I was recently in to purchase a car. The overall experince hasn't been great. I live an hour away and have had to make three trips back to the dealiship and still have to make one more trip back. The reasons for returning really stem from the salesman who sold me the car, Mason. He didn't communicate well, or do the things he said would be done when I bought the car. It felt like a quick sale with no follow up, or care. After speaking with his manager (Misha) all issues have since been resolved or are on track to be resolved. I'm very happy with my new car, and my experience has been great with everyone else there. Kassandra Arriaga in finance, Jason at the service center, Tina in detailing, and Misha the sales manager. Although I'm happy things are being taken care of, 8+ hours in the car, 8+ hours waiting, and lots of gas waisted. I wouldn't recomend anyone to buy here. read more

Service department was pretty poor. I made an appointment and told the advisor that my window was jumping when I pushed it down. He told me it was tested and it was normal. I stated on a 2026 Toyota Tundra it's normal for the window to jump and he said yes and moved on like it was no big deal. I let the service manager know and nothing. Luckily Toyota let me know I can do all warranty work at another location. I would not use this dealership to purchase or service you will be disappointed. read more

I had an appointment to trade in my 2017 tindra 1794 V8 with a used car salesman that had been chasing me on fb through my market place for sale ad, today. Not only did I stay in touch and admit I would be a few minutes late but kept texting him as to where the trade in salesman was supposed to be - I waited by their receptionist area for almost and hour ! They text me the whole time saying I must be on the wrong building or whatever and never made any attempt to get someone out in the lobby to meet with me! What chaos and a waste of my time- I have bought new cars from this store in the past and had my vehicles serviced here and never have been treated so poorly before. Walked in this Saturday and checked a used car. Agreed to move on. While the salesman and I were working on the paper, I was told that the car was sold to someone else by Ed Jones, the used car sales manager, without any explanation. They actually allowed another customer to test drive and buy the car while we were working on this. What happened to your first come first served model? Ed Jones doesn't care about his customers. He just wanted a sale. This is quite messed up for a pretty successful car dealership. This may not happen to many other customers, but be aware. read more

I came in for my 52.5K service. I had purchased a multi-year prepaid maintenance plan in 2017. This visit would be the last on the plan. I arrived just b4 8am for my appointment. It was typical Saturday and they were swamped with customers. I was told ahead of time it should be about 2hrs for service. At 9:30am, I got a text msg from the service advisor (Jeremy Sittnrr) that they recommended replacement of both the engine and cabin air filters for $75. I said yes. He applied a $20 coupon, so my total cost including oil change was $ 78.69; I checked out by 10:30am. Their waiting area has plenty of comfortable chairs and coffee. They allow waiting customers to overflow into the sales floor for additional seating. Toyota moved all vehicles off sales floor in 2020. read more

I purchased a car in March 2024. When I tried to register it, the DMV said that AutoNation gave me faulty paperwork on my Certificate of Origin. Specifically, AutoNation MSO " affidavit does not cover skipping assignment " (which they did, just crossing off the first assignment for what looks like a typo. The DMV also said "the seller needs to sign the Odometer disclosure on the bottom of MSO" which they didn't do. I've called them at least 5 times to get this corrected with no return call. My temp tag is going to expire and they have just decided to ignore their mistake. read more

clause in their vehicle service agreement application (vsa) says: "verbal statements made by the dealer to me contrary to the vsa's provisions shall be to no effect. also clarifications can be made to the vsa depending on purchase price. this seems to allow them to sell you one product on your paperwork and put a different product in the computer (without telling you)! that is what happened to me. in their sales contract: no oral promises: you acknowledge and agree that you are not relying upon any statement or promise by any salesperson, sales manager, or any other employee of ours that is not contained in a written document signed by us and you. be sure you read every word of any agreement you sign with auto nation. lying is now a protected "corporate sales technique". buyer beware. read more

