Koa is our service technician who is doing a great job. He found a part that was damaged due to the very hard water here in Las Vegas and replaced it. They have always done a great job of replacing and maintaining our drinking water RO system. We have really good tasting drinking water and are so happy that we chose this system in our sink. I Purchased my Whole House Water Treatment & Purification System in early 2021. B. D. Trautman's Eco Water has been awesome from day 1. The price was very competitive & more important, the service from the install to now has been great! I get a reminder every year to change the necessary filters which I can install myself. I had my 1st service call Friday. The technician not only corrected the issue, he was there on time, the bill was less than I expected and he checked the whole system while he was there replacing one leaky clamp. I helped my mother over 3 years ago purchase a full water system from Ecowater and what a relief to not have to monitor the salt bags month after month. The owner was the sales person and quite knowledgeable and through in explaining the system. The system has had the required annual filter changes and worked fine.The technicians have been very courteous and prompt and quick. Mother passed and I was ABLE TO TAKE THE SYSTEM WITH ME to our new home. The move was so easy. There was a charge, of course, but so much less than selling the system with Mother's house and buying a new one for ourselves. PLEASE DON'T CHOOSE THIS COMPANY thru Costco! A Total Ripoff company! Their services are terrible! Very incompetent staff, they just want your money!!! They charged $129 for soft water filtration maintenance service in which the tech (Kavo) finished within 2 minutes. I honestly don't know what possibly could have done in 2 minutes! He said all he did is to turn off the service reminder!!!! After I called Brian (company owner) he also never explained why they charged me this much & Brian was very unprofessional and not wanting to listen to anything! They don't value their customers! No idea where to start. Walked in at 3:50pm and they close at 4pm. Salesmen all grouped together. Walked to reception asking to purchase a system. We walked over to sales and overheard them fighting NOT to help me. Customer service is horrible. The salesman that did help didn't really listen to my concerns, just told me that they were the Tesla of water systems backed by Berkshire. I'm in tech sales and can't believe this is a tactic. I just purchased my home that came with a home water system from Eco Water Systems. The monitor said to replace the reverse osmosis filters, so we did at $69 a piece. Once replaced the monitor would not reset still. So I called back and spoke with a Diane. She became impatient with me, and said they would have to send someone out to service it at $79. I said since this is our system, you should be able to walk me through this, and or not charge. She said we can not do it for free, and I will not argue with you !!!! When I asked for her full name and her supervisor's name, she refused and hung up on me. Well, doing my research, I discovered she is the owner, DIANE TRAUTMAN! That is not the way to treat a customer who has just spent money at your business. So, the next day I called and got a professional man named Zac, after listening, he suggested changing the batteries in the manifold. I did just that and it fixed the problem. I also had great experiences with Brie. Perhaps DIANE TRAUTMAN needs a class on customer service and how to treat people period when you have a business. I don't write reviews, but my experience with this company and company owner was so bad, I decide not to create and account just to write a review. I have had an under the counter water filtration system that I bought more than 5 years ago from Costco and I've been going to this company for 2 years to have my filter serviced. In January 2021, I spent $502 with labor and parts to replace the water filter and a connection that had cracked. Only 6 weeks after having it replaced, it started to taste weird. It was just me and my son drinking the water. He told me that the filter is supposed to be changed every 3 months. I have been a loyal customer for 2 years, since when do I have to change it every 3 months? When I bought this system 5+ years ago from Costco, I was told the two filters on each side of the system is supposed to be done once a year and the middle filter is supposed to be changed every 3 years. I like to be safe and change all 3 once a year and these filters are EXPENSIVE! Only now I'm being told to change it every 3 months? I had brought a bottle of water for him to taste. The water was warm because I like to drink warm water. He rudely told me that I only supposed to use cold water and I was using it wrong. Then I showed him one of the filters and asked him why the filter was so oily and dirty. I was just worried that maybe the person that was sent out to service the filter was not doing their job properly. He claimed that they always put oil on the part that screw into the system and that I had made the filter dirty and dusty myself and that I had voided the warranty by taking it out myself. I took it out because I just wanted to put in new filters and to show him that there was something wrong. How can I void the warranty when it is a machine in my house. This is just a part that is meant to be replaced. I've been replacing the filter on my own for years. I only decided to have this done because of a broken connection and thought I might as well have the filters changed too. I guess this upset him so much that he went to his receptionist and told her to "make a note that this house is to no serve" on the computer right in front of me. Lame response from Eco Water. True I never had them over to service the system. After seeing how they ripped me off I vowed to never spend another penny with them. And quite frankly the $300 and $400 systems work as well as the $4000 system. One of their service calls equals the cost of a new system. Lot of hype but it's no better than the other systems out there. read more

