My go to for quick takeout Chinese food! They are friendly and the food is always piping hot. The dinner combos come with an egg roll and are super cheap. You get a lot of food for the price. My husband always gets the shrimp and scallops Hunan style. I've tried all the different types of chicken dishes, and love them all. The crab Rangoon is yummy too.

This is the web site version of lemon chicken. What I got was breaded nuggets.

I gave this place a second chance and they came through with the small order of Moo Goo Gi Pan chicken. It was less than six bucks! It tasted very good...tasty sauce, lots of veggies and chicken. Came with a side of rice. Could use more rice for the size of the entry. I will be back to get the Moo Goo Gi Pan.

Eddie Cheng has been disappointing and average as of lately. We used to get it every week but haven't been back until recently and when we did we see why. The beef used to be our favorite but now tastes gamey. The dumplings however were very good so maybe we just have to switch our usual pickens to something new. They do deliver which is great. They have a customer feedback page on their website which is hilarious as it doesn't get filtered.

Throughout the meal, the server will clear your empty plates and at the end of the meal they will drop off fortune cookies and towelettes. Crab days are Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays. During these days they serve lil crabs. There is also a build your own noodle station where you can choose your mix-ins and sauces, and they'll fry it up for you. The fried rice is solid and the garlic toast is shockingly really good. Food is pretty fresh and warm, and there are people constantly refilling trays and cleaning the buffet.

Woohoo! Or should I say, Wu-hoo?…read more I'll admit we're guilty that if we're craving Chinese food, we'll typically hit up Panda Express. It so happens that there was not a Panda conveniently located to us the day we were craving it, so I popped open my maps app to look around for alternatives. This place came up and I used their online menu to quickly take a peek at options/pricing, and deemed it somewhere I wanted to give a try. SO GLAD I did. The location is in a little bit of a dead-end street, but it's absolutely worth making the small detour. True to its name, it looks like a house. There was plenty of parking available. We discovered upon arrival that they've got some temporary hours for actually dining in, though that didn't matter to us since we were getting take out to eat back at home on our porch on a lovely warm, sunny afternoon. The inside of the place is pretty nice with lots of authentic decor, so no doubt dining in would be pleasant when it's an option. We were offered a menu so we could figure out our order; there was lots of yummy options to choose from. Plenty of folks were grabbing orders to-go that they'd called in for (which we might take advantage of in the future, since the wait time was around fifteen minutes for our food to be prepared; we just waited in the lobby on some comfortable chairs scrolling our phones, lol). It was rather apparent this place is frequented by Asian Americans rather than catering to random white people like us, as there was lots of fluent speaking in Chinese between customers and employees. Even so, they didn't make us feel unwelcome or out of place in the slightest. When our order was handed to us, I was in awe of the sheer WEIGHT of the bag I was given. It was A LOT of food, which was awesome. The pricing was extremely reasonable. I got a shrimp dish for around $13, and it was so ample that I ate from it not once, not twice, but THREE times. The cream cheese wontons were $5 for a baggie of ten, and sooo delicious (and easily reheated in our air fryer). All of it was delicious. My tastebuds were delighted. We will absolutely be coming here again, and again, and again. I'm excited to try more dishes! Thanks, House of Wu!

I wrote about this on my last trip from Florida where I moved 5 years ago. We permanently moved back to MN 1/26 and just returned to House of Wu today. OUTSTANDING.... Perfect Juicy. Just like in her original old days! Yay! Finally. Today the dining room was filled with 10 older and a few younger family and staff- - an EXCELLENT sign that her original recipes and wonderful care and quality of preparation HAVE RETURNED. Thank you. Thank you family.
