Broken nail after less than a week. I went in with a broken index ring fingernail they were too lazy to fix it they just glued it.

I have given them two chances. The first time, I made a phone appointment , I had never been there before and it was raining out. I parked my car and I walked around the building in the pouring rain, in sandals ,because I didn't know where the salon was. There was a man smoking a cigarette outside. It turns out that the nail salon was where he was working, he did not say hello or anything or try to help me find the salon even though I had an appointment and he could see me walking around in the rain.. I was the only customer in the salon. He did an okay job on my nails-a full set, GELX , but he rough with me and rushed even though I was the only one in the salon . I also got a pedicure that was good. However, one hand of my GEL X nails was longer than the other and pointed it out to him before I left. He said, " when you come back I will fix it ": I tipped them both, $15 . I waited an entire month for my nails to grow out so that they could even them off next time I went i ln. Today, I went in again after a month, I made a phone appointment. I got a gel X fill, I asked him if I could get French manicure and he said no , I also explained to him that I grew out my nails because one side was longer and if I could keep the longer nails instead of cutting them short. I guess he didn't understand. . While I was getting a pedicure instead of doing my nails at the same time, even though I had made an appointment days before, he took someone that walked in instead of me, so when he finally got to my nails he was in a rush and did them in a hurry again and instead of keeping my request of keeping the length he cut them down short , he was also on his phone the whole time speaking in his language. . I tipped them $10 each, the male technician did not thank you or goodbye when I left I guess he was insulted with the low tip. Well, if you're not going to listen to me and you're going to Rush even though I made an appointment and treat me like crap I'm not going tip you more than $10, with his attitude he's lucky that he even got a tip. The male nail technician is mean, he doesn't listen, refuses requests, when there is a nail salon on every corner it is not worth it and he obviously doesn't care about retaining clientele.

Both Boy and Eden took great care of me today when I came in for an acrylic manicure and gel pedicure. Their service was professional and their art is on point. I would definitely come back for some other nail art in the future. Eden gave the best foot massage ever, I had to thank him for that. The environment itself was clean and feels new. Thanks guys!

I'd give this place a solid 3.5 stars, rounding up to four. There are some definite pros and a few areas that could use improvement. First off, they were very accommodating--I called ahead, and they told me to come in right away, which was great. When I arrived, they were ready to assist me immediately. The manicure and pedicure were done gently--no cuts or discomfort--and the leg and foot massage was especially good. Whoever handled that did a great job! However, the hand massage was very brief, less than 30 seconds per arm, so that was underwhelming. Pricing seemed reasonable compared to other places: $60 for the manicure (with a 15% birthday discount; normally $70) and $45 for the pedicure, which included a scrub, mask, and massage. I appreciated the extra touches on the pedicure. The atmosphere was more businesslike than friendly. There wasn't much conversation, which is fine if you're just looking for efficient service, but it's worth noting. On the plus side, there's parking available, which is always a bonus. Overall, it's worth a try for the convenience and reasonable prices.

I've been to this nail salon three times now and each time has been a great experience. On my most recent visit, I got a full set with Cat-eye polish and honestly, this is the most beautiful set of nails I've ever had! Eden is more than a nail tech, he's dedicated to the artistry of his craft! He took his time, ensured that all the nails were filed into the perfect almond shape and checked in with me throughout the appointment to ensure that I was happy with the shape, length and color of the nails. I will definitely be returning in the future.

I was able to do same day walk in and it was a great experience! Boy was my nail artist and did a beautiful job on my manicure. He took his time and my nails came out perfect Amy did my pedicure and she also did a great job. 10/10 would definitely come back again

Overall, I'm satisfied with what I got. I got seated right away, which was amazing. I got a pedicure with gel ($45) and a manicure with builder gel and simple design ($70). I really liked the pedicure. It was relaxing and clean. My manicure was good too. I felt like my nail tech was rushed because he had another client waiting and it reflected in mine and my cousin's manicure. Mine wasn't as clean as I liked it to be but still I am happy with how it looks. My cousin felt more disappointed. The nail tech didn't take her requests into consideration because of the time constraint which was unfortunate. It felt like he was just trying to do it as fast as he could so he can help the next person.

