This review is long overdue. Ed and his team were amazing and beyond exceptional. It's been months since our wedding and the great service hasn't stopped. It's funny because Ed was actually fired before we met him. My now wife and I had a little disagreement before our meeting with Ed so let's say he caught us on one of our bad days. To anyone that's getting married, you'll know what we mean. You'll go through many frustrating moments throughout. Ed was on time and waiting for us. He presented what he had to offer in a very professional, organized manner without any pressure. What set his services apart from anyone else is how organized this guy was. One of the questions we asked and that was what he would do if someone requested a song or genre of music that we did not want to be played. His response was that he would say he didn't have that song or that he would play it later. Most DJs we asked would say that the bride & groom don't want that to be played. ED understood that this would be our day and didn't want us to worry about minor requests/issues. Another important topic we discussed was the level of interaction we wanted from him. Not too much and not too little..which he delivered on! Now on the actual day of the wedding. Ed was on time. Well actually much earlier which provided comfort in knowing that our dj showed up. It also shows that he gives himself enough time in case of any issues. Honestly, we didn't hear much from Ed during his setup. All i can say is that his setup is clean, no cables on the floor or in plain sight. We let him do whatever he wanted with the lighting and it was perfect. The photobooth was a hit. Also, appreciate the special accommodation he did for us. We asked if he could have the photobooth with a backdrop setup outside during cocktail hour to take pictures with guests as they came in. He handled it with ease. After cocktail hour, the photobooth went back to the enclosed option. We had a last minute request to do a bridal party mix and he made it happen. The dancing on the clouds effect for our first dance was a wow effect for many of our guests. Great bilingual MC skills. He knew how to read the crowd and keep the event going as planned. All his services were great, but what made Ed the best vendor we hired was the attention to detail and flexibility. At one point in the wedding, he even came to get us a drink. The only regret is not booking him longer and we booked him for 6hrs. We hired Ed for our wedding in Corona, CA (7/23/2017). We had been planning from out-of-town so we really did not know any dj's in CA, but after speaking with Ed on the phone and communicating via email we felt we made the right choice. It was very hard to get out to CA prior to our wedding so we when finally got the chance, Ed was there to meet us at the venue. We were surprised to see all the other services he offered. He listened to our requests and help with some suggestions. We also referred to his own online playlists from webpage to help us make our song selections for each wedding event. It was very helpful. On our wedding day, he was there on time with everything set up at the ceremony site as well as the reception area. He offered a choice of coverings for his equipment (black or white), which was pretty cool to coordinate with our wedding colors. Also his uplighting absolutely added more to the overall room. He was able to adjust to one of our accent colors. It looked great even in the daytime. I can only imagine how much better it would to see it at night.
