They were accompanied by an interesting twist on the celery, thin slices that tasted like it had been soaked in lemon juice. Excellent. But the ahi was another matter. The presentation was excellent - unique and interesting - and it was served with a nice selection of different sauces streaked along the plate. A miniscule serving of chopped ahi was served atop 6 deep fried squares of sweet rice measuring about 1.5 inches on a side. The concept was really clever but the rice was so overcooked it was a solid wad of paste; the ahi on top of each small square of rice was good but was skimpy, to say the least - smaller than a teaspoon of chopped fish on each rice square. I doubt the total amount of ahi would have filled a shot glass. We give the presentation a 5 but the quality and quantity a 3.
