Here goes an honest review for real this time. Last time I left my honest review I got a call from one of the managers in the dealership trying to bribe me to change my review anyway, I have to first start off by saying that I've owned my vehicle that I purchased from Echo Park for about a year I bought my car last year in August, I bought a 2020 Hyundai sonata and let me tell you it's the worst decision I have ever made in my entire life. I came in with a $6000 down payment for my car. My credit wasn't perfect but it wasn't bad either. They stuck me in this 2020 Hyundai sonata paying $741 a month. I know what a rip off. They lied to me about hidden fees. Echo park participates in predatory lending. Please be aware my fellow minorities and my fellow young people trying to purchase a car from here!! Do your research hard before coming here. My car depreciated $15,000 in value which means I'm $15,000 upside down and to put the icing on top of the cake my car is literally falling apart. I haven't had a car reck and I take good care of it. They sold the car to me with problems that I didn't see until I drove off the lot. I could be driving a luxury vehicle with the credit I have and the down payment I put down on this toy car that I bought from echo park. Echo park literally gives off pushy salesmen. Although, it's not 100% their fault about this car deal they got me in to its 90% their fault. If you are going to purchase a vehicle from these scam artists just make sure you bring your brain with you because that's not what I did. BTW I do not wish to be contacted by anyone from Echo Park! This place is awful. The finance department is shady and does not look out for the best interest of their customers. I knew exactly what my interest rate should be, but their policy doesn't allow them to use a loan from a bank or credit union. That should have been the red flag that sent me packing, but unfortunately they had the exact car (a unique car I cant just find anywhere) so I stuck it out. When they came back with my interest rate it was almost 3% higher than it really should have been, so the dealer had the finance guy come out to talk to me. He was rude and awful right from the start. I told him we had asked if they used the bank/credit union that approved us before we started the process and he simply said yeah I didnt want to check with them. Finally after another 45 minutes he comes back with a lower interest rate from that institution. It still wasn't what I should have been approved for, but it was better, so I put my hands up and said "you win" and I took it. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER CAR FROM THIS PLACE AGAIN. To make matters worse it took EchoPark almost 2 months to get the title handled correctly and I barely got my plates before the temporary plates expired. I dealt with the license bureau and they point blank said EchoPark made several errors and had to send it back to them and they took their time to send it back to the bureau. Very frustrated with sales, made an appointment to test drive a car. Drove an hour to make that appointment only to be told I need to wait as someone had come in and was out for test drive, so I get to wait 30 minutes only to be told oops sorry they decided to buy it. So now I have an hour drive home. Two and a half hours of my time wasted. If they were walk ins why allow the test drive 30 min prior to a confirmed appt and if they had an appt for 530 why make another for 6pm??? Horrible Customer Service,!!!! read more

My husband and I had a fabulous experience with Paul Kaiser in Thornton. We walked in without an appointment and Paul spent time getting to know us, the kind of car we wanted, how it would best fit our lifestyle, etc. He was incredibly patient with us as we test drove multiple cars, walked around the lot, and sat in other cars without any pressure. Unfortunately, the car that we wanted had just been shipped down to the Echo Park in Centennial, otherwise we would have loved to buy it from Paul. Our salesman in Centennial, Craig Jaramillo, was a rude, condescending individual and actually tried to talk us out of buying the car, which made no sense. I actually prefaced our introduction by telling him what a fantastic experience we had the day before up in Thornton, and he stared at me blankly. He was completely disinterested in the entire experience, and pushed Toyota so hard I wondered why he wasn't working at the dealership next door. He barely introduced himself and did not shake my hand when I arrived or left, which is common courtesy when meeting someone who is about to purchase a car from you, I would think. In addition to seeming disinterested in selling us the car, he only seemed to care about selling us the $3,000 warranty, which we did not want. After asking us about the warranty 5 times and us saying no 5 times, we started to wonder why the car sucked so bad that we needed a 3 year warranty on a 2016 car with 33k miles?? I can't say our experience with the Centennial location was positive, and not nearly as positive as our experience with Paul. Paul was amazing and I wouldn't hesitate to buy a car from him in the future! 5 stars for Paul and 1 star for the Centennial location. read more

