Timberline Craft Kitchen & Cocktails was one of the highlights of our girls trip! My friend and I had such a great experience from start to finish. I ordered the steak with potatoes and Brussels sprouts, and everything was cooked perfectly. My friend went with the mushroom curry and added chicken, and it was delicious. This was probably the busiest place at the outlets (besides the dispensary!), but the service never skipped a beat. Our server was friendly and attentive, and the portions were so generous that we both had enough leftovers for a second meal. Even though it's located at the outlets, don't let that fool you. The beautiful interior and inviting patio make it feel like you're dining somewhere much more upscale. Great food, excellent service, and a comfortable atmosphere--I would absolutely come back the next time I'm in Silverthorne. read more

They have a nice selection of brunch and lunch dishes, and it was easy to find something appealing. I ordered the Roasted Sweet Potato Salad ($17), while my husband chose the Garlic Shrimp and Bacon Salad ($22). Both salads were fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. My husband finished his, but I could only eat about half of mine, so I happily took the rest home for another meal. I also tried one of their handcrafted cocktails, "This Will Fix Your Life" (Bear Creek Vodka, ginger liqueur, lavender, and honey, $16). It was light, refreshing, and paired perfectly with lunch. The service was friendly and attentive throughout our meal, making for an enjoyable dining experience. Heck is happening with restaurants? Anyway, the Soya, a grilled shaved beef on kabobs dish from Nigeria with a spicy peanut dipping sauce was disappointing. The Colorado presentation was chunks of grilled tough top round with a horseradish sauce presented on a bed of arugula and bird's eye peppers. Is alright, but lose the pretentious name. Lightly creamy, not salty, and packed with chicken and veggies. Portions are perfect and our meals arrived timely. Great open seating perfect for couples, families or friends to gather. It was a Tuesday during May Mud season. They should be grateful for the business. There were 18-20 of us gathering for happy hour. We wanted to be on the patio due to the crowd and noise and were told we couldn't. The one table sat 10 but everybody had to stand around blocking isles to talk. Took forever for him to take drink orders the first time. After that we had to go to the bar if we wanted another. Consequently many didn't. More of us would've ordered food if he'd just asked. You'd think he'd be more attentive to the larger group who were buying more and possibly order more but he was more attentive to a few at the bar and we were left on our own if we wanted anything to go to him. Stopped in for dinner last night and had a really nice time. The vibes were super chill, and the service was great--our server was very friendly and easy to talk to. I ordered the BLT with grilled chicken and swapped the chips for a Caesar salad. The chicken was a little on the dry side, but the seasoning was actually really good so it still had plenty of flavor. Ok we were blown away by organic Rocky Mountain soda-we each had one! Root beer and ginger ale. The elk sliders are a must try very flavorful. We also rocked the bacon wrapped dates which were incredible. We washed that all down with a fresh baked cookie topped with ice cream and a super delicious and creamy crème brûlée. We came for happy hour on a Friday between 3-5, and I'm so glad we did! Half price appetizers and a few dollars off cocktails. We had three of the appetizers- our favorites were the pizzeta and the burrata. The pizzeta was excellent, with a sweet date jams that was a nice counterbalance to the goat cheese and arugula. The burrata had a similar sweet and savory balance, and the mozzarella was a nice texture. We didn't care for the bao buns- the pork was a little too crispy and the bun itself a little tough. We tried a number of cocktails, our favorites were the Just keep swimming (fun coconut flavor with a mini rubber duck in it) and the Pura Alegria margarita, which was like an almond margarita. The black cherry smash was good as well. Our server Averi was very sweet and made great recommendations! I was impressed with her knowledge of all the menu items. The sandwich was alright-- it was tasty, but a little bit dry even with the cream cheese. I wish it had. A little more cream cheese, and maybe some syrup on the side to dip into. The cinnamon roll was really good! I brought it home and reheated it, and the icing was really tasty, the roll itself was soft, and the cinnamon filling was really good. The pancake was amazing!! It was so delicious and sweet with the salty bacon on top and a deeper flavor from the brown butter, and the texture was cake-like but bouncy. It was delicious. Service was great, super fast and thoughtful and the restaurant itself was very nice! They had a bar in the middle of the room and TV's to watch, and a selection of booths and tables. read more

First time here...and last! Our appetizer came out before our drinks. Our kids were given their meals, and as we sat and watched our children eat we were never informed as to why we weren't getting our food. You go out to eat to eat TOGETHER! Our kids were done, and we weee finally told that their system malfunctioned. Still no drinks. I finally asked the manager to cancel everything and I simply wanted to pay for the kids meals! $85!!!! For 3 kids to eat! And they happily charged me for the drinks that finally came out right as we were walking out the door. I want my money back. Their drink menu consists of an extensive Colorado whiskey list, wine list / beer on draft, a wide variety of handcrafted cocktails, as well as Mini Bloody Mary flights, and a few mimosa options. They have Bottomless (OJ) mimosas on Saturdays as well! For drinks, we got two mini Bloody Mary flights and the blackberry mimosa. Our favorite Bloody Mary's were the original and the bourbon - yum! For brunch, we ordered the (basic) mountain breakfast and the veggie hash (one with corned beef and one with bacon). The mountain breakfast was alright (nothing special) but the veggie hash was pretty good and filled with bell peppers, onions, brussel sprouts, and potatoes. They do source a lot of their food options locally which is always an added bonus! The service was mediocre, and at times our server seemed a bit annoyed even though the place was not packed at all. The food was pretty good, but nothing overly spectacular. The salmon was prepared well and the apps were a nice start, but one of the dips did come with ritz crackers which felt a bit too casual. The atmosphere is pleasant, with a casual and contemporary vibe, and a nice central bar. Unfortunately, both of us were disappointed with our dishes. My Black &Blue burger came without any sauce, making it rather dry. It's a shame because with bacon, blue cheese, caramelized onions, it had the potential to be delicious. When I asked about it, our waitress said it's served that way. I had to ask for ketchup to make it a little more palatable. The burgers come with a small portion of disappointingly bland house-made chips. My husband was not any more lucky with his flavorless Pork Belly Fried Rice, although it looked appealing. On a Sunday evening, the place was not busy, but our waitress seemed stretched thin between a table at the front of the restaurant and us, seated in the back. We had to get the attention of another staff member to get our drinks, which were seating on the bar, before our food ran out. The missing stars are about the seasoning on my meat, potatoes and roasted corn. Service was excellent. My wife and I both had the Elk medallions. The meat was perfectly cooked to the temperatures we requested, but it was slathered in a strange brown sauce with an unpleasant taste. It was served on top of the roasted corn, so the corn was drowning in the sauce, too. My wife scraped the sauce off her meat and said that helped. The potatoes were a little charred and also seemed to have the same unpleasant flavor we noticed in the sauce. I don't remember any unusual spice being mentioned in the menu description. The only other negative about the restaurant was the unavailability of low tables and chairs. We were told there was a wedding party tonight and they had commandeered all the low tables. Everyone else at our table was pleased with their meal. I feel bad posting a negative review, but my meal was ruined. By the way, they surcharged our check about 3% because we used a credit card. We came here because a few guys in the group were craving like a steak after a day of snowboarding. We got the Brussel sprouts and cornbread w/ cinnamon butter (interesting combo but it worked well together) for appetizers. Half the group got elk tenderloin (yummy, tender & well seasoned) & the other half got the short rib (the sweet potatoes shown below seemed a little undercooked but the short rib itself was moist and the portion was huge). Then my brother got the salmon which was a little dry.
