Before they were Econex we had the same technician for years that would come out very month like clockwork and they did a great job. Last March they skipped a month, and then after the next service by a different tech they skipped 2 months, and then it was 4 months until their most recent serrvice in December 2025. It's now March and they haven't been to our home in 3 months and they don't answer their phone. I wonder if they are still in business? Okay. I just got a call back stating there was a glitch in their system and they have scheduled someone for this Friday. Hopefully we are back on track. read more

After Terminix purchased them in September 2022, service has gone way downhill. There was also no communication to customers regarding the change in ownership. 1. No one responds to text messages or calls anymore. 2. You will surprisingly receive a text message the night before a periodic service call that you were not contacted about in advance like before. They used to provide a timeframe too, but no more. 3. Technicians are different and miss service items. Need de-webbing? They might just do one spot. 4. Need action from a negative review? Don't count on it (check the history in other reviews below). This used to be a reputable family run business, but I cannot recommend this company anymore. read more

If you have a complaint LEAVE A REVIEW ON GOOGLE. No customer service. Looks like I'm not the only one not able to get a hold of anyone. I have emailed 3 times, left 2 voicemails and called 3 different numbers found on website/bill/Google. I'm also not able to get into my online portal. Trying to cancel service. Based on other reviews I'm sure I won't be hearing back from anyone and will just have to contact credit card company when my next charge shows up. UPDATE: Apparently a Google review is the only way to get a response! We have been customers for the past five years, but saw a dramatic change in service after they were bought out as mentioned in some of their prior reviews below. They no longer answer their phones, do the bare minimum on maintenance with no advance notice, and raised their prices. I've tried to call several times to get service in between as a part of our regular contract, but can never get a real person to call me back despite calling 3 to 4 times. We are discontinuing this use of service as they are no longer responsive or providing what we need. I do not recommend using this party for pest control. read more

I'm about to cancel because it's getting very discouraging not being able to reach anyone at the office. No one answers the phone or returns messages. The company has a record of my code to access the backyard for spraying, but they did not spray this past Thursday (confirmed by my cameras). 1 star for the nice girl who picked up the phone to book my appointment. First of all; they NEVER pick up the phone. I had to call 3 times and leave 3 voicemails, no one called me back. Finally I called a 4th time and someone picked up and scheduled my rodent removal service. I gave her all my info she said they will come from 2-4pm the next day (yesterday) The next day comes, I called around 12pm to see approximately what time they will come or to get a contact #, no one picked up I left a voicemail. It's now 2pm I called again no answer. I kept calling from 2-5pm NO ANSWER I called like 10 times. They never showed up!!! I took time off work to be home for the appt and no one coming was a major disappointment and inconvenience. And the fact that they no called no show was even worst. Why not tell me you won't come so I can go to work. My fiance has been in the ICU for a month, so financially it's hard to take time off, plus I could've spent this time to visit my fiance instead of just sitting around at home. I'm just really disappointed. I tried calling today 3 times no answer. And yes I do space out my calls and leave voicemails.. super terrible experience. read more

Our technician is very knowledgeable and good to work with. He has been with the company for some time. The office is not always easy to communicate with since the company was sold. Our technician Jake J. is fantastic. He's serviced our house for many years. We'd be overrun with pests without him since our property borders a nature preserve. If we call with a new issue, such as an ant trail in the house, he comes right over, identifies the source and applies the correct treatment. I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience has been too frustrating not to share. First, their treatment simply doesn't work. We've had an ongoing spider problem in our home with no improvement. I've repeatedly asked for a heads-up before each visit to ensure someone is home, but they continue to show up unannounced. I subscribed to their monthly service, and there have been several times where the technician was "out sick" and never came. No one has shown up for the past two months, yet I'm still being charged. I've been trying to cancel my subscription for weeks, but customer service won't answer my calls or return any of my messages. Avoid this company at ALL costs! I was originally told that any maintenance between treatments was covered and have had an issue with ants. They sent someone who put a gel down in my kitchen and I was charged for the service. After 3+ years with Econex, will be canceling service. $100+ quarterly visits consist of 5-10 minute service leaving cobwebs behind. We've needed multiple in-between visits to address and ants and spiders in the home despite the quarterly preventative services. Difficult to make appointments. Most recently was quoted a 6 day wait for an appointment with no anticipated arrival window. Was told I need to call the morning of the appointment for them to provide an estimate of when they'd arrive. Spending $400+ a year to receive this level of service and spending additional money on treatment ourselves due to the long wait times is incredibly frustrating. read more

It's obvious this company has no idea what customer service is. I had one of their servicemen, Rodney at my house on March 31 to find what we thought was a rodent infestation in our attic. He took pictures that he was suppose to send me and the owner of our rental with a plan to cure the problem. We've received neither. I've called and left numerous messages in the nearly 3 weeks since and all I get is voice mail. I even drove to their offices in Anaheim, last week that they share with Western Exterminator. To my surprise no one was in the office, but I did manage to find someone from Western Exterminator who took my information and promised to pass it on. Still crickets! I left several more messages today...nothing. It's a crying shame my landlord has been a customer and pays for the service on a monthly basis to be treated like this. We had an "ant problem" and I was hoping to have someone come out quickly. Within two days, I was able to get an appointment. Our technician, Beto was awesome. I met Beto outside the house and explained all my concerns to which he addressed each one by one. He explained how he was going to fix each problem and options for addressing the ant problem within the house. Thanks Beto. We have been using Econex since moving to this home in 2020. Beware! This company is going down the drain. Don't hire them! I've been a customer for 15 years and over the last six months their customer service sucks. You used to be able to call their office and talk to someone. Not anymore. No one answers the phone nor do they return messages. If you send them a text message there's an auto reply to call the office. A continuous loop to no where. Today they were scheduled to come and spray for pests. It was rescheduled from last month when they screwed up my appointment. No one showed up and no one had the courtesy to tell me no one was coming today. I eventually got a text message reply after sending it to them twice for an ETA. They said their tech called was sick and no one was in the area to do my service. If I hadn't been on them for an ETA I would have sat around the house all day waiting for nothing. Terrible company. They deserve to go out of business read more
