My home's AC completely stopped working last night. I called Chason at 8am, and one of their technicians, Steve, arrived just after 11am. He was friendly, knowledgeable and thorough. He took the time to explain everything he was doing, and I learned a lot about the cooling system that I didn't know before. To sum it up, it was top-notch service at a fair price. You really can't beat the quality of small, family-owned businesses. It's no surprise they've been in business for 75 years. The next time I need service, I won't hesitate to call Chason. Person did say they were backlogged so we didn't push it but then they charged for the service visit without fulfilling it ! NEVER let these guys in your house…read more I first called them to work on my boiler. They charged me $300 bucks, found out later, they did not fix the problem. Then that night, my pressure relief valve on my hot water heater failed and soaked my basement. I made a HUGE mistake by calling the same company to send out some plumbers to fix the issue. They replaced the valve then came up stairs and said there was an error code showing low pilot light, but not to worry should resolve on its own. So they left. As I walked downstairs I smelled the strongest stench of natural gas I have ever smelled. Turns out these yahoos left a gas connection very loose. Which explains the low pilot light, because half the gas was leaking into my basement. Luckily someone was there (who actually fixed the boiler, AJ Micheal's tech) and he found the leak and tightened the connection while I scrambled to open windows. So of course I was upset that the plumbers almost blew up my house and killed my entire family. Called the dispatcher who essentially said, " well the leak is fixed and they are onto the next call so what do you want us to do?" Took 3 or 4 days of calling to get a supervisor on the line. Who did nothing for survive recovery. The plumbers who Albright Mechanical sent to my home were incompetent and dangerous. furthermore, the company showed zero urgency in addressing the situation. I truly hope they don't kill any one.

Plus I believe they are a family-owned business. AC stopped working and needed replacement after 30+ years. Got an estimate from random company with EXCELLENT Yelp reviews. They came in, checked out the unit and later gave a quote. The sales guy seemed so salesy and pushy and I had to dig to get details about the future installation process. Also my tenant said the tech had an attitude. America's Green was recommended by my Dad who has used their service before. They inspected and quoted $1000k less than other company. (They didn't know about other quote). The lady on the phone was so transparent about how everything would be handled. It got messy coordinating schedules with tenant but they were so accommodating and nice throughout the whole process.

Mr. Greg came out the next day and replaced a part. My unit has been running fine since then. In July 2018, my electric A/C unit/heat pump for upstairs wasn't performing well and we decided to replace with a brand new Lennox unit. America's Green Heating & Air once again did an outstanding job. My house is cooler/warmer and I see a huge savings on my bill. They are very professional, responsive, through and honest. They did not pull a permit. They did a bait and switch with equipment (what they intended to install was not what we contracted for). It'll cost me twice as much to rip out the garbage and replace it. They will not return the deposit. We are stuck with NO HVAC all summer.
