I came here a couple years ago and left a review at that time, but we have since moved and come back to the area. The business has likewise moved from Market Heights to Stillhouse Road. A girlfriend of mine came in for a visit this past weekend and we both got massages. Scheduling was very easy, and they did not require A card on file to make the reservation. I was told that we would speak with our therapist at the time and they would tailor the massage to our personal preferences. The day of, my therapist never really asked me what I wanted but took note of the fact I just wanted to relax. I got a Swedish massage and my friend got a deep tissue. While I thought the quality of massage was very good, the facility leaves a little bit to be desired in terms of a "Spa like" atmosphere. The suite is partitioned off into two sections: a hair salon on the left and upon entry, and the spa is to the left. Walking into the spa, it was very dark and they were playing Bobby Darren music. Not a dealbreaker, but also not very spa like atmosphere. The friendly host walked us to the very back of the spa area to change in a room that doubles as a locker room as well as a bathroom for staff and clients. We changed together - which is not really a problem since we are close friends - but could have been a little awkward. The hostess assumed we would change together. Afterwards we were guided to our respective massage rooms and therapists. I think my masseuse's name was Mark, and he was very pleasant. He did a very nice foot scrub for me before giving me some privacy to get situated on the massage table. Unfortunately it became apparent very quickly that I was actually sharing a large room with my friend and her massage therapist (they just had one of those accordion walls separating the big room into two. You could easily hear their conversation with, which again, not very spa like). They did have some nature sounds which were nice - but could also use some variety because I think it was just the same storm track playing on repeat. Mark gave me a nice massage (Although he spent an inordinate amount of time stretching my legs and rocking my body back and forth on the table - which I've never had done in a Swedish massage before); but overall I have no complaints and felt very relaxed afterwards. My friend like I said her massage was what she needed in terms of deep tissue relief. While it wasn't an unpleasant experience it also wasn't really what I was expecting or looking for in terms of relaxation. I think I would go to one of the more established spas in the area for that spa experience. But if you were just looking for a quality massage and don't really care about the overall experience, then this isn't a bad place to go. read more

First time ever going to a spa that wasn't for just a hair trim. Have to say I was truly impressed!! Silvia was awesome and took her time to work through my hair, which btw has never been treated for anykind of hair care except for those leave in conditioner and the regular washing we all do. My hair was frizzy, tangled, and had lost the shine. I had a year and a half ago gotten a perm from a salon that didn't hold or stay well and since then had messed up my hair and texture was never the same. The process of the hair detox is so well worth it especially if your hair is both oily and dry. She worked her way making sure each inch of my scalp was exfoliated and tended to before she got to work adding some magic liquid into the mix. Once she massaged it all through my head to every inch of my scalp I was then taken over to the sink washing center. Very throughly my hair was washed and shampooed and cleaned out. Let me tell you.... I'm not exaggerating, it felt like for the first in a long time as weird as this may sound. I could BREATHE through my hair. After it was done I was introduced to what was called a hair mask. Never tried it at all but that hot towel treatment sealed the deal. Pretty sure I fell asleep for a good bit. After my hair was rinsed out once more I sat again in the chair of wonders and relaxed as my hair was blow dryed, and styled. I looked in the mirror and to my shock my hair looked amazing!!! It had that shine!! The bounce!!! And to top it all off it was so so SOFT!! Never thought I would feel my hair as soft as it was!! I had gotten 2 services that day and tell you what 65 bucks seems like a steal for me!! Left her a good tip because she definitely delivered beyond what I was expecting!! If you want to pamper yourself but don't want something expensive definitely go here they offer so much more than just hair treatments!! Keep in mind it's by appointments BUT honestly that makes it so much better. They take their time and do not rush to get another person in the spot. read more

