". I can't tell you how much I appreciate that! I love Echo Park's unique business model and will certainly be back when it's time for my next car. Never realized this was a "Carmax" style dealership style or we would have never come. Upon arrival none of the vehicles are unlocked first red flag. Trashy dealers only do this lure you inside so you have to be put into their "system" aka so they can pester you later if you do not buy. Oh and be ready for the- this in not your typical dealer blah, blah.Anyways like I always do I requested to take our test drive without a salesman and just our family. I should have realized how scummy this place was as soon as our "salesman" Michael asked well why would you want to take a test drive buy yourself? ( wow! Not only pathetic but super unprofessional ) he had to go ask his manager. The manager comes over and explains they do not allow that at echopark. I laugh to myself and me and my family leave no questions asked. A little insight folks real dealerships will never! Question you taking a test drive with just you and your family without a salesman. 100% guaranteed. These places with this model pray on people with poor credit and no knowledge of the business. I had previously written a stellar review because my purchasing experience with Rene in the Centennial location was fantastic. However, I must now recommend that no one ever purchase a vehicle from Echo Park as their title clerks are incompetent and it's taken 5 months, numerous phone calls, two return trips to the dealership, and two trips to the DMV to get my car titled and registered AFTER I had to obtain and process the titling documents myself to correct an error. In addition to doing their job for them at my own inconvenience, the title clerks outright lied by telling me I was unreachable even though I've not received any calls, messages, emails, or letters and had been in contact with others at the company trying to resolve the issue and no one mentioned the error. read more

Since writing my first review regarding my truck Echopark has done a lot to mend our relationship, as well as the truck. I would say their GM Joe is a major reason as well as their service department. Kevin, Jaime, and Dave have been great to work with. They have replaced the exhaust manifold that they Sealed initially and I have no noise. They found out my noise in the front end was the differential. A bearing was worn out and they replaced the whole thing. Again, problem solved. In short, as far as the price goes, I'm going to eat the $1,000 but not with a smile. I would definitely look for another car with Echopark. The thing I'll change in the future is how I approach and how thoroughly I inspect the vehicle. 4 out of 5 stars. The 5th will cost you that $1,000. read more