By far the worst dealership I've ever been to. We came in close to closing time so they were basically just trying to rush us into buying a vehicle. We got to view one car and when we asked to look at a couple other vehicles they had on the lot but was told that I would be less likely to qualify for the other vehicles although the price and year were the exact same. I got ridiculed for looking at other dealerships since they supposedly would just do a big hard inquiry on my credit, and "echo park doesn't do that". Well as you can see from my picture attached they tanked my credit with multiple checks, but I guess that's my fault for not doing my research and signing away, giving them permission to check my credit in the first place. They then came back to tell me the $15000 vehicle I was looking at would be $450 a month, when I expressed to them with my budget I wouldn't be able to go over $350 a month I was told in these exact words "beggars can't be choosers".. Then after I explained that I feel insulted because I forgot beggars go in the market to purchase a vehicle they said they'd see if they could get the monthly payment any lower. Both the salesman and finance guy came out together to tell me that I am getting the lowest possibly payment they can offer and if I want it to be any lower than I might at well expect to take it home without the engine.. as he laughed about it, he continued to say how I might as well even take it without the wheels or the doors at that price of $350 a month... After being insulted, rushed, and laughed at.. I left. Maybe it's because I'm a female under 30 and they assume I didn't know anything and could be pressured into buying a vehicle if talked down to or maybe I just chose the wrong dealership to walk into. I'd prefer to give 4 1/2 stars because of their website but rounding up because we are very happy with the car, price and process. Good: In and out with test drive in 2 1/2 hours. Price was great and no haggling. Salesperson mentioned extended warranty but quickly dismissed. Same with GAP insurance. He mentioned interior protection plan several times and glad he did. It (hopefully) is a good value. Disappointed: the website calculator offers rates much lower that they will provide. Excellent credit shows 4.29% on website, dealer offers 4.99%. So expect to receive a rate at least 1/2% higher that the website shows. Just ok: the interior just was not as clean as I would have hoped. A good detail would have been an easy fix but they just give it a quick vacuum and wipe down to get it out the door. Exterior was washed and looks nice and clean. Overall, I would highly recommend. read more

I had a great experience with Genesis at EchoPark Automotive. I needed to trade in a 2020 Subaru Crosstrek for a 4x4 with more power to get me to and from my job on an unmaintained dirt road in the mountains. I explained my situation and what I was looking for with Genesis and she found me several options to test drive. Never once during the process did I feel intimidated or pressured to make a purchase. With each test drive, we'd regroup and discuss what I liked or didn't like about that vehicle and she would make the necessary adjustments to find a more suitable vehicle. After several test drives, I found my perfect vehicle - 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude. The trade-in process for my Subaru was quick, easy, and they offered a substantial amount for it. The pricing for the Jeep was fair and the SUV was in excellent condition with only 20,000 miles on it. I highly recommend working with Genesis if you're in the market for a car! read more

I appreciated him being a human and not a sakes person, he was 100% honest through out the process and ended up getting us in an even better car (same model, same price, less miles, better CARFAX!!). My experience with EchoPark centennial was easily a 15 out of 10! I was in a crunch to buy a new car after being in an accident and totaling my car. I ended up buying a vehicle and after two short days I realized was not the car for me...reluctantly I called to see if I could come in and exchange it for something else and to my surprise they were completely accommodating and got me into a new car within hours and I was off and extremely happy with my second purchase! Just this last weekend we bought a ram truck with only 15,000 miles on it from the centennial location. Test drove a few trucks at both echo locations and decided on which one we liked then decided to make a purchase, side note, their interest rate is high but you can always buy from them and refinance through your local bank shortly after. During the test drive we noticed a tire was low they informed us they would it to discount tire across the street to get a nail removed from the tire. After the tire got repaired everything seemed to go smooth with the purchase and sales girl was really helpful. Time to leave, It was a sunny day with chance of rain so we decided to make the over 5 hour drive home. On the drive it began to rain and I went to turn on the wipers and NOTHING! Guess the 190 point inspection missed that and only did 189 point (hoping nothing else shows up later making it a 188 or worse inspection). Stopped at a local ram dealer on the way and they looked at the wipers, tried working on the then concluded the wiper motor wasn't working. Waited out the storm and drove home hoping for not further issues with the truck or weather. Being memorial weekend we waited till Tuesday to call their loyalty number that we were given for issues. Called Tuesday and left a voicemail, the note said it would in most cases be 24 hours before calling back. Wednesday comes and still nothing, tried to call again and got the voicemail, guess I would wait. Heard nothing from them on Thursday and called yet again, finally got ahold of someone. Loyalty number is crap, was basically told what is the expectation for you calling. I was told that sometime the cars after the "190 point inspection" was done the car sits for a bit on the lot and things can happen. So I am lead the believe that the wiper motor blew during the 2 weeks after being inspected? I guess the motor on the wipers blew while sitting on a lot unused before it was sold? The guy on the phone wouldn't even acknowledge that maybe they miss that point of the inspection. Ended the conversation with no resolution just things happen and we will let our service people know. My concern is the fact that when driving down the interstate in a busy traffic rainstorm on a newer truck one would assume the vehicle wipers worked. I'm just saying that type of crap causes accidents and people can DIE!!!!! Luckily it appears the tire actually got fixed. read more