After purchasing our home, my wife and I immediately started reaching out to water treatment companies. We researched the options at Home Depot, as well as a few well rated local companies. While walking out of Costco one day, I noted their water treatment booth and gave them a call. I was contacted by Travis (a sales person for Ecowater) the same day. He was very polite and professional on the phone and scheduled an in home consultation very soon after. When Travis stopped by our home, he inspected the builder installed water loop in the garage, and gave us several options for water treatment. He was very knowledgeable with the many challenges with the water here in Vegas and put our minds at ease with making a purchase. While they may not be the 'cheapest' option in town, their reputation, customer service and nationwide Costco backing are well worth it. We agreed to purchase a home water softening system and their RO system for drinking water at the kitchen sink. Later that week, their installation crew was scheduled and arrived on time. The crew was professional and cleaned up after themselves. Following the install, the tech went over all the paperwork, operation details thoroughly and ensured I understood everything. Six months later we have zero regrets and are extremely happy with the system. No more lugging water bottles from the store and no more water spots in the shower or on the vehicles after a wash. Shortly before writing this post, I had Ecowater return to our home in order to reposition the unit in the garage. Eric arrived on time and was very quick to move the unit to my desired location. Zach came to educate me on the reverse osmosis system I requested through Costco. I have worked with Zach previously and he is very friendly, knowledgeable and easy to get along with. Brandon installed the system and like a master of his craft he completed it fast, clean and explained how the machine works as basically he can to someone who is not well educated about the system. Both Zach and Brandon also pointed out the issues with our current soft water system which originally came with the house when we bought it. We did not even know about the problem until I specifically asked Zach to see it while he was there. They never tried to sell us a new system but were kind enough to explain how we can keep it working to it's full potential. We found out it was initially installed incorrectly and salt water was draining on the side of the house affecting our stucco. Brandon was really nice to fix the error with the tube placement and also taught me how the machine works. I am truly truly grateful to this team of professionals and especially to Zach and Brandon for their help and guidance. This is top customer service and it is very much appreciated. read more

I haven't had the product but for about 4-5 days so I can't really rate that. Generally, it is smaller and the specs are much better than the 15 year old one I had from a competing service. Well, you couldn't ask for better customer service. I stopped at their booth in the local Costco. The sales rep wasn't in so I left my name and phone number. I received a call from Travis the next day. We talked over the phone about the type of equipment I needed and it turns out that for my usage, the least expensive of the water softener units they sell would suffice for my needs. Rather than go to them or them to me, Travis sent me the details and pictures of they unit he referenced. I sent him photos of the current old unit along with the connections and controls. It appeared it would be a great fit with no extra plumbing or welding. A couple of days later, the technician arrived, explained what he would be doing and in about an hour, I had a new water softeners. Awesome service. read more

We have had EcoWater systems for many years now. Every year I get a reminder to make an appointment to have our filters and membrane filter checked to make sure we are getting quality drinking water and everything is working the way it should be. Everyone that I have spoken to have been very professional, courteous and very knowledgeable. Making an appointment is extremely easy. I spoke to Marty who was very nice and helpful. Chris, our servicing tech was very thorough and answered all of my questions. He brought all the filters that might have been needed with him so everything that needed to be replaced was done on the spot. In my opinion, Brian, the owner, has a 5 star quality operation.. Not really impressed I bought a system for $5000 bucks and still have to pay an annual fee for the filters. I saw on line that new customers get the alkaline water system for free. I'm having a hard time getting filters for my reverse osmosis system. My account was deleted so I have to register as a new customer as if I haven't spent a ton of money on the system. We found Ecowater Systems through Costco. Their team was prompt, efficient and professional. I spoke to the sales person over the phone, he emailed me all the information about their systems so that I could review it and then I discussed all the options with him over the phone. After making a decision they were able come out within two days of our conversation. The installers were polite, helpful, and very quick. They went over the whole system with me. I love my eco water system, I have owned mine for about a year now it delivers fresh clean water from your home water supply. I don't have to buy bottled water anymore that's a big savings . We all know that the tap water here in Las Vegas is't the greatest. It's a good investment to insure your family has clean drinking water and added filtration. Don't walk away from this system... RUN! If you think this is a "set it and forget it" system, you have another thing coming. Big day today, I get to add my third bag of salt in over a year. Seems I need to be crowbarring the salt regularly to avoid what they call "bridging." Not at all what we signed up for. Hands still cracked... just hasn't worked since we bought it. Have had service and sales out here 3 or 4 times and the problem persists. If I could get my money back, I would in a heart beat. read more

I would recommend against this system. The upfront cost is very expensive and they did not mention at COSTCO or when the salesman came out to the house, that the filters can only be purchased from Ecowater. The filters run $70.00 each and 2 of them need to be changed every 6 months. I think you could find a similar product at a much more reasonable price. Oh and they wanted to charge us 100 dollar service fee to change two screw in filters. Don't believe the hype shop elsewhere. read more