I have personal experience with a close friend and colleague who is having a very difficult time with a recent used car purchase. These folks are liars and cheats. Namely Ed Jones and Adrian Paraschiv who is the CEO. They have lied to us and based on information provided to customer also lied to their attorneys as to what has transpired. They refuse to honor their warranty, offer ANY reasonable resolution and blame the customer. I would not have believed it unless I personally observed some of the communications myself. They will do everything possible to weasel out of their responsibilities. They are dishonest and not trustworthy. Absolutely no response from Corporate Autonation in Florida. The kids area in the waiting room is so disgusting. The room is the smallest enclosed space in the entire building. It looks like the toys have not cleaned in a very long time, if ever. They are black with dirt/gunk all over them. The room smells dirty and was clearly not a safe place for my kids to play. I understand this area isn't for everyone but when you're waiting 90+ minutes for a routine oil change, it would be nice to have somewhere for them to be able to hang out. read more

I have a 2022 Highlander. My first oil change was performed at Toyota Nation when I lived in Colorado. I moved to Hernando, FL in June of 2023. My next oil change was performed by Village Toyota of Homosassa Springs, FL., on Oct, 11 2023. When Village Toyota changed the oil they informed me that the oil pan bolt had been over torqued and that the pan threads were stripped and came out with the bolt. They told me the pan would need to be replaced but that they were able to get the bolt to torque this once, but it would only be good for this oil change. At that time their service department attempted to get authorization from Toyota Nation to change the oil pan. They gave up after about 20 minutes when several attempts to reach your dept failed. They advised me to contact Toyota national customer relations, which I did. They contacted Toyota Nation. I received a voice mail the next day from Collin Macowicz?. I returned his call the next day and left a voice message. I then returned his call another 10 times over a 3 month period as well as leaving messages with other associates 3 or 4 times that said they would give him the message directly. Last month I contacted Toy national again and explained my situation. They assigned a new case number but had a record of the original complaint. They contacted Toyota Nation again. I received a call form Tony Ray. He said he would get it taken care of. Ten days later I had heard nothing. I called Tony Ray again and he said he had advised a manager and thought it had been taken care of. That was on April 29th. I have still not heard from Toyota Nation. Today I called Toyota National CS and advised them again of my lack of success. They were able to contact a manager named Dave in Toyota Nation sales. He gave me your contact information. I have provided both Toyota National CS and Toyota Nation copies of the Village Toyota service report showing the damaged oil pan report. My Highlander is now past due for its next oil change and I am still trying to resolve this issue. After 20 some attempts to contact Centennial Auto Nation I have received no response. read more

