Gourmet ingredients. Lots of imported foods for the cook who's looking for specialty items. All kinds of flavored oils and vinegars as well as bulk items.

    Some of the cheese selection.

One of the very best Mediterranean markets in Worcester. Great spices, olives, prepared foods. Recommend without reservations.

Prepared foods are delicious, I'm obsessed with the beet salad and the hoomus and pita chips.

I loved what I saw from street view already, being someone who loves quaint homeyness over hoity-toity pretentiousness, but upon walking in I almost knew immediately this would be the spot. It's a lovely little bakery, in a very quiet part of Worcester, and I felt invited in by the staff upon entering. Mara knew who we were, sat us down and provided excellent samples on a platter and discussed our favorite colors, ideas, etc. during our consultation. By the time she finished, my fiance looked at me and we exchanged the decision that we were going with On The Rise. Now, it's a way's off before I'll see what our wedding cake turns out to be, but the samples we tried were wonder, the presentation was beautiful, the service was excellent, and I love knowing I'm supporting a truly local staple. (If I remember, I'll update this after the wedding!)

I cannot speak for their catering business, but I highly recommend stopping by for a coffee and a pastry or sandwich! Prices are on point and the quaint space has a relaxing atmosphere. The owners will be there working hard and the service can't be beat. Low visibility, limited hours, and street parking but well worth stopping in.

The two ladies that own the shop are very knowledgeable, friendly, and down to earth! They make a lot of their own tea blends and tinctures but also source out really well-made items too. They won't always direct you one or another on your own personal health journey, but they will guide you to resources to help you along the way. I recently purchased a bunch of loose leaf teas, their own jarred castor oil and their own magnesium rub - all of which are great quality. They also have various workshops and events at the shop throughout the year that promote different kinds and levels of health and wellness. Examples are sourdough workshops, fire cider workshops, holy fire reiki, and so much more. The parking is on the street and can be hard to get a space super close by, but a quick walk will be worth it. The prices are fair for what you are getting. There is a small seating area in the front to look thru some of the resources and books they have in the store. There is also a small room off to the side where they sell natural alternatives for things like soap and candles.

The owner is very friendly and helpful. Parking can be tough, so I always park at the Dunkin Donuts parking lot that's on the road right after Thyme.