I scheduled my appointment a week in advanced. Unfortunately the stylist I requested is unavailable (license is still being transferred). I figured I would give them a try anyway because the person I spoke to put me at ease and said she had an experienced stylist that could cut my hair until the stylist I requested license came through. I arrived 15 minutes early and waited to check in. After about 5 minutes I decided to sit down. I could see someone cutting hair and figured someone would come check me in. Another few minutes passed and someone (I think the first person I spoke to on the phone) greeted and checked me in. She then went about her business. About 30 minutes passed and the stylist was still asking how the person in the chair wanted their hair cut. The person who greeted me realized I was still waiting and went to check on the stylist. The stylist began questioning if I was even there and what time did I get there. It seemed like she was insinuating her lack of attentiveness was because she thought I was late. The person who greeted me informed her I was on time. I was updated that it might take another 5-10 minutes. I waited 5 more minutes and decided to leave. I was really disappointed in how they valued my time. I was also disappointed hearing how the stylist talked about the community she works in when she thought no one was listening. I haven't cut my hair in a couple years, so I was looking for a highly recommended salon to cut my hair. My hair is difficult to work with. Very long and THICK hair. I was blown away by the services they offer for the low price they have. For $45 i would have been satisfied with JUST a haircut. I will never come back to this place. I made two attempt to get a hair cut here. My first appointment was canceled because the stylist had an emergency and they never called me to cancel. I arrived at my appointment time and was told my stylist was gone. I rescheduled in person for another day at 1:30pm. When I arrived at my second appointment I was then told my appointment wasn't till 1:45pm. I left and came back at 1:45pm at that time I could hear the stylist had just started a cut on another lady. I sat and waited till 2:20pm and she wasn't even done. Obviously they do not value their customers time. I've had my share of horrible dye jobs and haircuts from stylists that I just gave up and started doing my own hair at home (thanks YouTube tutorials). It's basically a one-on-one conversation with your stylist where you discuss your vision of what you want, your hair analysis, and a realistic expectation of what your stylist can achieve due to the condition of your hair. Afterwards, you schedule another appointment to get your hair done on another day. This review is for Chungson who I picked to be my stylist. Mainly, because she's an experienced Senior Stylist and I'm not playing around with my hair anymore to have it screwed up again by amateurs. This lady totally gets me and what I want.. and I can be pretty darn picky. I have never been disappointed with anything she has done to my hair so far; as a matter of fact, my hair has never looked better. Her hair color skills are on point and I highly recommend her! You also get a complimentary hand, arm and scalp massage, aromatherapy, herbal tea or fruit-infused water. Yes, Ecoblu is a bit more expensive than other salons, but it's totally worth it. // Aveda hair color is 99% naturally derived and provides 100% grey coverage with no fading. Quite possibly the most ineptly managed salon I've ever been to. On more than one occasion I've been forced to reschedule an appointment that had been booked well in advance (I work 60 hours a week so it is hard to wiggle in time for things like hair cuts!). One other time they first accused me of leaving without paying and 5 minutes later called to say they had overcharged me by $50! They are lucky they are virtually the only game in town. I received decent service from this place. The workers were friendly and the lady who did my wax was awesome. However, I was upset at the fact that I paid the full price for a Brazilian wax which was $85 and the waxer did NOT wax the entire area that consist of a Brazilian wax. The price for a Brazilian wax is ridiculous here. I paid only $35-40 at an upscale salon/spa in Hawaii and she waxed the entire area. The only reason why I came here to get a Brazilian wax was because my husband gave me a $30 gift card for Christmas. I called early Saturday to schedule an appointment for a haircut. Luckly, someone missed their appointment, so they were able to fit me in right away, I recommend making appointment ahead of time because they are usually booked. The salon was nice and the staff was friendly. I was immediately greeted and offered a beverage. I was not aware that children were not allowed, so I brought my seven year old. It wasn't an issue; the girl at the front counter was understanding, I wouldn't bring him again though just out of respect for their policy. The haircut was awesome. I had my scalped massaged with oil (not sure what kind). Then she shampooed my hair applied a conditioner with a hot towel. She cut my hair exactly the way I wanted it and blowed dried it straight. All of this for about $38 normal price. The entire process took about 1.5 hours which is much longer than other haircuts I've had, but I have to say it was worth it. Recently went to get a facial done (unsure of which kind I received) but let me tell you that facial was EVERYTHING!! I have dry to normal skin and Whatever magic she did on my face, gave my skin back so much hydration that it clearly needed. Definitely going back soon. Oh! First, I booked a haircut here and told them I wanted the "Junior Stylist" which is only $35 versus $50 for "Master Stylist". They confirmed this over the phone and told me I would be with one person. When I arrived on the day of my appointment the name of the stylist who greeted me seemed different than what they had said over the phone but I went with it, figuring I was remembering wrong. She did a great job on my hair, so no complaints there. However, when I went to check out they told me my total was $50+. When I asked why they said "Well, she's a Master Stylist." I complained saying that I never asked to be put with a Master Stylist and that I had even specifically stated I wanted the cheap option. They did end up only charging me for the Junior Stylist cut BUT they did so very begrudgingly and I definitely felt like they didn't believe me. My second experience was with the waxing department. I set up an appointment to get a brazilian wax. I looked at the website first and saw that the bikini wax costs $30 so I was prepared to pay anywhere from $50-70 for a brazilian. However, once I went to check out they told me my total was $100!!!!!!! Really? $70 more than a regular bikini wax? Are you joking?? So I paid it and left feeling like I got completely ripped off (I've paid $50-$70 at other spas for a brazilian that actually hurt much less than this one). Needless to say, after these two experiences I will most likely not be returning. The only reason I am rating them a 2 star is because the work they did was actually good but I am not happy with their customer service or their prices. read more