They told me the recall will take several hours. I brought it in a 10 a.m. I had my laptop so I was able to work. Everyone in the lobby had been called so I approached a different service representative and he followed up. It was done at 12:15 p.m. and it was now 6 p.m. I was there for 6 extra hours! Now, I am trying to get another oil change scheduled and there is not a date open until 5 weeks from today. So, I drive another 1,000 miles or more over the mechanical light to get in for service? Spent some time with Joe Bates on a Saturday looking at a Toyota Tacoma. Went home to do some research. Called Joe Weds to say we'd be there Thursday around 6 to buy a truck. He asked for stock #s for the 2 we wanted to compare to make sure the trucks were there and ready. Sent. Thursday, I told him our budget and he said we can make it work and tells me what I need to bring for my trade including that "both of the trucks are front line ready" and he'd be there to help us. I again said I'd be there AROUND 6, but was reliant on 2 jobs letting us go on time. We get there about 6:20, didn't even stop to eat. We get there and go out to look for the trucks, find 1 and take it for a test drive. The other is nowhere to be found. After driving around the lot for some time, we find it not ready, no stickers, not clean and the remote isn't working. Interesting. So, we start the paperwork for the one we drove. He takes the credit app to the office. He's promised we'd get offers for our "AA level credit, but comes back after getting into a loud argument with another employee over issues with a printer and hands us a 10.99% interest rate and a $1,000 a month payment which was double what we expected. My wife left after a couple terrible offers since this was clearly nowhere near what we had discussed previously. He brought numbers for the 3rd time, so I took those and went to talk to my wife in the car. Told him I'd be back in 10 mins or less. When I came back in, Joe was nowhere to be found, the table was cleared off and the computer was off so I went back outside, confused. As soon as I walked out, a guy locked the doors. It was 30 mins before closing. We waited outside for about 30 mins. No text. No call. Nothing from Joe. As we were preparing to leave, a guy came out asking if we were customers of Joe and if we were planning on finishing the deal. Not anymore. To both. The next day Joe texted in the am asking "what did we decide from last night?" then called 3x. I was working and couldn't talk, so I texted. These are copied and pasted - Me: "We had talked yesterday afternoon on the phone about what it was going to take to get the truck purchased. I said I need to keep my payments as close to $xxx as possible. You said with 8 to $10,000 down we will be able to make that happen. Then you came to the table with a 10.99% interest rate and payments around $x,xxx. We have worked too hard for too long to get to where we are to be insulted that way. When I went back in you were gone and the table was clear, computer shut down. As soon as I walked back out the door they locked it behind me. We really don't have time for a lot of back and forth and thought by disclosing where we're at we could avoid that, so if you want to let us know your best offer, we'll consider it. Otherwise we'll thank you for your time and keep looking." Joe's reply: "Bill even when we showed you the 6.19. The payment was higher with nine grand down then xxx and it's all about the mass. I can't do anything about the price but I will say we spent three hours together on a Saturday and I came in at 6 PM on my day off and you didn't show until 630 then you leave and I don't see you for 30 minutes you're out in the truck had 10 minutes to close. I walked out and leave thinking you've left I'm not doing business this way feel free to keep looking." Our time was wasted and then we were blamed for it and told our business was unwelcome. I did not ask for him to come in on his day off or to hear long stories on Saturday causing the visit to take 3 hours. It was not our fault we had to spend so much time looking for a vehicle that turned out not to be ready when we hadn't even taken the time yet to have dinner after working all day. Joe was hostile and made promises he made no effort to keep once at the finish line. In the end, I missed out on a truck I would have liked to purchase. Very disappointing. read more

My key fob fell apart while I was changing the battery and I wasn't able to figure out how to put it back together. JT in the parts department kindly said he'd give it a try and lo and behold he had it back together and functional in less than 5 minutes. With a smile and at no charge. I am happy I bought my RAV4 at this dealership and that I continue to service it there. After being a customer of Autonation Toyota service for over a decade, my last visit burned me so badly that I will never go back. I trusted them because of the Toyota brand, but they lost my trust. I took my car in because the engine was hesitating and there was an indicator light on the dash. But after paying for $1200 in repairs and dealing with their dismissive attitude, I still have the same problems. Plus, the tech lost my keys, and it took 3 more trips and several weeks for them to replace and reprogram my fob. My service advisor never once apologized for this massive inconvenience, even after I suggested it. Do not ever buy a service agreement. Purchased a basic plan that included oil changes every 5,000. Just about every time I went in there was "something" else wrong - tires, brakes, wipers. They did not honor the whole agreement. They did an oil change and tire rotation when I did not authorize it because the service guy was supposed to find out about my agreement. I got my first car from this Toyota location 15 years ago and have been a loyal Toyota customer ever since. I don't live near the Arapahoe location but my new job is very close so I decided to return to this dealership after many years going elsewhere. All I needed was an oil change, my car is less than two years old, and the wait wasn't horrible. At first, I left happy, albeit with a filthy car still (whereas other Toyota locations put your car through the wash at the end of the appointment, AutoNation most certainly did not). During my drive home, however, I immediately noticed that my breaks were screeching horribly and they continued to do so until I took the car back in. It's not easy to find the time to go into the shop, and it always takes hours out of the day, so it took me and my spouse about a month a half to get the car back into the shop. We rearranged both of our schedules so that my souse could take the car into the Mountain States location, which is not near either of our offices but has quickly become our preferred location over the last 5 years. AutoNation on Arapahoe told me when I left after my initial oil change that my brake pads were at a 7 and an 8 in the front and back. That was clearly not the case, although that's likely what they were when I took the car into the shop that day! When Mountain States Toyota looked at them earlier this week, they told us the front break pads were now at a 3 and needed to be placed!! It's all very shady to me, and I don't understand how I could take my car in with well-functioning breaks and leave with completely malfunctioning ones that the dealership told me were in good shape?! Maybe my pads were switched out?? Whether intentional or not, that is just not the kind of service I expect for my vehicle of all things. I put my life in that car's hands day in and out, and I won't be returning to AutoNation Toyota. read more

