Broken nail after less than a week. I went in with a broken index ring fingernail they were too lazy to fix it they just glued it.

I have given them two chances. The first time, I made a phone appointment , I had never been there before and it was raining out. I parked my car and I walked around the building in the pouring rain, in sandals ,because I didn't know where the salon was. There was a man smoking a cigarette outside. It turns out that the nail salon was where he was working, he did not say hello or anything or try to help me find the salon even though I had an appointment and he could see me walking around in the rain.. I was the only customer in the salon. He did an okay job on my nails-a full set, GELX , but he rough with me and rushed even though I was the only one in the salon . I also got a pedicure that was good. However, one hand of my GEL X nails was longer than the other and pointed it out to him before I left. He said, " when you come back I will fix it ": I tipped them both, $15 . I waited an entire month for my nails to grow out so that they could even them off next time I went i ln. Today, I went in again after a month, I made a phone appointment. I got a gel X fill, I asked him if I could get French manicure and he said no , I also explained to him that I grew out my nails because one side was longer and if I could keep the longer nails instead of cutting them short. I guess he didn't understand. . While I was getting a pedicure instead of doing my nails at the same time, even though I had made an appointment days before, he took someone that walked in instead of me, so when he finally got to my nails he was in a rush and did them in a hurry again and instead of keeping my request of keeping the length he cut them down short , he was also on his phone the whole time speaking in his language. . I tipped them $10 each, the male technician did not thank you or goodbye when I left I guess he was insulted with the low tip. Well, if you're not going to listen to me and you're going to Rush even though I made an appointment and treat me like crap I'm not going tip you more than $10, with his attitude he's lucky that he even got a tip. The male nail technician is mean, he doesn't listen, refuses requests, when there is a nail salon on every corner it is not worth it and he obviously doesn't care about retaining clientele.

Both Boy and Eden took great care of me today when I came in for an acrylic manicure and gel pedicure. Their service was professional and their art is on point. I would definitely come back for some other nail art in the future. Eden gave the best foot massage ever, I had to thank him for that. The environment itself was clean and feels new. Thanks guys!

I'd give this place a solid 3.5 stars, rounding up to four. There are some definite pros and a few areas that could use improvement. First off, they were very accommodating--I called ahead, and they told me to come in right away, which was great. When I arrived, they were ready to assist me immediately. The manicure and pedicure were done gently--no cuts or discomfort--and the leg and foot massage was especially good. Whoever handled that did a great job! However, the hand massage was very brief, less than 30 seconds per arm, so that was underwhelming. Pricing seemed reasonable compared to other places: $60 for the manicure (with a 15% birthday discount; normally $70) and $45 for the pedicure, which included a scrub, mask, and massage. I appreciated the extra touches on the pedicure. The atmosphere was more businesslike than friendly. There wasn't much conversation, which is fine if you're just looking for efficient service, but it's worth noting. On the plus side, there's parking available, which is always a bonus. Overall, it's worth a try for the convenience and reasonable prices.

I've been to this nail salon three times now and each time has been a great experience. On my most recent visit, I got a full set with Cat-eye polish and honestly, this is the most beautiful set of nails I've ever had! Eden is more than a nail tech, he's dedicated to the artistry of his craft! He took his time, ensured that all the nails were filed into the perfect almond shape and checked in with me throughout the appointment to ensure that I was happy with the shape, length and color of the nails. I will definitely be returning in the future.

I was able to do same day walk in and it was a great experience! Boy was my nail artist and did a beautiful job on my manicure. He took his time and my nails came out perfect Amy did my pedicure and she also did a great job. 10/10 would definitely come back again

Overall, I'm satisfied with what I got. I got seated right away, which was amazing. I got a pedicure with gel ($45) and a manicure with builder gel and simple design ($70). I really liked the pedicure. It was relaxing and clean. My manicure was good too. I felt like my nail tech was rushed because he had another client waiting and it reflected in mine and my cousin's manicure. Mine wasn't as clean as I liked it to be but still I am happy with how it looks. My cousin felt more disappointed. The nail tech didn't take her requests into consideration because of the time constraint which was unfortunate. It felt like he was just trying to do it as fast as he could so he can help the next person.

I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately, my manicure didn't last. Within just a couple of days, my nails started chipping, which is really disappointing. I was expecting better quality and longer-lasting results. I will never be coming back. The lady also was ungrateful and didn't thank me after I paid her tips. Response to owner: If the nails are done well; it shouldn't chip at all. The shape and size and length of the nails were uneven. She also made me bleed... I NEVER heard her say thank you. I tipped 15% and she was quiet as I walked out of the door which ticked me off. The quality was very poor. Please don't make excuses. My thumb nail was the nail that chipped early. I can provide the picture as evidence. I never do extensive labor so I am very careful. It chipped because she didn't spend enough time on the LED cure. I placed my hand for 5 seconds and she already told me take it out. I have done my nails a lot at other places and know what top quality truly is.

Just left Eco Nails Spa, and had to write this review ASAP! Eden/Aiden (not sure if this is correct spelling) did my nails, and he was very detailed and thorough. Didn't rush when shaping, and this is probably the best oval/almond nails I've ever gotten. Will definitely come back to get my nails done!