So here's the thing. I have an inherent distrust of car dealerships and even more so, car salesmen. However for my Toyota Tacoma I was willing to deal with it. I found Echo Park on accident. They had an amazingly priced Tacoma, so of course I went in. This is not a normal dealership. Kevin Faulkner was the 'experience guide' (their term) assigned to me. He was absolutely amazing to work with and I'll never to to another dealer while I live on CO. They were completely honest and straight forward about how the company works; no commission, their salesman are all salaried, they don't do dealer fees, they're honest and straight forward. Kevin explained every step of the process, from how they price the car thousands below KBB to how they value my trade. There was no oil slick smile that I've come to expect, only a basic conversation on what they found and what that meant. Overall, I never expected to respect or trust a car salesman, but by the end of my purchase at Echo Park, I absolutely trusted Kevin and the people he works with. We had actually came across this location on accident and started to take a look around the sales associate who helped out was patient and not pushy. I liked the fact that the he communicated with me, I was with my mom, but I was the one making the purchase so it was nice to have someone respect that and not assume since I was younger I couldn't be the one making the purchase. Today I was the Clint that walks in close to closing time and I had a fixed number and down payment and honestly nothing a great credit score. Rufino was so patient with me and stayed after close the day before the holiday. What you don't know about these guys is that they don't receive commission, Rufino didn't need to do that. After I told him I couldn't afford the payment he could of stopped there but he didn't..He tried two more times sending my credit score to other companies to see if they would pick it up and helped me get into my new to me car. My fiance & son test drove a 2016 Toyota Camry on 7/29/19. They wrote up an estimate for buying the car. We went back that evening to purchase the car. After a 2 hr. ordeal, everything was signed & done. They took us to the car only to find out it was the wrong car. They had to cancel everything and start over. Another 1 1/2 hrs. and we were ready to go, mind you it is now 11:30 pm and we have not had any dinner. Go to get in the car and find out they are only giving us one key. Says we can call them tomorrow. Call & find out they are too cheap to have another key made for us & it is now our responsibility at $125.00 a pop. After looking at my paperwork closer, I find they put an extended warranty on it for $2,789.00 that I was not asked about. Yeah! Today I called to see why DMV has not received paperwork to process our title. She says they are 30 days out sending them in. Puts me on hold for a while and comes back and says they had a problem because the person they purchased the car from had not signed everything. Asked her if my purchase of the car was even legal if previous owner had not signed off and she said I didn't have to worry about it. Before I tell you about my experience at Echopark, I have a question. Get a lawyer. How much is it per hour? A hundred dollars or 150 dollars? So if you were cheated by Echopark and you lost $ 130, is it worth suing them? I deleted my original evaluation. Because things are different now. I bought a Mustang here two months ago. They gave me two keys, but the second key is not from the original factory. And no program. So it cann't be used. From the beginning, I suggested to Aaron the staff that the second key was not working. He changed the key's battery but still wonn't work. Aaron told me their service department would contact me in two days. I trusted him blindly and went home. But a week later, their service department didn't contact me. I think they've passed the buck since then. Until a week ago, That's mean about two months later. I accidentally set my key to'mykey' The function of the vehicle is limited, and the problem can only be solved with a second key. I was forced to call Echopark's service department. I want them to take care of it. Their staff said I had to go to Ford's dealership service. Then show me my warranty, and Ford will repair me for free. Then I went to Ford to be told by Ford's staff that the second key wasn't even from the original factory! I've been cheated! And it's not even in basic warranty. They said it was obvious that the second key had no Mustang sign, but a Ford sign. This must not be from the original factory. I want you to notice that the first time I was cheated by Echopark was Aaron. He told me the Echopark service would contact me in two days, but it didn't. The second time I has been cheated was Echopark as a professional car dealer, it was impossible not to know there was a problem with the key. And they've been hiding the thing from me since the beginning. So their third deception was to tell me that Ford dealers would repair the car for free. I'd like to say to Echopark here that the law is the moral bottom line. However. Whether you break the law, depends not only on the cost of the victim fighting you. And it's not just whether you're capable of paying the illegal costs. You're running a joint scam for $ 130, from sales to service. A mere 130 dollars. Bought the integrity of your entire team. That's the 130 dollars. You guys are ridiculous. I tell you, maybe $ 130 is a lot of money for you, so much so that you can be so shameless and irresponsible. But I can afford it. So if you tell me frankly that it needs my own money to fix it, I can safely give you the money and ask you to fix it. But you let Ford get the money. Are you idiots? read more

It was my first time, I had been shopping around at dealerships playing the games with them- haggling, lying, money pushing games they always do, while being harassed on the phone by them. But this place was different! Very welcoming as soon as you walk in, very straight to the point, they don't negotiate prices, so what you see is what you get. They did not give me the price I wanted for my trade in car, but once I told them carmax priced it higher, they not only matched that price- but beat it by $250! JJ and Brent helped me out- both very nice and friendly, we ended up getting a deal done, couldn't be happier with the car! I would defiantly go back for my next car! read more

If I could give the Centennial, CO location less than one star I would!!  Brought my son to buy his first car here after I purchased a vehicle from the Thornton location, had a great experience and even wrote a review for their website He found the perfect car, but the radio was not working and they said it needed an update.  They wanted us to bring it to the Ford dealer two doors down the street and promised they would pay for the repairs.  We were hesitant, but after a lot of back and forth, the manager finally sat down with us, looked us in the eye and told us they would get it in for the repairs, take the SUV off their site, put it in a side lot and as soon as the repairs were made, call us so that he could purchase the vehicle.  The manager even told us that as far as they were concerned, this vehicle was "Sold".  After a week and a half, they didn't call, so my son reached out and was told that they hadn't even had a chance to bring it to the Ford dealer, but the salesman promised to call as soon as it was done.  The next morning I get an email notifying me that the car we had saved had been sold and sure enough, it was the car that they PROMISED my son he could buy as soon as it was ready!  They simply waited for someone to come along and make them an offer to buy the car as is so that they wouldn't have to make the repairs!!  Then, instead of being up front with my son and letting him know they had sold it that day or were in the process, they led him to believe they were still on top of this sale.  VERY disappointing!!  They can not be trusted at the Centennial site!! read more