I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately, my manicure didn't last. Within just a couple of days, my nails started chipping, which is really disappointing. I was expecting better quality and longer-lasting results. I will never be coming back. The lady also was ungrateful and didn't thank me after I paid her tips. Response to owner: If the nails are done well; it shouldn't chip at all. The shape and size and length of the nails were uneven. She also made me bleed... I NEVER heard her say thank you. I tipped 15% and she was quiet as I walked out of the door which ticked me off. The quality was very poor. Please don't make excuses. My thumb nail was the nail that chipped early. I can provide the picture as evidence. I never do extensive labor so I am very careful. It chipped because she didn't spend enough time on the LED cure. I placed my hand for 5 seconds and she already told me take it out. I have done my nails a lot at other places and know what top quality truly is.

Just left Eco Nails Spa, and had to write this review ASAP! Eden/Aiden (not sure if this is correct spelling) did my nails, and he was very detailed and thorough. Didn't rush when shaping, and this is probably the best oval/almond nails I've ever gotten. Will definitely come back to get my nails done!

I just came from Eco and wanted to leave a review about my amazing service. I actually had a nail appointment for Tiffany's Nail Lounge however I accidentally scheduled it for July 24th instead of July 17th. So I begun searching for a new nail salon that was nearby an Eco Nails popped up I called and one of the guys answered the phone and told me I could come in for a full set. The service was absolutely amazing, I got my old acrylic set taken off, received a new acrylic set and I got a gel pedicure. I did not have an appointment however I was able to be seen the same day. The guy who did my nails name was Boy. He asked me if I had a picture of the nails that I wanted, I showed him and I explained additional details. He said I will have your nails looking nice. And he told no lies. I absolutely love my nails it's exactly what I asked for I wanted my nails to have a flat top, narrow yet sqaure (no duck nails) and to be short with a French tip. And he did everything to the T.He works very fast and intentional. The guy who did my feet I completely forgot to get his name but he did everything except for the French tip. He took really good care of my feet he gave me a great massage he was very detailed in cleaning my toes, he even brought out the old school toebrush, which is a service I no longer see nail salons use anymore. So I was very happy when I saw that shop still uses the toebrush. I attached a video for you all to see what that is. I will definitely come back to this nail shop again and I highly recommend 10 out of 10.

I was excited to try a new nail spot and seen the nails they had done on reviews so I was excited I called and asked how much for pedicure and full set he told me the price and I told him I could be there at 12 and he said if your in town you can come in now 11 so I already felt rushed. I got there at 11:12 and I'm so use to feeling so welcomed and nice friendly people but this time it was quiet straight to the point I wanted full set of nails instead I got a dip powder which my thumb nail looks like alittle powder and my small pinky toe has a cut that literally hurts she pulled to hard idk. and when it was time to pay the the guy said $80 and you gonna add tip kind of came out like you need to which I was gonna tip but what if someone doesn't want to tip because of the service. HONESTLY , Im really the pickiest person when it comes to nail shops . I just got off work at 5pm & they were literally across the street . The GRAND OPENING SIGN is what CAUGHT my eye . The service was GREAT !! I will definitely be coming back . Also since they just opened they are offering 20% off services at the moment , they are very nice and understanding. 5 STARS! I have been going to Mary for almost 20 years for everything beauty! I have followed her from Hayward to her new location in San Leandro and will follow her again if she ever moves. She is wonderful and extremely talented. You can imagine over 20 years my hairstyle has changed from curly to straight to long and now to short, including colors and highlights. Mary always finds the perfect color and look that I ask for. She is always available to fit my busy schedule. The new salon in San Leandro is clean and I love the beautiful orchids she displays! I have also taken my daughter here since she was 5 years old and now as an adult, whenever she visits me she always asks if we can swing by Serena's and have Mary cut her hair! 5 STARS ALL THE WAY!!! read more

I've been waiting for this place to open because it's so close to home and they were sure worth the time spent not going elsewhere. Their prices are extremely affordable and the services are amazing! I went with light highlights for my first time ever and got so many compliments. Then I went dark with plum highlights and I feel so beautiful. Their work has me feeling some type of way!! Plus it was so inexpensive!! I budgeted a couple hundred for each based on other people's experiences elsewhere and didn't even come close to that. This is the only place I will go now. read more

Mary is the best! She gave me a great color & highlights while the other woman did my fingernails! No wasted time. Received a wonderful haircut and style, then relaxed in one of their comfy massage chairs for my pedicure. Both ladies did terrific jobs. No mistakes! And the prices are reasonable. Like Mary's products, all high end. And she can get the orange out of my hair when bleaching for hilites! Not easy on my hair. Mary will do her best to squeeze you in when something comes up at the last minute. And tell you up front that her clients with appointments come first. Love this place! read more