This is one of my usual spots. It's not my first pick only because it's hard to get to with how busy E 14th St can get. Today I called my first pick and they were really busy and couldn't take me in. So I opted for Eco Nails Spa. I love Eco Nails Spa because 1) they don't rush you 2) it's tucked and hard to get to so it's not very busy in there when I go and 3) Amy was a sweetie pie today and they all usually all do a great job. I was immediately serviced upon entering and picked the Deluxe Pedicure. I usually always do a French tip but today I wanted to do a solid color and change it up. They had a good selection of OPI and DND nail swatches. And I was set on a really pretty pale pink that I know would make my new tan POP. I knew I needed a pedicure because my toenails were overgrown that it had chipped and snagged on some fabric the night before Anyway, Amy mentioned that one of my nails will be a little short because of it and I was totally okay with that, I just appreciated the communication despite the little language barrier. Halfway through she asked me how I was feeling which was really mindful because I was able to throughly relax the first half and then let her know how much I was enjoying myself because she was doing a great job taking her time with the massage part of the service. I feel like the only thing the place is lacking is some feng shui in design and vibrations. They need more healthy plants, maybe a little fountain, and better music options. If Eco Nails Spa is ever interested, I would love to extend a helping hand to help elevate the space with my natural knack at interior design. Anyway, Amy was fabulous and did a great job cleaning up just in time for spring and long days

there are no words hopefully you get the right technician other wise you will have voids in your gel color and diagonally uneven nail shape. I asked the tech to correct the angle of the nail and another tech came over to trouble shoot. still i have visibly uneven nails, I should have asked to just file my nails myself, but also there are voids of color where I can see my skin through the color. I was also charged extra to get rid of callous on my feet. but 2 walk in clients got the same skin removal treatment on their pedicures without paying extra and i will have to take care of the callouses myself. DO NOT MAKE AN APPT or they will have your phone # just walk in and hope you get the right tech. I am not hating on my tech but they should all have the same level of training and attention to detail and if you pay extra there should be an actual result. read more

For the past 2 years, Ive been looking for a nail salon that understands and gets the design and type of nails I like. I stumbled on Eco nail salon 3 weeks ago and fell in love. The guy that did my nails is super efficient, talented, always shows you his work every step of the way. He is very good with his lines and nail shape. This is my second time going here. I am very impressed and don't think I'll be going to any other salon. The salon is very well put together, chill, and clean. The ambiance is very relaxing. Been traveling 40 min to get my nails done for the past year and now I have the perfect nail salon right in front of my house . I'm super picky with my nails and I don't just let anyone work on them and this place is just Super Nice , welcoming environment , clean , staff is so patient and ladies you get what you pay for , got my full set and a pedicure and for sure will be coming back in two weeks . Recommending this place to everyone . Staff is extremely talented and know exactly what they are doing . Can't wait to bring my mom and sister honestly from the past years of getting my nails done this is so far my favorite nails ever, and I got them the first time I came here . Amy just opened this lovely nail salon - so spacious and so clean! Tons of seating for spa pedicures and table seating for manicures. Large selection of colors. Amy took her time and did a great job with my nails! The 3D flowers really set this manicure apart than ones I've had from the past :) Prices are also more than fair. Highly recommend! read more

Always happy to support a small new business; I emailed via yelp regarding pricing and asked for a Sunday appointment; I received an email reply within 10 minutes to call them to make appt and get a firm price for a regular pedi. I came into this shop after an Oakland A's day game, wanting some R&R and new polish color since I was going out of town for the weekend. What I got was absolutely not that. Imagine how excited I was that a nail/hair salon was newly opened mere steps away from my home. I walk in and notice a lady is speaking very loudly on her cellphone. I'm thinking okay, maybe it'll be a quick conversation and I can start relaxing when she's done. I peruse the polish wall and decide I like the polish I brought more. I sit down at the chair furthest away from the lady talking on the phone in an effort to not hear her. But there's only 4 chairs and she's talking HELLA loud. I get the massage started and the lady who's going to work on me, asks me to move over since there's more room. I oblige. Go to turn on the massage, it doesn't work. The lady tries to get it to work, but it doesn't. Instead of moving me back, it was just like oh well. She starts clipping my toe nails and a 5 o'clock hair cut appointment comes in 15 minutes early. She says oh let me go do her haircut, it's only going to take 10-15 minutes. 20-25 minutes later, much more loud phone conversation, I'm still sitting there. I finally had enough, put on my flip flops and stormed out. I totally understand wanting to help all your customers, but you have got recognize when customers are feeling uncomfortable and under appreciated. So sad, I wanted to love you Serena. read more

Me and my husband been looking for a new nail shop , we found this one .. saw it was new and decided to check it out, we called to see if they were busy and they said we can come right away ... Place looks nice and clean upon walking in, when being seated my husband noticed his foot bowl was dirty, the woman wiped it off and started the water. They asked us what package we wanted and we chose deluxe mani and pedi for me and deluxe pedi for my husband ... we were about 10 mins into the massage and my husband was already done ! The woman whom we did not get name seemed to have an attitude and a look of disgust !! The man who did my feet was okay , seemed like he was new he took a pretty long time and the massage was very intense !! To the point my calves were sore , Boy did my nails he did an AMAZING job ! Shape and all he's the only reason I give it 2 stars!! The woman who did my husband feet had stepped out for about 30-45 mins and when she came back the look of disgust came back on her face along with an eye roll as if we should have been done and gone . If I do come back to this salon it would ONLY!!!! be to get a service done by Boy ! read more

Wow!! Thank you so much Amy and boy for the deluxe is pedicure and the French ombré. I came super last minute and they were able to squeeze me in. I'm so thankful that they're able to do that. I would definitely recommend it to my friends to come here. This is so unfortunate, because I've came here before and I always had a good experience. So I went yesterday for a color, cut and hair mask. In total it was 80 great! Was happy and I felt so good I gave her a 20 dollar tip on my card, so 100 total. When I checked my bank statement she charged me an extra 20. That's illegal and that's just so invasive. I was super nice to her and for her to do that to me and charge me without my permission. So in total it was 120... I'm a little angry and I will talk to my bank and I'll see what other options I have. this is disappointing because I was nice enough to give her a good tip and for her to do this, not okay at all.