1) someone smoked a cigarette in my truck, the mechanic, the guy that brought my truck around, someone. 2) Came in to get a 10,000 mile oil change + fix tire pressure sensor. This is 3rd time they've attempted to fix something tire sensor. They struck out again and I have to go back. Positive: my intake person was polite and informative. Do not shop here. We where smart enough to walk away and not purchase from these scammers. Long story short, We go to trade in a Scion XA in practically flawless condition because the manager of the work shop says oh you can probably get 10K trade in with this car, we later check kelly Blue book and found the vaule at about $6000, They had 12 Hail damaged FR-S with the price tag of 19,999 on them. We where told the car was a 6 cylinder. Test drive was ok, but got the smell of burning oil from the engine after running it for about 45 minutes. We popped the hood and found the engine was 4 cylinders... We returned, filled out the paper work and waited about another 40 minutes. They came back told us the car was actually worth 23,000, with interest at 12% on a AAA credit rating, and the payments where 588 a month for 4 years,, btw the trade in they where offering for a car with no issues and in perfect working condition was $250 with the excuse being that they have to replace the windshield and remove a single dent, 250 dollars... When we saw the price we walked away feeling insulted. Bait and switch incompetent sales staff Criminal trade in values on their own brand. Poor maintenance Sales staff lied, ignored, and where completely incompetent about the product. This place is a scam. I just bought my (almost) brand new car with brand new tires less than 6 months ago but with my luck, I got a nail in my tire. I called Toyota AutoNation service department to get a quote on how much a patch up would be or if I needed a whole tire. Luckily, the patch job was all I needed I tried to set up an appointment but the guy said I could walk in any time because it would only take about 30 minutes so I drove there and had it looked at right away. Originally it was gonna be about $20 which is fair. I waited and my car was done and they guy said it was so easy they didn't even need to lift or move my car so he didn't even charge me! Seriously best customer service goes to these guys in the service department. Got me in & out quickly with NO charge seriously?! How great! Made my day. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I've only taken my car to Toyota dealerships since getting it almost 5 years ago, and I've never seen such a sorry excuse for a service department. I took my car in for a service after the light came on, and the initial interaction with the service rep was odd. I told her I was in for my 85k mile service, but the rep asked what exactly I wanted done... uhmmm whatever an 85k entails? She then asked what other work I've had done on the car. Uhmmm you can look all that up using my VIN just like they do at every other dealership. She then said I'd need a multi point inspection and a tire rotation. I said I just had my summer tires put on a few weeks prior so I don't think they need to be rotated, but she insisted. It was only $20 so I went with it. I was told the service would take an hour and a half, it took over 3. I waited in a long line to checkout. Because the service took twice as long as promised, I got stuck in rush hour traffic. After my hour & half drive home in bumper to bumper traffic, I realized my front hubcap was missing. After weeks of playing phone tag with management trying to get the cap replaced (they didn't even think of offering to replace it until I demanded it), I gave up and went to Mountain States Toyota and paid $100 for a new hubcap. So a $20 tire rotation that I didn't even need cost me $120 and lots of frustrating phone calls. Save yourself the frustration and money, and go to any other service department. Mountain States said my car would take 2.5 hours, and it was done in 1. The cost was exactly what was promised, and the service was impeccable. read more