Tammy is amazing at pedicures! Got a regular pedicure for $20. She thoroughly cleaned my cuticles, scrubbed my feet, massaged them, and did an amazing job at (white) polish. She spent a lot of time on me, without any rush, and the massage chairs at this salon are also super comfy. Would definitely recommend coming to this spot, and to Tammy, for your next pedi! read more

I like that I can get my nails and hair dyed at the same time. It is not usually busy. Tami and Mary work on Saturdays. Mary by appointment on Sundays. I wish there was better food next door for when I have to wait but the 8-twelve at this location always seems to be closed. read more

And she did a great job and I been going there since and I like that she is open seven days a week. If you are in the area give her a call and tell her Jeanette send you over. This is my go-to nail shop! Everyone that works here is super sweet. They do everything: waxing, full hair services, nails, facials, and more. Everyone is so meticulous while doing nails. Tammy also does great hour long facials, where she uses a natural skin care line. You get a massage on your neck, shoulders, upper back, arms, hands, and your face during the facial. Their prices are quite reasonable. A mani/pedi combo is $32. Walk-ins are welcome but Tammy will need a couple days notice for a facial. read more

I come here once a month to get my hair cut and I love it. I use too have a barber in San Lorenzo that I went to for years, but after meeting Mary I realized that she is much better. I have been going to see Mary at this salon since she opened. I followed her here from a salon in the hayward hills where she used to work. Mary is always accommodating and is the best in the business of hair, nails and other services that she offers. Not only Mary but her staff is super friendly, hence why she has repeated customers. Her prices are more than reasonable but what I like about this salon is that all the staff is professional and good at what they do. Seriously this is the best Salon in the Bay Area. The facility is brand new with everything state of the art. I come here every 3 weeks for hair, nails and whatever Mary thinks is needed. Mary has done my hair for four years and I am grateful to have finally found someone with her expertise. I always look forward to having 'me' time and this is always true here. Very relaxing atmosphere and I feel pampered the entire time I am here. I love this place. Feels like family. read more

the workers here are very nice and welcoming, they knew us by name when we walked in. they have a vast variety of polishes to choose from, and most are OPI so props for that. they're never super busy and they actually take your time on your nails. Mary and Tammy are very kind and make sure you love your nails before you leave. the place is really clean and fresh, and they have a large tv to watch while you get your nails done. i'll always come back!!! super amazing job! read more

Serena's Beauty Salon has got to be THE best hair salon I've ever been to in any of the major cities I've lived in. They give a thorough consultation and take a real detailed and somewhat scientific interest in your hair. The prices are so reasonable that I'm able to get my hair done a few times each month! I would of given it 0 stars! Worse place EVER ! I literally went in for a fullset and pedi. My nails were all different shapes and sizes. After repeatedly having to point it out she still didn't bother to fix it And no lie the very next day 2 of my nails broke & on the 3rd day the rest of them started lifting I've never had this happen to me before. $65 down the drain read more

This is so unfortunate, because I've came here before and I always had a good experience. So I went yesterday for a color, cut and hair mask. In total it was 80 great! Was happy and I felt so good I gave her a 20 dollar tip on my card, so 100 total. When I checked my bank statement she charged me an extra 20. That's illegal and that's just so invasive. I was super nice to her and for her to do that to me and charge me without my permission. So in total it was 120... I'm a little angry and I will talk to my bank and I'll see what other options I have. this is disappointing because I was nice enough to give her a good tip and for her to do this, not okay at all. I left my manicure today with bleeding and angry cuticles*…read more I walked in with no hangnails or anything, truly perfect untouched nail beds and clean nails, and left with bloody and aching fingers. I don't get manicures regularly so I didn't realize the man doing my nails was butchering them until it was too late. Basically, he used the machine for gel removal/nail buffing to completely annihilate my nails and cuticles; instead of using cuticle softener or soaking my hands in warm water, he went straight in with the machine and essentially drilled everything off. The surface of all of my nails is now ruined, and I have cut up cuticles that are bleeding and aching. I went home and put Neosporin and band-aids on all of my fingers. I can't stress enough that none of these fingers had hangnails or anything that would warrant roughness/leave them this red and bloody. Multiple staff members saw the blood and did not offer any kind of discount - they did put some rubbing alcohol on two of the fingers, but it didn't feel like enough to mitigate infection risk.