I've purchased five cars prior to my most recent purchase here. Those dealerships don't compare to my experience at Echo Park. After a week long search I finally found my Chevy Cruze on their website, but it was at their Thornton location. I chatted with a representative via their website. I just wanted to schedule a test drive to see how it drove and if it was the right car. I was prepared to make the long trip up to Thornton, but much to my surprise they offered to transfer the car to Centennial. Not only did they transfer the car, but they also put a hold on it for me. It was off the website listings shortly after I scheduled my test drive. When I got to the dealership my "guide" Parco (goes by Patrick) was waiting at the front desk w/ my name & car waiting and ready to go. Even offered water/coffee before we started the test drive. He was friendly and knowledgeable. There was no pressure, no hidden fees, a lot of options when it came to doing the extended warranty, which he explained to me and let me look over on their I-pad. The price of the car was the same as it was on the website listing - no changes or mark ups or "market based pricing". I was surprised to learn that you get free car washes for the life of the vehicle. I pointed out that the windshield had a small chip in it, and with no questions asked, they threw in a free windshield replacement. They called a couple of days later and we got it scheduled no problem. The coffee machine they have is amazing... tons of choices, almost like a mini Starbucks in there, which was great while I was waiting on the windshield replacement to dry. The financing was fast, much faster than I've ever gone through before. I highly recommend them! read more

Finally Yelp! has the correct location :) Christmas day, our son totals his car. He was ok, but the car was toast! We needed to get him a 'new' one quick so he could get to work. We didn't want to spend much, but we wanted something reliable. A day or so later, we called our friend Lee at Echo Park and explained the situation, and he said "I'll se what we can do". Within minutes, he called us back and said he might have something, less than we expected, and he would have it ready for us to look at in about an hour. (He had to get it brought down from the Thornton location). He called us early, said it was ready to look at, and we went. We've known Lee for a while, but we have never purchased a car from a facility like this. It was so clean, bright and everyone was so friendly. The process of looking at, reviewing and purchasing a car is like nothing I've seen before. I've bought new cars, uses cars from used car lots, and through brokers, but this experience was like something from the future. We were able to review all the data on a tablet, and you can even browse other cars in their tablet 'kiosk'. Everything is there, and the number of photos they take is unreal! We purchased the car, and almost all the paper work was on a tablet. No fuss, no muss. Quick, easy and actually a pleasure. I would definitely go there the next time I need a car. They have all styles, configurations and price ranges. You want good and basic, they have it. You want high end luxury, they have it! read more

I am a qualified reviewer as I previously worked in this business at a "traditional" store within walking distance of this one. You might not know that Echo Park is part of NC-based automotive retailing giant Sonic Automotive. In 2014 Sonic decided to experiment with a new "customer-centric" automotive sales process, a model on which Echo Park is based. Pricing here is no haggle, and it is competitive. An accident that totaled my daughter's car put us in the market. I found the listing online at the Thornton location. The first delight was that they offered to move the car to the Centennial location, set up an appointment for us to see it and put the car on hold for 24 hours. This latter point is huge, as the traditional guys wanted a $500 non-refundable deposit for a hold when I helped a friend find a car for his daughter recently. Parking here is easy, and the front of the store is graced by a gas fire pit (nice touch). The inside is a cross between an Apple store and the lobby of the emerging hipster hostel/hotels. Ipads are hard-mounted (wish they swiveled) on bar stool desks, pre-loaded with all the automotive links you would need to check inventory, reviews and competitive pricing. Echo Park used inventory is nicely balanced and the vehicles are top shelf; it is obvious that they have good wholesale buyers. Forget the term salesperson; here you are greeted by a non-intrusive (and non-commissioned) "experience guide" who is your primary point of contact throughout the process.The odds are good that your guide won't have an automotive sales background which is both good and bad. Where I found this falling short was in product knowledge. I am accustomed to and appreciate a thorough walk around of the vehicle, highlighting features and benefits. This takes some training and time to get to know your inventory. Yet, I believe most buyers have done their homework online and know what they are looking for. Such was the case with us. In spite of the one point of contact in the process, it was still a bit tedious to buy. One is handed an iPad to fill out credit app and loan application, there was some finance manager interaction (although we were not barraged with buying add ons, all of which are available to you) and in spite of a financing glitch, the Echo Park team quickly came up with a solution. All were accommodating and nothing felt pushy or rushed. There are no dealer fees or surprises; the price is the price. You pay the sales tax and registration (which still comes as a surprise to some). The car was detailed to a good standard, but the paint was like sandpaper and was in bad need of clay bar (most people don't know what this is/does). I would have gladly paid a bit more for this, as would most customers (Echo Park, take notice). Still, no one can detail a car like I can, and I spent 3 hours on the weekend "making it right." You can't beat a 7 day/300 mlle return policy and a 90 day powertrain warranty, and LIFETIME free car washes- YES! I returned to the store a few times after I found a few minor issues with the car. The service department was exceptionally courteous and properly diagnosed and cured the issues. The service area is spotless and I love that it's all visible from the waiting area with floor-to-ceiling glass walls. This was a a great car-buying experience. read more

