In a nutshell: Dry cleaning services are not up to par with high-end garment handling. THE GOOD When is that time of the year to take fall and winter clothing to the laundry, because there are too many delicate/special care items you approach different cleaners to get a quote. From the different 5-star cleaners nearby I requested quotes from, were fast to respond and able to service my items within the same day of the quote. Because they are "eco" cleaners expect to pay above average for the same servicing at comparable establishments. THE BAD From all the garments I've got serviced, pressing could have been better because men's pants edges are what gives them elegance. Light color garments such as my sportswear were not immaculate, they were not able to fully remove soil stains. Mind you, my garments did not have wine, earth, grass, or any impossible stain to deal with, overall it was a mediocre job with most of the pieces. When I was picking up part of my order, not all were ready within their estimated time frame. The manager had someone complaining over the phone, and even though I am aware any business can have difficult or unreasonable clients. Things didn't click until I got to my place and inspected the garments on closer inspection. THE WORST I have a Super Puff coat (pictured) that, because of the fabric and color, I called beforehand and even sent them a picture of the coat to make sure they had experience cleaning this type of fabric while preserving the puffiness of the piece because otherwise, it would flatten out. Sure, yes, no problem. When I dropped my garments I even reiterated to the manager for them to be sincere and tell me if they had or had not experienced servicing this type of coat... When I went to collect it, not only it came back flat as a paper sheet, they couldn't restore the coat to its original color bear in mind I bought it in January. As I complained to the lady, the manager just nodded and said they'll take care it of and that he will call me. He never did, after calling twice found the jacket was "serviced". I go pick it up and they somewhat made it puffy again but as you can see, they were not able to do 5 stars job. If you compare the buttons to the fabric, you can really tell the difference. At that moment I understood that was the best I was going to get out of them so I paid and left. read more

I also drop off my laundry and dry clean here, they always do a fantastic job and quick! I've had dry clean jackets that have a big fur and it came back phenomenal and like brand new! I went here to get a dress taken in and hemmed. They did an amazing job and really helped me fit into a dress I needed for a wedding. The hemming was perfect. They were super attentive on length and marking non permanently so that they could hem and take in the right amount. My dress was three-layers so she took in all three layers and it looked amazing. Stitching was impeccable and looks so professional. The hem was the perfect length. Tip is to bring the shoes you plan on wearing so that they can measure and make sure it will work perfectly. For me, I wanted the dress to be just long enough to cover most of my heels so it wasn't awkwardly short but I didn't want it too long that it would drag. They helped perfect this dress and made it for ME. Very happy with the results and the pricing is pretty fair considering the challenge of the project. read more

I have been sending my pieces here for sometime and had been pleased with the results, however they ruined an $800 pair of trousers and I had to wait months for some kind of acknowledgement, and they awarded me a $40 credit (on an unwearable ruined $800 pair of trousers). They attempted to fix the trousers by over-steaming and stretching/blocking them, ruining them more and more each time (which I communicated to them repeatedly). read more

This place is the best! It's the only one in the area that don't use harsh chemicals to clean your clothes. I have a skin condition so everything irritates my skin but once I switched to this place, irritation is gone! Customer service is also excellent! Jason is helpful and knowledgeable to guide you in the right direction. I had 2 items tailored here and one was done fairly well but the other wasn't great. I had a dress shortened for $20 and the stitching was very visible (not straight either). Would have been better stitched on the black line of the dress and now it looks a bit ugly. read more

Dishonest and incompetent. Always be careful with the receipt you receive, they charged my credit card without my authorization. The quality of the alteration work is also pretty bad -see attached proof. I came here feeling excited to try their service in the neighborhood and left extremely disappointed not by just the service but also the way they conducted business. I was quoted and charged for certain amount and when I received my dress (which came late btw), they charged me double the amount which I never agreed to. I tried to resolve the issue and the owner just yelled on the phone, it was very disrespectful and unprofessional. All in all, save yourself a hassle and go to other eco laundry cleaners. I wouldn't recommend anyone to use their service. read more

I did not properly explain that I needed my shirts 'rushed,' and the owner personally went out of his way to get my shirts for me, as I had to leave for a flight before opening the next day. Do not bring high end-material to this dry cleaner!!! I brought my tuxedo and a nice pair of slacks and when I came to pick them up the tuxedo was ripped at the inseam all across the bottom and they stained my khaki pants. I asked them to try to fix it and they said they would do it for free, but when I returned to pick it up a few days later I was told they had not fixed the inseam and instead had dry cleaned it again. You're not supposed to dry clean tuxes very often and I had my dry cleaned twice within a week because of their incompetence. Do not take your clothes here. read more

The best cleaners i've been to in the area. They always do a great job with stains and whatever mess i bring to them. I had just bought a white shirt the other day and my nephew decided he wanted to color it with a marker. At first i figured it was over and i had to throw it out but i brought it to the cleaners to see what they could do. Jason said he couldn't make any guarantees which i understood. I'm very picky with dry cleaners and will go out of my way to get to a good one. I made my way to Eco Highline with a bridesmaid dress that needed to be altered, pants that needed to be sewed and a very embarrassing sweat stain on my favorite sweater. They took care of each one and made sure to let me know if there was any issues (my sweater was technically a two piece that was sewn together - the seamstress let me know how she would have to take it apart and back to get the stain out). I felt confident in leaving my clothes there, and was more than happy when I picked it up. I own a dress shirt that's my go-to when it comes to weddings and other fancy functions. Since the last wedding I went to (last September) the shirt has been a crumpled pile of cloth in the corner of my closet. Left for dead. By the time I dug it out this year (April), the collar was so yellow it was brown and the entire shirt has lost its crisp shape. It looked more like wet tissue paper than an expensive shirt. Good thing the owner at eco highline owns a time machine in the back of the shop. I gave him the shirt in hopes that it can be salvaged, but instead the owner returned a almost brand new shirt. The shirt came back so white it may or may not have emitted a blue glow. The shirt regained its shape with a crisp collar and sleeve cuffs. Had a suit (with a very light pasta sauce stain on the pants) dry cleaned here. Friendly staff and all, but they didn't bother with the stain even though I called their attention to it when I dropped it off. If I hadn't audited their work at the time of pick up, they would have just taken my money and sent me on my way. They agreed to keep the pants and actually take care of the stain, which was the only reason I brought it to them in the first place - but their negligence was a bit of inconvenience on my part which they didn't seem to care about. So my advice is, if you have to go here - be sure to check your clothes at the desk BEFORE you pay and make sure the work is actually done. read more

I had been looking for a new dry cleaners in this area after trying a few other places. Eco Highline Cleaners was recommended by a friend and I have been coming here ever since. The service here has been exceptional and they do a great job of both tailoring and dry cleaning. Everything is returned perfectly pressed and smelling fresh instead of smelling like chemicals. They have been able to get out some of the most impossible stains along with the usual stains on the collars and cuffs. The place is fairly new.. my gf has been going to them since they opened.. the quality is pretty good compared to other places i have been to. Good customer service and fast turn around. Pretty convenient since the place is on the way to my train so i just drop it off before going to work. I personally have not had any problems. To be honest, Its really hard to find a good organic dry cleaner since some in the area are ridiculously expensive and the quality is just whatever but this place is pretty damn good. They have been doing this 50% off promo since they opened.. its kind of a steal in my opinion.
