What an awesome business. I've had a nagging check engine light that I finally decided to get repaired. I called in and requested a time to go in and the man who answered said swing by and they'll diagnose to see if it's something they can fix and they'll give a time frame. So, I swing by, tell him what's going on, and he takes a quick look at a part of my car and said "well, more likely than not, it's this, so why not just replace it with this, drive around and if you're still having problems, come back". Did what they suggested and the car is running great! I'm still going to swing by for an oil change shortly, and an all around multipoint inspection of everything but overall very stoked at the honesty and professionalism here. I was devoted to my previous mechanic. I was a total stan. However post pandemic I noticed I was not getting the caliber of service from that other mechanic that I used to. First of all at my old mechanic you had to get there super early to try and be one of the first few people in line to even get the car looked at that day. Imagine my very happy surprise when I made an appointment at Ed Little, arrived when they opened as suggested, and my car was taken immediately. About three hours later they were called to let me know what was going on. They were very honest about what needed to be done now, what can be done later, what I might wanna do down the road but it's not affecting reliability or safety, etc. And about an hour after that phone call the car was ready to pick up. They did a thorough once over of the car and they gave me a fantastic price for the work performed. I could totally feel the difference on my drive home. They took my car in for a review of suggested services that the dealership had recommended: (a) replace spark plugs, (b) rear differential fluid, (c) 65K routine maintenance, (d) brake pad replacement. Dennis was very upfront and honest, and after inspection said all I needed was the routine maintenance and everything else was not yet due (as well as gave me the specs for when I should take care of everything). To give you some back story, I had taken my new car to the dealer to get checked out. Then, a week later, I had an issue with my car that required me to take it in.. and I took it to Pep Boys. They then tried to tell me there was something else wrong with my car and they could help me with it for $1400.00 So I got a second opinion..