Last month I did a review on my purchase and rated them a 5. This review is for after purchase customer service. I am leaving for an extended road trip and won't return before my temp registration expires August 13th. I called customer service and after explaining the problem was told that they would issue an extended temp registration. (No charge.) I told them that I would like to pick up the extension that same day and was told it would be ready when I got there. About 5 minutes after that call I received a call from the representative that I had spoken to. She informed me that she just realized that I lived in Pueblo and she didn't want me to have to drive to Centennial and that she would be happy to overnight the extension to me. I had not complained about the distance and in fact was very happy with the fact that I could get an extension. I was impressed not only by how quickly they offered an extension but even more impressed when the representative took the time to call and save me a trip from Pueblo. Paperwork all done, Went to get my plates and wasn't able to because according to the DMV, my driver's license number was transposed wrong on the paperwork. Went back to the dealership. They blamed the DMV on being slow and supposedly didn't return it. DMV told me they returned the paperwork. Got temp tags from the dealership. Sent an email on 11/16/2018 to the person I dealt with after getting the correct paperwork. Went back to the DMV and they needed both the corrected paperwork and original. Did not get a response till the middle of Dec. I am out of patience and will start legal proceedings if this is not cleared up. I am filing a complaint against EchoPark, No accountability at this dealership. Apparently the title specialist is unable to do her job correctly. We were hesitant, but after a lot of back and forth, the manager finally sat down with us, looked us in the eye and told us they would get it in for the repairs, take the SUV off their site, put it in a side lot and as soon as the repairs were made, call us so that he could purchase the vehicle. The manager (Jonathan) even told us that as far as they were concerned, this vehicle was "Sold". After a week and a half, they didn't call, so my son reached out and was told that they hadn't even had a chance to bring it to the Ford dealer, but the salesman promised to call as soon as it was done. The next morning I get an email notifying me that the car we had saved had been sold and sure enough, it was the car that they PROMISED my son he could buy as soon as it was ready! They simply waited for someone to come along and make them an offer to buy the car as is so that they wouldn't have to make the repairs!! Then, instead of being up front with my son and letting him know they had sold it that day or were in the process, they led him to believe they were still on top of this sale. While I wish I could give this place more, I can't. (maybe 2.75). Firstly, there is NO way that it actually goes through a 190 point inspection (I could guarantee that based on our vehicle). Our coolant was far below the minimum level line & on top of it, there was NO CAP to the coolant! If there was an actual inspection, this would have been filled up, and I would have a top on it. Nothing like coming home to find out you have to buy $20 worth of coolant. Then a $10 reservoir​ cap on Amazon​ and tire valve caps b/c only 2 came on the car. (Can I get a refund for my $30+?) The car seems okay otherwise. Will update this later if that ever changes. The service was good, Jason was nice & personable. His demeanor changed a lot & appeared down when we said no thanks on an extended warranty. He asked, "Why wouldn't you guys want something like that?" Well, it's​ nearly an additional $3k plus taxes, so that increases my monthly pmt substantially! For having our own financing, it took 2.5 hours (with 2 toddlers is unreasonable when there's​ you're supposed to eliminate all the extra fluff) and one other person was there bc it was raining! Lastly, while the car was "cleaned," the money that is spent on employing someone to "clean" it a big waste. It was vacuumed & wiped down just in the front, not the trunk area of my SUV so it was still pretty dirty. From a business perspective, you should really contract with a local car-cleaning place & give the customer a voucher as it would be far cheaper & you would have far happier customers! read more