Getting my car serviced here (oil changes and tires) is pretty quick, even when it's pretty busy. The staff are friendly and seem to want to help you. I bought touch-up paint from the parts department and they had no problem taking my coupon for a discount on the price. A couple years ago, I bought two used vehicles from here and both experiences were fantastic. One of the cars, a 2007 Camry, did have a transmission issue and the transmission needed to be replaced though. I wasn't too happy and the dealership wasn't willing to help out with the cost. . read more

Poor customer service in both sales and service they all have attitude, makes me think that's a required skill to get any job there. We serviced our new Rav4 there for three years, every single time we took it for a service they were trying to sell us something... the battery needed to be replaced two and a half years in the lease, they quoted us 4 TIMES the price we got on a well-known brand battery somewhere else. Three years we serviced our car there and every time a service was due and we called they either scheduled it weeks ahead or told us they accept walk-ins but it will take over 4-5 hours for the oil change... insane!! Three years we serviced our car there and not once they washed it, different excuse every time, washing machine is down, too cold, long line they claim it will set us back another hour, so we naturally say no. I switched to Mountain States Toyota service and the difference was day and night. AutoNation have bad customer service, shady sales people, high prices... save your time and hard-earned money and don't service your car or shop at AutoNation. read more

Service incompetence. Didn't know how to affix the skid plate on my TRD Pro after they removed it to change oil. Stripped a couple of the bolt holes. Had to have the holes rethreaded by High Country Performance. They did not return my call after I left a serious voicemail regarding this issue. Know that you're dealing with that same car sales culture that our grand parents were accustomed to, an American tradition! No big deal. But, for car service? Bought a 2018 4-Runner from Toyota. During the upgrade to bigger wheels and tires, my wheel guy, broke the TPMS sensor. The truck is so new, they didn't have the code to turn the light off. Brought it over to Auto Nation for a quick fix to turn the light off. They wanted to charge me for the "service". It's a 5 minute job to reset the sensor. Expect the 2.5 stars of service at this location. Totally ridiculous. I would not recommend this dealership. read more

Came here for service on my Highlander, woman that greeted me was great! I wanted to be driven about 1/2 mile to get a pedi while I waited. I stood at the shuttle counter for 30 mins with countless employees walking by, not one stopped to say anything to me. I asked an employee about the shuttle service, his reply was, "oh they aren't here" and kept on walking. Certainly did not feel valued as a customer. I know the shuttle service is a nice to have, but my bigger gripe is that NO one even acknowledged that I was there. Incidentally both parking spaces for the shuttle service were occupied by the shuttle vehicles. read more

Took our Camry to Autonation Arapahoe to change the Valve Assembly vacuum S and was charged $162 for the Part and $261 for Labor. After research, the part can be purchased for $30-$50 and labor by a repair facility would be no more than $100. Autonation was a total rip off with their exorbitant charge of 5 times the price for the part and labor of $173 per hour for 1.5 hours to install. Absolutely STAY AWAY from this Toyota service dealership. Will never use them again. read more

I had three bad experiences here, and a couple good. The three bad include leaving a nail in a tire after I told them about it, leaving me to think they at least attempted to plug the hole. I waited there for hours as they tried to figure out the tire issue, so leaving with the nail still in the tire was infuriating. Called the manager, left a message, no reply. Overall, I don't think they want people's business. There is no effort to assist or help, they're full of excuses and stalling until the customer gives up and takes their business elsewhere. read more

Literally haven't even been to the service department yet but the phone calls were all I needed to not ever want to go to this place! I called service on behalf of my friends car that is there to find out a status on it. I literally got transferred back and forth from the operator to random people for 16 MINUTES because nobody wanted to talk to a customer apparently. So eventually I hung up and gave them the benefit of the doubt that maybe they just happened to be really busy.
