He gives good washes to...big, strong hands..not for the timid. His daughter also does hair there, however I've never seen her doing anyone's hair but her own. She's seems kinda aloof and not very friendly. She did my hair once and it was okay but her attitude was not pleasant at all. Nicole, is another stylist there. Probably the only one with the most clients. She's a good stylist and I've been to her several times. She loves cutting on your hair and that's why I choose not to go back. She also has 3 clients come in at the same time. What's the point of having an appointment if you schedule everyone at the same time. I hate that because my time is very important. I'm always there for 3+ hours for a wash/flat iron. I give this place 3 stars because my hair has been satisfactory...nothing to brag about..customer service lacks. Mr. T is great...he should hire stylist that make his business run more smoothly. If your looking for mediocre and nothing special and don't mind waiting...this is the place for you.

I was a few minutes late but was in and out before 12:10 pm. Everyone was friendly. I was shampooed, conditioned, and wet wrap set before 11 am. Mr. T hooked me up with a nice trim and style. I have short hair cut in a bob. I didn't want anyone too scissor happy in my head. I like to get tge back faded out. The prices aren't outrageous. I was able to pay via credit card. I believe he's going to be my stylist. I made another appointment for next Saturday. They get their clients in and out with great service. They offer a variety of services (locks, texturizers, color, & eye brow arching). I highly recommend them.

While I was in the shopping center today, I came outside to find a vehicle parked extremely close to mine, leaving very little room for me to safely access my car and remove it from the parking space. The salon was politely asked if the vehicle could simply be moved or repositioned. Unfortunately, the response was dismissive and far less courteous than I would expect from anyone representing a business. There was no reason for such a simple and respectful request to turn into an uncomfortable interaction. The situation could have been handled calmly and resolved in less than two minutes. What made it even more disappointing was that this took place in front of paying customers. When you represent a business, the way you communicate with people matters just as much as the service you provide. The car was ultimately never moved. This was a small Kia, and repositioning it would have taken very little effort and immediately resolved the issue. Instead, a very simple situation became unnecessarily difficult. Nobody was asking for special treatment. The request was simply for enough space to safely access my vehicle and remove it from the parking space without risking damage to either car. When you operate a business in a shared shopping center, everyone you encounter should be treated with the same basic level of respect and professionalism, regardless of whether they are currently a paying customer. Anyone in that shopping center could be a future customer, referral, or supporter of your business. Whoever owns or manages this business should consider providing additional customer-service training to the staff, particularly around communication and handling minor situations professionally. Basic courtesy and respectful communication can go a long way and can easily prevent situations like this from becoming negative experiences. A two-minute act of courtesy could have prevented this entire situation. Professionalism is not only about how you treat someone while they are sitting in your chair,it is also reflected in how you treat people in everyday interactions. Based on my experience today, I hope this is something the business chooses to improve moving forward.

I was anxious to try a blowout to see how much my hair had grown. Jeff came to North Carolina and told his family the things he was doing to natural hair in Georgia. We were anxious to see just what these steam treatments would do for your hair. Jeff came down and we had the chance to experience a blowout with moisture/steam treatment. If I would not have seen it for myself I would not have believed it. Everyone of us went in wearing an afro and came out with soft flowing locks full of volume and body. It has been a month and a half and Jeff has done three treatments on my hair. Each time yields a better result and Jeff says it's only going to get better. I usually don't get my hair braided professionally unless I'm traveling (I don't like to do my hair abroad-lack of African hair supplies in European taught me a hard lesson), so I got a fresh set before I went to Egypt. They were easy to wash and maintain even after Atv riding in the desert. I usually get the smaller braids because I can style them definitely depending on my mood. After I had to find a new stylist, I panicked, I had to find someone that would listen to my opinion know what styles, colors, and cuts I like and add their input. I want to be able to trust my stylist to give me what I want, but also add in their expertise when giving me updated looks. A friend recommended Ryan Rumpel. I took a chance and I am so happy I did. Ryan is in a small salon in Buckhead. The location is great! Ryan told me it might be difficult to find, so he gave me detailed directions. My "directionally challenged" self actually found it the fist time. NICE! I walked up the staircase into a small but charming salon. Ryan was still with a client but greeted me immediately and asked me to have a seat and relax while I waited. Ryan was finished with his other client within 5 minutes, which was exactly on time for my set appointment. Ryan immediately sat down and started asking me what I was looking for in a cut and color. I showed him several pictures of hair styles and colors I liked, but told him I wanted to be able to give him the trust to pick the best option for my face structure & skin tone. Ryan listened to everything I told him about what I knew I liked and didn't like when it came to hair styles. He was detailed and made me aware of all costs so that I was able to know what I was going to get and not have "sticker shock". I let Ryan take the lead with choosing my color and I am so happy I did. My cut and color came are perfect!!! I am so happy Ryan was recommended to me. I am now his faithful client. Just a few extra notes I think are great... Not that the big salons aren't great, but I love the attention I get from a small salon with a few stylists.
