Between…read moregetting charged $3,000 every few months for, "topping off freon" (note: my system was installed new in 2018, so I'm not even sure if freon was the refrigerant the system needed), to proposing a $20k install of a new unit while mind was under warranty (twice), to claiming that my warranty was invalid until I set up an email thread with my HVAC company and my repair team to prove that my system was under warranty, to finally claiming that the local supply shop was "out of parts" for 6 months straight (I eventually called the shop, and they confirmed that they haven't been able to get a response from the repair team.). LONG STORY SHORT, I've been through HVAC hell, and finally decided to go with a new, local company with stellar reviews that recognized my system's warranty. Mario came to inspect the system, identified the repairs that needed to be made, was in and out within 2 hours only a day after I requested service, and not even $500 later I'm enjoying a cool, air-conditioned home. Extra points for not trying to upsell me on an entirely new system (lol - happened to me twice since buying my home, neighbors actually warned me about non-local HVAC companies), AND I can safely say that when I DO eventually need a new HVAC system, I'll be going with Manny's. To the team: You are doing things right. Following a very thorough diagnostic assessment of the overall unit, Jesus suggested that we hold off installing any new parts at this time, as the system is somewhat old and doesn't provide any specifics concerning what needs to be replaced. Indeed, I appreciated Jesus's honest and straightforward assessment, as opposed to relying on guesswork to resolve the problem. At this point, I expect that we will likely be replacing our aging unit sometime this year....and, without a doubt, Manny's will be the company I call to do the job. I paid $11,000 for a job that really is substandard. 1. Danny came to do my quote and was very nice, but when actual installation came he was not onsite. A very young and inexperienced guy installed the units basically in the middle of the wall. I was not consulted asked before the guy tore huge fist size holes in my wall that are in no way standard placement for mini splits. The guy moved the unit, I had to pay for the walls to be repaired and repainted! 2. The condenser was placed on the ground in the driveway. Again--I was never consulted about where it was to be installed. It should have been installed on the side of the house--it limits the function of my driveway forever. I cannot get my recycling/trash out if I am parked in my own driveway. 3. The drains that were placed on the outer wall of my house were installed so poorly that they constantly fall off. They were not adhered at all. When I put them back up, they are fitted so shoddily that they cannot be secured. Every time I pick them up and try to reassemble them--I can see how jankily they were put together. One of them is now cracked and water is spewing all over my wall. For nearly $11K spent, I feel really taken advantage of and bad about the integrity of their work. I contacted them in advance of this review with all of these points--they never responded.

He took the time to explain what was causing the issue and also educated us on the importance of routine A/C maintenance to help prevent future problems. Don't think twice; just hire Southwest!…read more Our AC was leaking water in our attic and several vendors came out to diagnose. All of the basic fixes failed, and they all said we needed a full replacement. We gave Southwest a call for one last opinion based on a friend's recommendation, and Erick saved us. He spent 2+ hours in our sweltering attic troubleshooting every possible issue, until he found a quirk in our condensate drainage that no one else figured out. Once he accounted for that, it was quick work to purge our line and clear a clog that was responsible for the overflow in our attic. He knew we were resigned to replace the AC and easily could have told us the same. But he worked extra hard on our behalf, provided an affordable fix, and stayed longer to clean up the shoddy work from the past vendors. Admittedly it took a little longer to get Southwest out to our home, but I now know it's because they're going to take their time and really solve your problem.