This salon was recommended to me by a girl I work with. Before checking this salon out I was tired of not getting my hair done the way I wanted. When I stopped in to make an appointment, I was already blown away. I sat down with a stylist (Jordan) and told her what I wanted. The consultation eased my mind because she understood exactly what I wanted, she knew how to do it, and I didn't feel rushed to talk to her. I finally went to my appointment and my hair was beautiful! Definitely worth every penny. I cannot be more pleased. I have been to Eco Blu before but today's experience was beyond what I have ever had. I had an appointment with Carmel today and when I arrived she was just finishing up with her previous client. Once she was done she got me Ans took me to her chair, then the conversation started. I have had a string of bad haircuts, thank you covid, so I needed seriously good cut. After telling her what I wanted and my request of not having any clippers used, ptsd from previous said bad haircuts, Carmel went and chatted with a colleague. About 5 mins of so later her and her colleague came back and told me that Carmel isnt comfortable fixing my hair just yet and wanted to have more eyes on it to ensure I wasn't more traumatized. Her and her colleague discussed what needed to be done and then executed it! I can finally say that I am happy with my hair cut! I will be back! Best haircut I've gotten in a long time, but they get the extra star for how she did my husband's hair! He looked so sharp! His hair actually still looked good over a month later, she just did such a great job on him! Usually people are scared to cut his slightly curly hair in the back but she trimmed it up just right and it grew in perfectly. After waiting over 25 minutes for a waste of time consultation that they force you to have, the person I was supposed to meet with was still in the process of doing someone's hair which would have meant waiting another 10 minutes to see her. Apparently they think it is okay to allow people to wait over 35 minutes to have a consultation. I would hate to see how long they make you wait for an appointment. No one at the front desk informed me of why the wait was so long, I asked them and told me they were sorry and shrugged their shoulders. Wow! Absolutely wonderful! I went in with my husband for the 60 mins couple massage! I had Dana my husband had Mary! We were both sore and stressed after moving so it was a much needed massage both ladies did fantastic I literally felt like she was untying knots in my back! And the price was very reasonable too just $135 for an hour massage time in the steam room and a foot scrub! The environment was wonderful too and the staff made me feel comfortable and at home! I highly recommend Eco blu to any one wanting a good massage at a great price! STAY AWAY!!! If I could give 0 stars I would. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! Booked an eyebrow wax, cut and color consultation at 12:00. The esthetician called in sick that morning and no one bothered to call and let me know. Drove all the way from West Fort Hood/Copperas Cove to be told the esthetician was out sick. I scheduled my day around this appt. If I had known she wasn't there is would have canceled as that was the main reason for my appt, which the manager would've known had he bothered to let me know before my appt time. They didn't even bother to tell me when I showed up early for paperwork, instead he chose to wait until I was done to let me know. I came in for a strand test to see if they could make my dark brown hair to the light brown/dark blonde hair color that I wanted. They called me later that day saying the strand test lifted to the exact color I wanted so I scheduled an appointment. The girl who did my hair was nice, but unfortunately I did not leave the salon a dark blonde. In fact I felt I was more darker than I was going in. After a few weeks, it faded to a medium brown but I felt lied to and tricked into coming in. After six weeks, I went to the store and bought Loreal ash brown and did it myself. Went for the first time (finally) for color/highlight. The person I got was ok. she was quiet during the process but I didnt mind it. I'm not a chatty person anyways. She did later reveal that she was new at the salon which didn't bug me however did not appreciate that I was charged an extra toner because the highlights set in too much I guess. Such an awesome place to get a massage! My husband and I went in for a couples massage and it was the very first time for us to get a professional massage. The entire experience was so awesome and very comfortable! Both of our massage therapists were super friendly and made us feel very comfortable! For the couples massage we got a full hour massage plus a foot scrub and a complimentary session in the sauna room which was optional all for $135. Cant beat that! The salon/spa was super clean, very relaxing, and had an upscale feel! We are addicted and will definitely be back in the near future! read more

Horrible massage experience. I arrived 15 minutes prior to appointment. After waiting until 5 minutes after massage was supposed to start, I went to find someone and the guy that had taken me back to the waiting area admitted that he forgot to inform massage therapist that I was there. Seriously? Things just went down hill from there. My massage therapist turned out to be unprofessional, made inappropriate comments throughout massage, it felt more like a chiropractic visit than a relaxing massage, and to top it off she ended at 60 minutes when I had paid for 90 minutes. WTH?! Steer clear of "Joycie". And the way they "resolved" my complaints was to just credit my account, but why would I want to return to a place I've had such a bad experience at?!? FIVE STARS FOR THEIR PRENATAL MASSAGES!!!!! During my third trimester, I had back spasms that would not go away with even the strongest pain meds. My husband had booked a 30 minute massage for me at ecoblu. The masseuse was extremely friendly and she made me feel extremely relaxed! The atomosphere was very nice and calming. My 30 minute massage felt like 3 hours! It was awesome. She even gave my husband some tips on how to do quick massages to relieve some of my back pains at home. read more

If you live in the area and want an absolute professional experience and GREAT massage then this is 100% the place you need to go. Other places in the area don't compare at all. The price is way better here for what you get, nice steam room for 30 mins, foot scrub, and 60 min massage for 2 people, $135 I'm not complaining at all. A very wonderful staff and nice facility.
