I have been to this spot many many times. Usually I am on the roof top, but this time it was cold so my husband and I ate at the bar. We were greeted by the bartender and ordered some drinks. He gave us good recommendations on types of beer we liked since everything was local. We ordered some food , I got the half Rueben and tortilla soup. OMG I was not expecting it to be as delicious as it was. My soup was absolutely what I wanted, with beans and chips and sour cream. It was vegetarian soup which didn't bother me one bit. The four of us enjoyed a half circle booth close to the door. We ordered a bottle of wine and the boys had a craft beer. For appetizers we ordered the wings plain with buffalo sauce on the side and a arugula strawberry salad. Both were delicious as well as the garlic bread they brought us. We stopped by here for lunch on our way down from Leadville. This place has the nicest ambiance and very beautiful artwork. The service was very slow but everyone finally got their food and their drink refills. We had a large group and everyone found something on the menu to their liking. My husband and I split the Southwestern chicken egg rolls and they were served piping hot and were packed with flavor. For my entree, I had the grilled cheese with French onion soup and it was perfect for lunch on a bright brisk autumn day. My husband had the pepperoni pizza and said it was very good. I would love to come back for dinner sometime and walk more of Main Street Frisco. Was in town recently and had dinner here 3 times. Everything was really good. The food quality, portions and service. Menu has a lot of variety and what I'd call an upscale tavern menu. Salads are great, specials are worth trying, saw the folks next to me eating burgers, wings and pot pie that looked great. Drinks are good. There are TVs if you want to watch sports and several different seating areas to choose from. I was in town on a snow trip and wanted solid portions of healthy food and this fit the bill. We got both the Power Salad (big!) and the Beet salad which were very good. They had a picatta trout special that I ordered with asparagus which was awesome as well. Ahi tuna appetizer was also good. Prices are what you'd expect for a tourist town. About 20% higher than they should be, but it goes with the location. Hope you try it out. It's great. read more

What a disappointment!! Service was horrible!! You have to get your own water, OK I can handle that, though I shouldn't have to do that. It took a while for someone to come over, we ordered drinks and guacamole and chips. It took a while for them to come out and when they did,my friend asked if they had salsa, the waitress replied "we aren't a Mexican restaurant " no you're not but you have several items like tacos that might require some type of salsa. My friend said she'd like to place her order before happy hour ended and our waitress just walked away we waited and waited but she never returned. This is your typical American fare place with all the options. I appreciate the options as we had been debating about greco's, but wanted something besides Italian on the menu. We shared the beef nachos for a group of 6 and they were more than big enough to share. We got the barbecue pizza, bison and beef burgers, pot pie and linguini for the kid. It offers limited seating (better for smaller groups unless you put together available tables), and lots of stairs (you can use an elevator located towards the back of the restaurant). Came in for lunch on a sunny Sunday. We headed up straight to the rooftop and had the whole roof to ourselves (for at least the first 20 mins). The view is unmatched! There are tons of tables and a bar, cornhole, and views on views on views. The bartender was very friendly and quick to make our drinks and place our food orders. I had the half and half - half reuben and half power salad. Both the salad and sandwich were unimproveable. The rye bread was toasted perfectly, there was a stack of corned beef, sauerkraut, cheese, and just enough thousand island. The salad had every topping I would dream of in a salad and the perfect amount of dressing. I paired the meal with an aperol spritz and was not disappointed. We first waited for twenty minutes for anyone to come to the front and we could not flag anyone down. We would've left but at a certain point it was like a sunk cost and we had to see it through. Weirdly there were a lot of people bussing tables? It was NOT busy and it was not near closing when we were there. The front of house person had a terrible attitude and I never say this. It was like it was like our presence was bothering her. We got a full dinner salad because of a screwup; and it was excellent. Great tomatoes and a solid salad mix. The blue cheese dressing was bland, but the balsamic was quite good. Huge portion. The appetizer came with the dinner...terrible communication with the kitchen, which is a theme. So the dishes got cold as we tried to scramble through them. The mussels were excellent, the vegetables and bacon were crucial to the sauce and they clearly know what they are doing. The dipping bread was excellent as well, which is unusual. Now for the less good: Our greeter was exactly as others have said- diffident to bad. The only open table on the deck was dirty and we didn't get service or cleaning for some time, while a woman server went past to other tables. Our eventual server seemed disinterested. The star of the show was Elliot. He made up for the confusion and timing once he saw what was going on. Sadly, nothing to write home about. Appetizers, the oysters were tasty. Things were lucky the crispy-crunch that's expected with a good chicken wing. Husband and I shared a large Caesar Salad and the Short Rib pappardelle. Unfortunately the pasta didn't have much flavor and the short rib pieces were very minimal. The Caesar salad was also just okay, if anything, it could have used more dressing. Service was great. Britney provided great customer service. Checked in on our party of 13+ just enough to make sure we had everything we needed. The restaurant itself it super cute. They have different dining rooms as well as a cool rooftop that overlooks downtown. While nothing was super memorable, our experience was still good. read more

Second visit & we brought friends. There was a small crowd waiting at the door for a hostess (if she can be called that) that rarely came to the supposed hostess stand. She was SO inattentive that we were all deciding to leave. But before we did, I ran upstairs and realized you could be your own friendly hostess upstairs on the rooftop (which is why we'd returned anyway). Anthony, the rooftop bartender, made all the difference in the world. He was friendly, accommodating, funny, caring, respectful, & went the extra mile to insure we had a great time. I absolutely LOVE places with bright interiors and tasteful decor and this one hit on all items! We weren't in the mood for anything complicated or fancy so we ordered a pizza and salad. OH MY GOODNESS!! Just those two simple items were made to amazing quality and taste. We came in and thought the place was cute and charming the host was texting and she barely said 2 words we sat outside I poured my own water then when we ordered everything was good until a server alvicher told me he was going to close the doors that's fine but he didn't give me time to move so I got hit then I finally sit down he hits me again with the door after I say something he caught an attitude and kept ignoring us. we waited 15 minutes for to go boxes until I asked a different server. The bus boy bless him was so sweet and helpful while our server slammed things down on the table and deliberately ignored us over and over. My burger was burnt, we didn't even finish out meal. For how expensive this place was, we where treated very badly there was a tall mid 40-50 year old server that was very inpatient with our party. When we where leaving he gave us boxes to go but took our food when we where getting ready to leave, then one of us didn't tip him because of the service and came out the resturant and started screaming at us because of the no tip and took the food back that WE paid for. They have a nice wide variety of items on the menu. We went with southwest egg rolls. Three rolls was good for two people. They're super good and the dipping sauces are so flavorful! I ordered the rice bowl with tofu. I split it with my sister and it was plenty for both of us. We told them we were sharing and they were kind enough to separate it for us!