They sold me a lemon. Plain and simple. I purchased a 2011 Hyundai Tucson from them in September 2017. It was in the shop twice within two weeks for check engine lights. Both ended up being fairly major repairs. I should've known... Fast forward to a few months later. The AC stops working. Back to the shop. Oh now the alignment is bad... back to the shop. Now it's July 2018, haven't even had the car for a year, and the check engine light is back on. Of course Echo Park has now closed all of their service locations. I bite the bullet and take it to the dealership. They proceed to find 5 major things wrong with the car including the accelerator sensor, canister valve, drive belt and timing seal to the tune of about $2000. Oh did I mention that the warranty Echo Park sold me covers absolutely nothing? The dealership said the car looks like it sat and rotted and was maybe even a Hurricane Harvey car according to the VIN. Thanks, Echo Park! If I wasn't so broke from this damn car, I'd sue your asses for selling me a lemon. read more

We recently bought a car from EchoPark in Centennial. The experience was a good one from start to finish, and even afterwards. My wife test drove a few cars and we went back a few days later to test drive one more to make sure, and then buy one. We were able to buy the car within an hour or so on a Saturday. Very easy and transparent process. fast forward 3 days later, and my wife notices that the plastic grill on her new (used) car is cracked slightly. Its not super noticeable but for a car that you just bought, its annoying. We called up a Lexus dealer who told us it would cost around $600 for parts and labor to fix. We called up Echo Park service and asked if they would fix this. I was skeptical that they would fix it, as it was a used car that we are presumably buying "as-is". They told us to bring the car down and the manager would take a look and let us know what thye would do. Within 5 minutes, the manager looked at the grill and promised they would take care of it. They ordered the new grill and setup an appointment for us the next week. We brought the car back and they had the grill installed within a couple hours. free of charge. Overall, the purchase process was easy and quick and hassle-free. And to go above and beyond to fix the grill AFTER the car was purchased was impressive. well done read more

Initially, I was pretty satisfied with my purchase. I was talked into buying the extended warranty for approximately $2800. At the time of purchase, I was specifically told that if I took my car to a specific dealer (Boulder Nissan) for repairs, I would not have to pay the deductible of $100. This was discussed at length because I did not live anywhere near that shop. While I was in the area, I did schedule some repairs and was surprised when I was told I'd have to pay the deductible. I called the warranty dealer (Alli) and was told a deductible had to be paid anywhere but the place where I bought the car, which has no repair shop. When I called Ecopark and spoke to the manager, Jay, he said that I must have misunderstood and that the salesperson who sold me the car was no longer there and there was nothing he could do about it. He acted as if I did not understand. My memory of the conversation with the salesperson is very clear. Moral of the story - don't believe what you are told about warranties. read more

Despite the headaches we are very impressed with the urgency shown in correcting the mistakes made since our first review. With that said, our initial experience when we bought our vehicle was great. We arrived late in the day to look at a specific vehicle we had researched and the staff could not have been more hospitable. Our salesman was awesome and I apologize for not being able to remember his name; he and his wife had twin girls on the way so I wish him luck with that . And as I said before, we could not be happier with the Nissan Rouge we purchased. I made an appt. to test drive the car just one day after that call and was told if it sells they would notify me. I received a text the next morning to confirm I was coming to my appt. The text was from a person - not automated. I said I would be there but I was going to be on a lunch break so I wouldn't have a ton of time. I arrive for my test drive and the guy can't find the car. Apparently it sold and nobody bothered to notify me :( That was a wasted hour of my day that totally could have been avoided if they were more organized. Moral of this story... Scheduled an appointment to check out a Lexus I had seen online. Showed up for my appointment, checked in at the desk when I walked in. Was told they would be with me in just a moment and to take a seat. Waited for 40 minutes without anyone coming over to help or explain why it was taking so long.
